Hoping to see Waio alive.

Osei couldn't help but be nervous.

As the shuttle approached, Osei, noticed bodies and weapons littering the surface near the three ships, that landed on the large asteroid.

A little further away a Terraforma was active.

A machine first engineered by the people of Messa, that kept air and gravity circulating around the asteroid.

The shuttle landed behind the Aratris.

"Activate combat mode and equip your weapons... Make sure to locate and report to me Waio's location."

Osei ordered.

The two androids went to work, transforming themselves into their military designed modes, installed by the Rennayan Royal Military engineers.

They grabbed their automatic laser rifles, from the compartment and equipped knives.

Osei grabbed his sword.

He wasn't prepared to lose anyone else.

The bots exited the shuttle followed by Osei rushing quietly along the Aratris.

They turned by a corner of the hull.

A Valmerian giant, 12 feet tall swung his axe down on a humanoid golem, that was just a little smaller and made of dirt and minerals from the asteroid.

Ten men clad in purple and black, metallic battle space suits, were locked in deadly combat with seven smaller golems.

Behind the golems, he saw a wounded Waio holding the broken half of his lance.

Happy to see him again, he couldn't help but call out.

"Waio!"

Waio looked back, he saw Osei.

His face turned into instant fear.

"Osei..."

" You mustn't be here!" He yelled out in desperation.

"The boy!"

Some of the men had noticed Osei and started making their way towards him.

Waio, took down the first two running, by levitating a few rocks and sending them hurdling towards the back of their heads.

The other dodged the attack and fired multiple shots from his rifle.

Nearly hitting, Waio as he puts up a clay wall.

He then summoned a clay spike from behind the soldier impaling him from the back.

The two others had nano laser swords out.

After returning a few blows with his lance, it was cut off once again, on the last blow.

Without hesitating he followed up by summoning a clay and mineral sword from the ground with his left and beheaded him.

Osei's helpers started firing at the rest of the soldiers as they had broken through the golems that Waio had created.

"Let me fight with you!"

Osei yelled out to Waio.

"It is not your place to fight now, young master. Hurry to somewhere safe-"

His words were cut short.

The first half of his body from the abdomen, had been sliced cleanly in half and sailed into the air, landing on the ground with a thud.

Blood gushed from the rest as it lopped forward.

"Since we know where the boy is, we no longer need him alive."

The giant said, as he he raised his bloody axe back up on his shoulder.

Valmerian warriors, a giant race with explosive speed, that had once ravaged the galaxy.

Waio had taught him.

Osei's mind went blank.

He had taken in too much loss today.

He couldn't bear it.

Something snapped within him, his life force started shaving away.

Static started to build up, in the air.

Electricity from all around the asteroid started to converge towards one point.

Osei.

Blue veins started snaking around his body, glowing.

His blue eyes glowed brighter.

His hair started to rise.

The men wary from what was happening started to back away.

"Aaaaaaaah!"

Osei let out and anguished scream.

It piercing the soldiers right to their souls and sent chills down their spines.

Static electricity burst out from him and started ripping the ground up around, followed by a huge shockwave.

The men covered their eyes to shield from the dust and debris.

In a blink of an eye, Osei slashed down three of them, before they could even react.

High off the adrenaline, he could barely register the thought of killing for for the first time.

As the other soldiers tried restraining him.

He slices off the hand of the nearest one, dropping him to his knees screaming from the pain.

The last two raised their guns, pointing them at him terrified and forgetting their mission.

His androids neutralize them, joining in on the fight.

All that was left was the giant, who was watching him earnestly with interest.

"Boy, come quietly and I won't hurt you."

He said breaking the silence.

Osei growled at him.

"I won't forgive you."

Although he was out of breath, the anger had not subsided.

It had just been a year since he had first awakened his lightning abilities.

He was a prodigy and with him ascending to the first level, he felt like he had enough strength to take down this villain, in front of him.

Waio had taught him, how his abilities had worked and trained him day in & out till he was able to harness it.

A small cloud started to form and grow above them, as Osei raised his hand.

Electricity crackled around them racing into the cloud, loudly.

The Valmerian braced, unsure of what was going on.

"Thunder Raika!"

As Osei yelled.

A giant bolt of lightning, striked the giant and surrounding area causing a large explosion.

Osei covered his eyes and braced, but held his ground.

The bots were were sent flying into the ships.

Osei stared into the dust and smoke expecting to see the giant down, but he was gone.

He felt a blur to his right.

Just in time, he rose his sword to block the giants swinging axe, knocking him crashing against a rock wall.

The giant had used the flat side of his axe to avoid killing him.

Pain stung his left arm.

It was broken.

He coughed, blood splattered the ground, as his vision blurred.

The markings on his body started to flicker.

The glow in his eyes was fading.

I'm going to die, he thought.

The giant walked towards him.

The androids had recovered and started firing at the giant, but he brushed off the bullets, and threw his axe at them.

They jumped back.

He lunged at them.

Grabbing one them, with his explosive speed and reach.

It resisted.

Stabbing his hand multiple times, but after a few seconds it stopped moving, as the giant crushed it.

The last one continued to fire.

The giant turned his attention towards it and started running.

He kicked it like a ball, with his full strength.

Sending the bot flying past past the ships, unseen from again.

"Now it's time for you to come with me."

The giant said, turning his head towards Osei.

However Osei, did not miss the opportunity his androids had presented him.

Lunging behind the giants neck, clad in electricity he stabbed deep into the giants beefy neck.

Dragging his sword back as far as he could.

The giant screamed, grabbing for his neck.

Osei dropped to the ground behind him and lunged at back of his knee caps, slicing them.

The giant dropped forward on his knees.

In a flurry of strikes and rage, Osei charged up electricity and kept slicing away at the giant over and over.

Nonstop.

After what felt like forever, he dropped his sword.

He was covered in blood, while he stared at the giant.

There was silence.

Then the giant flopped forward.

Lifeless body, hitting the ground with a thud, in front of Osei.

In triumph, Osei couldn't help but let out a triumphant cry.

He picked up his sword and sheathed it, then rushed over to Waio, mourning him.

He stared at his lifeless teachers face.

"I'm sorry-"

"What's there to be sorry for, you were wonderful."

Osei unsheathed his sword pointing it at the speaker.

Static electricity crackled around him.

"You!"

Rage had rushed back through Osei's veins like never before.

It was Atlas, descending behind him.

Osei got up and immediately and lunged with all his might.

Atlas disappeared in a blur and with a flat chop, striked Osei in the back of his neck, knocking him out instantly.

"You'll make for a fine trophy."

He picked up the unconscious prince

Generates a small air bubble and leaves for the Pandora.
