"EXPLOOOOOOSION!"

A huge cloud appears after everything in sight was destroyed by the explosion. The colors that came from the explosion were really pretty, vibrant tones of red. It was absolutely beautiful, just like the person that did it. Her name was Megumin and she was a cute little arch wizard who could only use explosion magic in battle and nothing else. At first I found that kind of odd, but then I started admiring her determination. Her determination to become the best explosion magic user ever.

Megumin falls to the ground because using explosion drains her of most of her energy and she always gets exhausted every time she uses it, so she can only do it once a day.

Megumin: "So, how was that?"

Y/N: "That was pretty astonishing, the way everything comes together beautifully at the end to form pure disaster, there's just something about it that still amazes me."

Megumin: "Expect no less from an arch wizard such as myself! Fufufu. And the rating for today is..." mimics drum rolls with mouth

Y/N: "A eight out of ten"

Megumin: "Yuss!"

She gave me a thumbs up while I did the same. After the explosion, I would usually give her a piggyback ride home since she couldn't walk and we would do this every day. But I wanted to do something different today, so I carried Megumin to a tree nearby and sat her down, her back against the tree.

Megumin: "Hey, what's going on"

Y/N: "Nothing really, I just thought we could spend some quality time together, you know, aside from all our explosion dates we have."

Megumin: "But, why here? Its not that I don't want to hang out with you, I'm just curious.

I sat down next to her

Y/N: "I guess I just wanted to get away from it all, the noise, the people, our very intelligent and responsible team members, you know, just for a couple of minutes.

Megumin: Hehe, alright sure. What do you want to talk about.

And it turned out great. We talked a bit about Megumin's past, which was something she usually never talked about, as well as a bit about Yunyun and how she came into her life. Then we talked about me, about my old world, how I died and came into this world. Half of the things I mentioned about earth, Megumin could not believe at all or she was surprised and had a cute expression on her face, like when we talked about 'the small device that gave you the answer for everything' which was the phone. It was such a peaceful and fun time and it felt like one of the best moments of my life, something so simple, yet so significant. This was the first time we had gotten intimate with each other and it felt extremely satisfying.

I looked at the sun and realized it was setting, it was getting late.

Y/N: "Oh look, the sun's setting"

Megumin: "Should we go back?"

Y/N: "I'm not sure, you want to stay and watch the sunset?"

Megumin: "That would be nice"

And in a quick turn of events, she leaned her head against my shoulder, with a smile on her face. This made me blush a little, but it wasn't too noticeable because Megumin didn't call me out on it.

Megumin: "Hey Y/N?"

Y/N: "y-yeah?"

Megumin: "Thanks"

Y/N: "For what?"

Megumin: "Everything. I'm glad I met you and I hope we can keep on doing things like these everyday. I don't know what I would do without you."

Y/N: "Hey, don't worry about it, in many ways you've helped me too, and I'm thankful for that. We're the best dynamic duo out there and nothing's ever going to change that."

Megumin: giggles "Yep, the greatest explosion couple to ever exist!"

Y/N: "To be fair, you're the one doing all the exploding."

Megumin: "You could always walk the path of explosions with me if you learned how to use explosion magic."

Y/N: "Then it's settled, tomorrow we start the learning!"

Megumin: "Yay!"

I stood up, gently placed her on my back, put her arms around my neck and hold her legs.

Y/N: "So are you ready to go home?"

Megumin: "Yes, let's go sleep and we will explode everything tomorrow!"

Y/N: "Alright then Megu, let's go."

Megumin: "Megu?"

Y/N: "I thought it was cute."

I could tell Megumin was blushing because she buried her face into my neck and it felt hot.

Megu: "O-Ok-ay then, N/N, we shall go."

Y/N: "N/N?"

Megu: "I-I thought it was cute?"

N/N: "Hehe, fair enough."

Megu: "V-Very well then, Nickname Master, onwards, to our house!"

Y/N: "You better hold on, because I'm going to go really fast."

Megu: "Wait you wh-"

I ran as fast as I could, the wind blowing in our faces, the moon slowly rising and the stars waking up. The future seemed promising, and for the first time, coming to this world was one of the best things that has happened to me.
