Suvarna's POV.

Glancing at the batter I see there is enough for only one more pancake.

Just as I toss the one already in the frying pan a pair of strong arms sneaked up from behind around my waist and I am pulled behind.

"Shishir!" I complained even as a smile found it's way to my lips.

"Yes sweetheart?" the devil replied trying to sound innocent.

"I am cooking incase you did not notice." I mumble leaning back into his arms trying to sound displeased and failing miserably!

"Oh I noticed that all right. I am helping you make the pancakes." He said as he tightened his arms around me and planted a kiss on my right ear.

"Helping me? How? By distracting me?" I asked as I removed the cooked pancake from the pan and spread the last one..

I instantly knew I had said the wrong thing when I felt his lip pull into a smile while still touching my ear. "You get distracted by me?" He smiled, his breath hot on my neck.

"Distract? You heard that? I had said disturb." I say while trying to pull out of his arms.

"Liar." He chuckled as he let go of me only to plop himself on the kitchen counter next to where I was.

"Don't just sit there mister. Lend a hand." I laughed. "Get the fresh cream from the fridge. I have already placed the strawberry and chocolate syrups on the table."

"Yes Ma'am!" He said and got down and went towards the fridge.

Today morning we had the house to ourselves with Raghunath Uncle leaving early to attend a meeting and he had taken Paresh with him. Our grandparents had left last night to visit a friend and would be returning later in the day.

I looked at Shishir as he arranged the plates on the kitchen island. I bit my lips trying to think how to broach the topic.

"Shishir-" I said softly as I watched him drown his pancake in strawberry sauce before helping himself to a generous dollop of fresh cream.

"Hmm?" He asked looking up.

I looked away feeling uneasy about the topic "About your will-" I paused before continuing "Shishir you don't need to - I mean it's not right." I said while staring at my plate. With a jerk I felt my chair turn towards right and I found myself facing Shishir. I gasped when he lifted me off the chair and in a flash had me on his lap.

"Shishir!" I yelped more at the force applied than being surprised by his action.

"Whose money and assets are we talking about?" He asked holding me by my waist, making movement impossible.

"Shishir -" I started to protest to be cut off by his "Answer the damn question Suvi!"

"Yours." I said quietly.

"And you?" he continued softly.

"What about me?" I asked scrunching my forehead in confusion.

He lifted my wrist with the band and entwined it with his wrist. I gazed at both the bands. S.M and S.S.

"Are you mine?" he whispered close to my ear.

I nodded quietly. "Then how can my action be anything but right?" he asked and I could not think of anything to say by way of argument.

"You are a deadly lawyer." I muttered.

"That is the idea sweetheart." He laughed and I hit his arm. I had been trying to talk to him about his will ever since he had told me yesterday and he has just been waving it off throughout.

I felt him hold out a piece of pancake to my mouth and I smiled as I ate it.

Chewing on the piece I moved away from his lap and went back to my cjair and pulled it towards my plate.

"What is Aditya's punishment?" I asked suddenly realising I had never asked about this.

"That is a sudden change of topic. " Shishir chuckled and I shrugged my shoulder.

"For taking up false identity he had to pay a hefty fine as penalty, no imprisonment." Shishir paused as he popped a piece of pancake in his mouth and chewed on it. "For his role in Ricky taking up my identity and travelling he had to pay another penalty along with imprisonment for fourteen-"

"Fourteen years!" I shouted interrupting him then stopped on seeing his amused expression. "No that is too much." I conceded feeling silly for overreacting "But fourteen months is also too much!"

"Days! My impatient dumbo." Shishir laughed.

"Days? Fourteen days? Only?" I said raising my eyebrow.

"You want him to be held for a longer period of time?" Shishir laughed.

"Of course not!" I said glaring at him "But this is wonderful! Three days have already passed so it is just another eleven days!" I said feeling happy.

Shishir nodded and my phone rang just then. "It's Prema!" I said "Hey Prema!" I answered then on hearing what she had to say a happy smile broke into my face. "That is great Prema! Yes of course I will chat with him on video chat once you are with him."

Anuj's POV.

Sitting in the backseat of the taxi I watch the city pass by. Delhi, the city of my birth and where I have spent most of my life. It has always been homecoming. Always, but not this time. I will not be visting home though I long to.

A ragged sigh leaves me as I lean back on my seat and close my eyes. This time I have come back to the city after almost three years and things are very different from how they had been since three years back. I am very different. When our band signed on a show for Mumbai, I could not resist visiting Delhi even if it was for only few hours. At least I will be able to meet Prema, my little sister.

As the taxi pulled to a halt outside the super market I got down pulling my small bag with me. Aftef paying for the ride I went in.

Texting Prema I let her know I have already reached. Almost immediately I got a response from her telling she is already on her way and will be reaching in a few hours.

I started looking around the market where I had come scores of times before when I used to live here. Standing in front of the café where I was supposed to meet Prema I paused. I could not help think back of the time when I used to hang around here for hours with my friends after a good game of football, or just to chat. I have not been interacting with my friends for quire sometime and I I feel a big part of my childhood being cut off.

It has been like this ever since I became Andy from Anuj. I pulled up a chair to sit down aware of eyes on me. I don't think most recognise me but are just curious about my appearance. I should have covered my hair I thought to myself. This is going to attract way to much of attention and there is always a chance of coming across a fan.

I sighed realising it was too late to do anything about it since I had nothing with me that would help me hide my hair.

I wish I did not have to hide. I miss being my ownself, I miss not being able to connect with the people I love and care about.

"Bhaiya!" The happy voice made me look up and I smiled "Prema!" I stood up as she started entering the café and walked upto her.

"How are you bhaiya?" she asked as she hugged me. I hugged her for a moment letting the happy feeling run over me. "I missed you sis." I said gulping down the clog in my throat at the sudden rush of emotion.

"I missed you too bhaiya. How long are you here?" she asked as I led her to the table.

"I have a flight for Mumbai to catch I couple of hours so I will have about an hour." I said seating myself.

"Only an hour! Bhaiya that is not fair!"Prema  complained.

"I will come for a longer visit soon." I tried to assure her, though did not really know myself how and when that was going to be possible.

"When you come next time bhaiya come home. Everyone misses you, especially Mummy." Prema said quietly and I felt a wave of sadness over come me.

"I miss everyone too." I said quietly.

"Bhaiya is all this worth it?" Prema asked making me look at her "I mean what kind of a girl will not accept you for what you are. Can she not make out how much you care for her that you are ready to go into any length for her."

She had a point and I knew it but was not ready to accept it "She did not ask me to do all this. I am doing this because I want to." I said stubbornly.

"I understand bhaiya."Prema said softly and I smiled as she looked into the menu card. I looked around and felt my breath hitch as I caught sight of something.

Without thinking I grabbed the menu card Prema had in her hand and covered my face with it.

"Bhaiya!" she said surprised and I managed to blurt out. "Don't look now. "

"Don't look where?" she asked.

"Mummy!"

"What?"

"Mummy is standing outside the shop in the opposite side around the circle." I said in dismay.

"Are you sure! How can she be here?" Prema said sounding worried "Bhaiya you cannot hide behind the menu card!"

"So what do you suggest? I go in front of her and offer myself to be killed by her?" I snapped.

"Calm down bhaiya!" She said and before I could retort she grabbed my hand "Quick she is not looking."

We ran out of the café grabbing my bag and entered the lift which thankfully had just arrived near the café.

"Thank God."Prema sighed as the doors of the lift closed. "Bhaiya you carried the Menu card with you!" she laughed pulling down the card behind which I was still hiding my face.

"Here return it later to the café. " I said handing her the Menu and she took it laughing. I handed her the bag I had with me as the lift reached the ground level "For you and Pappu " I managed to say trying not to choke at the words. I long to hold my baby brother in my arms.

"Bhaiya!" Prema said as tears began to pool in her eyes I hugged her close and kissed her forehead. "I need to go." I said softly closing my eyes for a moment. "I will come again soon."

Anju's POV.

Few minutes after Prema had started from home to meet Anuj.

I get down from the auto, taking care Prema does not see I am following her. The girl has been upto something since past few days.

I know she has come here to meet someone but she lied to me saying she is going for her classes! Does she think she can fool her mother?

I hide myself behind a huge cutout outside a shop while I watch her. I gasp as I see a man come to her and she breaks into a happy smile and hugs him!

I step back horrified as I realise it is the same man I had seen on T.V some days back - I can never mistake that brinjal like hair style!

What is the girl upto? Why is she meeting this man and that too she lied to me, her mother!

I am too far to make out what they are talking. Should I try to get closer?

No! That will warn them and I don't want Prema to see me here. I glanced at my mobile and smiled as a wonderful idea comes into my mind. I will click their photo together. Then Prema will not be able to make any excuses.

I glared at the two of them from far. They are laughing and seem to be happy! Prema you are in a big trouble for lying to your mother.

How does this thing work I thought as I fiddled through the camera in my mobile. Why is my face showing instead of them?

Oh God! Why cannot the camera be simple like the ones we had in our time? Click a button and we were done.

I pushed at the buttons and realised it was on 'selfie mode.' I let out a hiss of irritation when I heard a click and my face stilled on the screen.

Silly camera! It is clicking my photo now instead of - I glanced up and saw the table they were sitting at was empty! Where did they go?

Oh no! Where did they go? I rushed in the direction of the café and saw they were not inside.

I banged my hand on my forehead. All because of this complicated mobile!

Smart phone- It should be called 'unsmart phone!'

I should have not waited to take a photo and should have just walked upto them I thought angry with myself.

Pre cap Chapter 78.

Anju's POV.

I looked at my husband as he sat reading the newspaper. "Do you know how to -er- booble"

"Do I know what?" he asked his face still buried behind the paper.

"Put that paper down and talk." I said feeling irritated. "booble- you do not know how to?"

"What is a booble? A new dance step Pappu  has learnt?"

"No! that - that search train everyone uses to find things on the internet."

He gave me a confused look before bursting out in laughter. "You mean google? It is not a search train! It is a search engine!"

"Engine or train it is all the same." I snapped. Do you know how it works and sighed in relief when he nodded 'yes.'

"Type in Andy on it for me and help me look up."
