15 years later...

Kiala zipped through the training room, trying to push herself to the limit.

She destroyed each android that came at her, with balls of fire.

Some androids launched into the air, aiming for an aerial attack.

She looked up at them and they froze in midair.

Three more rushed her from behind.

She created an athletic humanoid golem with gold hands and it boxed their heads off.

A gigantic siegemech charged her, firing missiles and machine gun fire.

She dodged each with blues of electricity, then rushed it.

Hopping onto its arm, unsheathing her sword and dragging it deep in its arm, as she climbed her way up to its head.

It's other arm reached for her at sonic speed.

She went first gear and leaped in the air, while sending a slice of ice covered in flames and electricity to cut its reaching arm off.

She points one hand down at its head while floating.

"Static: Lightning Blaze!"

Blue lightning and orange fire raced forth from her palms and engulfed the siegemech and android piloting it.

Resulting in a massive explosion.

She shielded herself in a dome of ice.

Saphyra clapped from the audience seats.

Kiala looked at Saphyra with a disappointed look.

"This is boring, I wish mom would let me go down to Earth."

Saphyra shook her head.

"You know we can't do that. You have an important mission."

Kiala frowned.

"Yeah but what is it? You guys have never told me. I've already defeated a few children of Atlas. What are you guys so afraid of.

Just the overhead speaker chimed in.

"Kiala and Saphyra, it's time... come to the R&D department."

At the R&D department...

Kiala thought she had too many rules constricting her life.

She was not allowed to go to Earth. She had barely interacted with other human beings and she wasn't allowed any social media.

Amongst that, she was forbidden from entering the R&D department.

A room Sarah had cooped up herself in regularly.

Kiala looked at Sarah, who was standing by a chair hooked to a large oval like portal machine.

"Mom what's going, what's this?"

Sarah smiled.

"Kiala, we've barely told you about your father, but it's now time to meet him."

Kiala smirked back shaking her head.

"Didn't he get himself killed and left us in this situation? I'm not interested. Let's go down to Earth Mom and go shopping. It's not healthy to keep yourself cooped up here."

Sarah chuckled.

"I'm sure he wouldn't like that attitude. You will be going to Earth though. You will be going to see him, he isn't coming to us."

Kiala's eyebrows rose.

"Wait what? He's been on Earth, all this time?"

Sarah shook her head, then nodded at Saphyra.

Who stealthily injected a tranquilizer in Kiala's arm, hidden in her palm.

Kiala felt the sting and looked back at Saphyra.

"What... what are you doing."

She started to fall, losing consciousness, but Saphyra caught her.

Kiala was fighting the sleep.

"Why... are you doing this?"

Saphyra picked her up in both of her arms, as she looked at her mother.

Sarah smiled at her.

"You will understand, eventually."

A tear streaked down her face.

"For the last 20 years, I've worked on this plan, it was the only thing keeping me from despair, aside from you of course. Please save him and be the hero you've always wanted to be."

She went and sat in the chair, as the machine powered up and started to absorb energy from her.

Saphyra stood on a platform as a trolly with a big crate and a small box, captioned 'For Kiala', strolled onto the platform.

The platform raised up hovering and pulled  magnetically towards the oval portal.

Kiala's eyes started to close, she couldn't hold out much longer.

Sarah looked at her once more and with one final breath said.

"Happy Birthday Kiala, I love you so much!"

Then she slumped over in her chair, as the machine pulled the last of her life out of her to reach optimal settings.

Kiala started crying knowing her mom is dead, as the last of her strength gave away and she fell unconscious.

Saphyra looked at Sarah, then looked at Kiala.

She felt the sadness, but didn't cry for there was no reason to.

"For the mission."

She whispered to herself, then walked through the portal.
