I'm still working on different requests, so here's another one of my old oneshots! (I'll finish them all by Sunday!)

One step after the other, Y/N walked to May's house. Anxious and nervous, a drop of sweat rolled down his face but he wiped it off. May had called him and had asked him if he could go to her house, and nothing else. He gladly accepted, but didn't know what he was getting into since last night, things got interesting.

Flashback

May: "Meeting so many different people..."

I had become the champion and May and I were walking home. She asked me to battle and we did. I won, but I felt something then. Every single time May said something, I felt my chest get heavy. It wasn't something negative, it was positive, very positive. My heart was beating fast, my face was hot and I felt a bit sad—nostalgic—I guess is a better word to describe it.

May: "And encountering so many Pokemon..."

Every step, that feeling grew, my feelings towards someone, her. May started this journey with me and we've been best friends since. If I could use a word to describe May, it would be honest, and that's because she was. Her honesty made me feel safe and loved. Every time I bumped into her while I was out there getting badges or training my Pokemon, it just made my day better. She made my day better.

May: "It's just really..."

She is a beacon of hope and love that I never knew I needed in my life. Kind of silly to think that I could fall for the girl next door.

May: "It's been really, really fun!"

Love. I felt a strong feeling of love for her. That's what it was.

May: "Ah!"

Something about her smile, and the way that smile made me smile.

May: "Y/N! Look at that!"

May pointed up, to the starry sky. Shooting stars, a beautiful sight. But...

Y/N: "They're not as beautiful as you."

May: "W-What?"

I had accidentally said my thoughts out loud. I'm so screwed.

Y/N: "I...I didn't...well I'm not necessarily lying but...this is not the way I would've..."

May walked closer, her face really close to mine. She looked me deep in my eyes and this was the first time I was this close to her, physically. She held my face with both hands.

May(whispering): "Can you...can you come to my house tomorrow...first thing in the morning...it's something urgent."

I didn't say a single word. I simply nodded.

May(whispering): "Good...I'll...see you there then..."

May used her right hand to caress my cheek and she smiles. She then jogged back home. I stood there, my heart beating faster than a horny teen beats their meat. That was a weird comparison. Anyways, I decided to snap out of my trance and I walked home, still trying to process what had happened.

Back to the present, Y/N stood in front of the door and was about to knock. It was early in the day because the sun was barely out. Y/N heard a window open, so he looked up. May had opened her window and was waving at Y/N.

May: "Psssst. Over here. Hellooooo."

Y/N: "H-Hey."

May: "Here, come through here."

Y/N: "How am I gonna get up there?"

May: "Use a flying Pokemon!"

Y/N: "Or just use your hand!"

May: "My arm's too short!"

Y/N: "Trust me."

May extended her arm downwards and Y/N walked a couple of steps back. Then, running as fast as he could, Y/N used his right foot to propel himself up using the velocity already within himself and the wall of the house and, while in the air, extended his arm up to grab May's.

May: "Ow!"

Y/N had grabbed May's hand, but the force that he is using to hold on to her hand was pulling her down.

Y/N: "Hold on!"

Y/N used his other hand to grab on the window frame. Then pulled himself up into May's room, both falling on the bedroom floor and gasping for air.

May: "...That...was...fun..."

Y/N: "...I...honestly didn't think it...would work..."

May: "...Oh hoh hoh...so...you're telling me...you risked your friend's life to do something that you could've easily done...using one of your pokemon..."

Y/N: "Hahah...I guess..."

Y/N, remembering why he was there, had turned red and looked nervous. May sits on the floor and looks at Y/N laying on the floor, which causes her face to get a little red as well.

May: "A-Anyways, come here."

She stands up and walks to her bed, sits on it and pats the spot of the bed in front of her, signaling Y/N to sit there. He does so.

May: "So...I called you here because...well...how do I even begin..."

May looked at her fingers and fiddled with them a little. Her face getting redder every passing second.

May: "Thank you...for...being my friend."

She now looked up and was looking at Y/N's eyes. Her face showing an innocence that Y/N had never seen before.

May: "As you know...we started this journey together, not expecting to get to where we are now. I mean, you're literally the freaking champion which is one of the coolest things ever!"

She had raised her arms and showed her excitement, but then controlled herself.

May: "Ahem! So I guess I made you wake up super early and literally jump up to my bedroom to tell you that I'm grateful you're in my life. Hehe..."

Y/N smiled, but tried to keep his tears from leaving his eyes. So he quickly got closer to May and hugged her really tight.

Y/N: "I actually have something I wanna tell you too, but I'm afraid that it will ruin this."

May: "You can tell me anything Y/N! I am your friend after all! But I think I already know what you're going to say, so!"

Y/N: "Wait what are you..."

All of a sudden, May had used her right hand to cover Y/N's eyes and Y/N felt a pressure on his lips, like it made contact with something. May removed her hand from Y/N's eyes and he saw she had gotten red again.

May: "I think I also want to be more than friends."
