I honestly didnt know what the exclamation marks meant between a word and a character until today. Guess I wasn't so big brain after all ✊😔

Y/N: "Wait!"

It was crazy how two years ago you were stuck in a videogame fighting for your life and now, you returned to another videogame to spend some quality time with your girlfriend, who right now had surprised you by pushing you into the lake near the log house where you two used to live but now use to meet up in the virtual world.

Asuna was special, since she was the first person you helped when the whole SAO thing started, which helped you two turn into friends, then into something special.

Y/N: "Now I'm wet!"

Asuna: "Kneel before the great water goddess!"

Y/N: "No, I'm pretty sure that's someone else."

Asuna: "Well, are you gonna get out of there or what?"

Asuna offered her hand to help you, but you decided to pull her in with you just so she can know how it feels. Once her head emerged from the water, you were taken aback at how she looked now that she was wet and her clothes, which were a simple shirt and leggings, were now really sticking to her body in a way that... better not think about it. You looked away, blushing a little.

Asuna: "Now you got me wet!"

Asuna pouted, splashing your blushing face with some of the cool water, which helped a little to cool you down. Her angry expression was really cute, which made you want to kiss Asuna, so you gave her a quick kiss.

Asuna: "Y/N, we're gonna catch a cold if we stay here."

Y/N: "Whose idea was it to push me?"

Asuna: "You pulled me in with you!"

Not even two seconds passed before you and Asuna started laughing, getting closer and closer to each other and kissing each other once more, this time making the kiss last a bit longer.

Asuna: "Okay then, let's go. We still have to meet in the real world, don't we?"

Y/N: "You're right, I cannot wait."

You gave Asuna another quick kiss before splashing her face with water.

SOME MINUTES LATER

You took off the Amusphere helmet and stood up from your bed, checking the time and seeing there was still a lot of time for you to get ready. You went and took a shower, changed clothes, brushed your teeth... and brushed them again just to make sure.

Once you were ready, you left your house, making your way over to Asuna's house since she mentioned she wanted to watch a movie at her house after her parents suddenly left for a couple of days, and you might have raised your hopes up a bit after she had mentioned it, hoping to sleep with her just like you once did in VR.

On you way there, you felt someone was following you which made you quickly turn around and see that it was literally no one at all, just a curious cat.

Y/N: "Come on cat, don't scare me like that. Go on now."

The cat surprisingly listened and returned where it came from, going back into an alleyway.

Y/N: "I hate going out at night."

You continued to walk towards Asuna's house, feeling a bit uneasy, but the closer you got, the safer you felt so you sped up. The cat from before... well, since it was bothering you, it had to be dealt with.

You'll never see it again.

You finally arrived at the house, knocking on the door and waiting for someone to answer, but no one did. You knocked again, this time with a bit more strength. The door slightly opened and it appeared no one locked it to begin with.

Y/N: "Asuna?"

You entered the house, closing the door and locking it just to make sure. You looked around the house, not seeing anything but pure darkness. You turned on all the lights because, secretly, you were sort of afraid of the dark, and if any thief or criminal comes out because of it you know you could handle them.

You were done checking the first floor so you very slowly walked up the stairs to the second floor, constantly checking behind you just so no one would sneak up on you.

You saw the door to her room, and if you were right, you would have to fight any trespasser that was in there, because the lights in Asuna's bedroom were the only ones of the entire house that were on.

You forcefully opened the door, and without seeing, you charged straight ahead and tackled someone down to the ground. You opened your eyes and saw a naked Asuna, who was blushing intensely after you got in her room without permission.

Asuna: "Y/N, you pervert!"

Y/N: "Oh my god I'm so sorry. I thought..."

Asuna: "You thought wrong! I just finished showering for tonight. When did you get in here?!"

Y/N: "You left the door unlocked!"

You gulped, quickly standing up and handing Asuna back her towel which she wrapped around her body.

Asuna: "Get out of my room and wait downstairs!"

Y/N: "Sorry. I'm sorry!"

You left the room and closed the door, sighing as you walked downstairs. Meanwhile, Asuna shook her head, giggling.

Asuna: "He's cute when he's embarrassed."

You sat at the couch, still feeling bad after storming into your girlfriend's room. You used your phone and waited for Asuna to come down.

You started hearing light footsteps as Asuna walked downstairs and looked at you from a distance, probably still angry after what happened.

Asuna&Y/N: "Listen I'm—"

You interrupted each other trying to apologize, which caused Asuna to chuckle.

Asuna: "You first."

Y/N: "I'm sorry for entering like that."

Asuna: "Apology accepted. I'm sorry for reacting too harshly about the whole thing."

Y/N: "Apology accepted."

You and Asuna smiled, both unsure as to what to do next until you received a call from an unknown number. You looked at it and questioned whether to answer it or not. You decided not to.

Y/N: "Alright, let's watch a movie, I guess."

Asuna: "Sounds good. You did pick what we were going to watch, right?"

Asuna walked to the couch and sat next to you, admiring how nice you looked this uneventful evening.

Y/N: "It's a horror movie."

Asuna: "But I don't like those."

Y/N: "You get scared easily?"

Nothing scares her. Except the thought of losing you.

Asuna: "Of course not! I'll promise not to get scared."

Y/N: "If you do get scared, I'll be here to protect you."

Asuna: "I'm counting on you."

While you and Asuna enjoyed a nice, long movie in the comfort of each other's arms...

Let's just say the rest of the girls were "hanging" out.

You'll never see them again.

After the movie had ended, you carried a tired Asuna up to her bedroom, gently placing her on her bed and, laying next to her, you wrapped your arms around her.

Y/N: "Goodnight Asuna."

Asuna smiles, feeling the warmth of your body and appreciating every second of it.

Asuna: "Sweet dreams, Y/N..."
