"I missed you so much, you have no idea how that little Ottoman princess has humiliated me in front of whole harem," Leyla said as she ran into the hug of her beloved Crimean Khan Mehmed. On purpose she acted to be very sad and very hurt because of those events, not telling she actually disrespected Neslihan which forced her to act like that.

Mehmed took her into a warm hug as he went to meet her in the separate part of the palace where he had his private mansion where no one was allowed to enter, and he used it to spend as much of time with Leyla as he can, because anymore he couldn't do it publicly because with one Neslihan's word the war could start again between the Ottomans and the Crimeans.

"My love don't make yourself sad because of her words, she is here just due to her political duty. You know I will never ever even look at her," Mehmed wiped Leyla's tears as his heart felt sad when his beloved woman acted like this.

"But you will have to kiss her, to sleep with her, you will have to have children with her, everything the two of us were supposed to do," Leyla didn't stop but continued to cry knowing how Mehmed was weak on her. If she would wish for the whole world Mehmed would make sure to give her the whole world, he loved her more than a person could imagine and she loved him the same way, but there was nothing Mehmed could do to stop this marriage that has already happened because it was ordered by the authority much higher than him.

"If I ever do that it will be just once to get a heir because otherwise their Sultan might make me problems if he finds out I really don't want her," Mehmed once again wiped Leyla's tears.

There were no words with which he could comfort her as this moment, because the two of them were two people in love who couldn't be together because of Neslihan. She wasn't just an ordinary woman they could get rid of, but Sultana to who if anything bad happens their heads would go away.

"This marriage is only a temporary solution, I will try to be cool, so that one day she decides to divorce. Then, you and I will be able to get married as we have planned our whole life," Mehmed kissed Lejla's forehead, trying to make her feels better. Although he uttered these words, he knew that the situation was not exactly like that and in the event that Neslihan wanted to separate, the Sultan would probably question him and start the state of war again, and like this when his cousin was in the Crimea, it did not occur to him to go to war with them. But even the other states that were afraid of the Ottomans, now knew that when their Sultanate was in the Crimea, they too must not attack the Crimea because the Sultan would immediately go to war. Mehmed actually profited that way and gained total security for his state, but for that he had to give up his love for his wife.

"If I could, I would have strangled her with my own hands after she humiliated me," Lejla bursts into tears again inconsolably, seeing that Mehmed didn't even get angry after he found out what Neslihan did to her. Lejla expected that he would now attack Neslihan and defend Lejla in front of everyone, but that did not happen.

"Ignore her, she is the one who is jealous of you because you have her husband's love," Mehmed tried to save the situation again with his flattering words that made Lejla very happy.

Finally her eyes stopped being filled with tears and finally she looked at Mehmed's eyes which also looked at her. Mehmed put his hand on her hair and took a strand of her brown hair, then he put his hand on her cheek and pulled her to him for a kiss.

"No matter what anyone says, don't forget that you will forever be my one and only wife," Mehmed said, continuing to passionately kiss Lejla, moving towards the deception that he knew could lose his head, but he could not restrain himself in an instant in front of his beloved woman.

Mehmed and Lejla kissed passionately, knowing that no one could stop them from doing what they wanted. Lejla's hands were on Mehmed's back, while he started to unbutton her dress, throwing it on the floor.

"You are my wife," Mehmed said, taking Lejla in his arms and then laying her on the bed, and he lay on top of her, not stopping kissing her.

"Neslihan," Ayse Hanim entered the chambers of Neslihan and surprised her that she came here. Neslihan bowed to her, because she did not want to damage the relationship with her mother-in-law who was older than her, considering that even her husband did not love her, she had to be in a good relationship with someone.

"Since my son has some responsibilities, it wouldn't be nice if you spend all days alone. I want to show you Crimea and our palace, and teach you some rules you probably don't know yet," Ayse said coldly.

"I overheard your conversation with Layla," Ayse said after the two of them left the chambers and walked around the palace.

"That's why you want to teach me some rules?" Neslihan asked her. She expected that her mother-in-law would chastise her for her actions, but Neslihan did not let anyone dictate her behavior.

"Quite the opposite, I think you did the right thing and showed her where she belongs," Ayse put on a light smile for which she didn't even bother to notice if it was just a lie, or if she was really telling the truth.

"I know she won't give up your son, but I as Sultania can't allow anyone to tarnish my pride and my honour," Neslihan said boldly, actually surprising Ayse who expected Neslihan to be a fragile and innocent girl who would submit to everyone and obey everyone's orders.

"I got the wrong impression about you in Istanbul, I like that you have a strong character. But the world works differently here than in your palace," Ayse says with a slightly evil smile.

Ayse was a woman who was feared by all the servants in the palace, but also by some people outside the palace. She was ready to give everything for her son and would never allow someone to hurt him, but her son made decisions on his own that hurt him and she couldn't do anything about it.

For example, Ayse was not satisfied with Mehmed's behavior towards Neslihan. She knew that her son was playing with fire and that he would not forget Leyla so easily, but his bad behavior towards his wife only benefited the state, so she decided that she would at least try to smooth over the relationship so that the young bride would not complain to Istanbul.

"I don't think anyone who lives inside the palace walls can fail to build their character, because life teaches us that," Neslihan said until she could understand what her mother-in-law was really trying to achieve with this conversation.

"Even if Mehmed continues to have something with Lejla, you cannot do anything about it. He is the Crimean khan, and as a rule he can have his own harem. He respects you enough to wait for you to be ready for a relationship, and then let him give him an heir, until then, he can have as much fun with Leyla as he wants because she's taking pills that won't get her pregnant and won't cause you any problems," Ayse says.

Neslihan finally understood what the point of everything was, how Ayse was trying to get closer to her just so that she would not complain to her cousin Sultan about all these events.

"So he's allowed to have someone else he loves and I'm not?" Neslihan raised an eyebrow and asked his mother-in-law, who was surprised by her question.

"Women can't have their own harem, honey," Ayse began to laugh at Neslihana's words.

"I'm not talking about a harem. If he can be with someone he loves, then so can I. We can divorce right now, no one wants this marriage anyway," Neslihan said, looking Ayse in the eyes seriously. For the first time, Ayse actually felt fear from the threats of Neslihan, whom she thought could not cause her any problems, but she obviously misjudged her a lot.

"You are the wife of the Crimean Khan and there must not be any other man in your heart!" Ayse lashed out at Neslihan in anger, hoping to scare her, but she couldn't do that at all.

"Also your son is the husband of Ottoman Sultana and he is not allowed to even look at any other woman," Neslihan said with a sour smile on her face.

"Numan Bey, please escort our Sultana to her chambers where she should spend her time rather than threat around," Ayse Hanim ordered to a man which was serving her and her son Mehmed for a long time ago. He was a young man around the age of Mehmed, who was no eunuch but normal servant of the Khan, but also his warrior.

Numan seemed to find himself in an awkward situation where he can't say anything to Sultana, but also can't disrespect the order of Ayse Hanim, who was the most powerful woman in this palace.

"There was no threat, Ayse Hanim, I am just telling you the truth you can't accept," Neslihan said with so much of hate in her eyes towards her mother-in-law. She started to walk away to her chambers, but Ayse Hanim ordered Numan Bey to go with her.

"Neslihan Sultan, I want to say something to you that I think you should know," Numan Bey said as Neslihan Sultan came to the doors of her chambers, as he was following her for the whole time.

"What is it?" She asked him.

"You shouldn't be in bad relationship with Ayse Hanim, she is ready to do anything for the sake of her family, especially for the sake of her son Mehmed Khan. She can do really bad things," Numan said first thing which wasn't so bad, because he had two things to tell to a Sultana and he felt ashamed in this moment to tell her what he has seen.

"Is that all?" Neslihan asked him as she didn't want to listen to those things. She knew Numan Bey is her close servant and she obviously ordered him to tell her those things, and she didn't need any advices because she thought herself alone she knows enough to survive in this palace she hated already.

"There is one more thing, but I don't know how to tell that to you," Numan said as it was really awkward situation. Neslihan realised it and nodded to all of men who were standing there at the door to go somewhere away, because obviously it was something risky he had to say to her.

"Your husband is cheating on you right now in his mansion, with Leyla Hanim. I was there and-" Numan started to say and Neslihan just sighed.

"Why do you need to tell me the things I already know?" She asked him and raised her head, even though she didn't know those things, she didn't want to seem hurt in front of anyone else.

Yes, she might not love her husband but when she heard other people around telling things like this it hurt her pride.

"Sultanim, I... I didn't know you knew it," Numan Bey said trying to apologise to Sultana, even though he wasn't sure if she actually knew that. At that moment Ahmed Bey, who worked in palace, came there and saw a situation where Neslihan Sultan didn't seem to be feeling really well.

"Sultanim," Ahmed bowed to her and Neslihan nodded at him trying not to look at him so much because she didn't want in front of others to show the weakness she was feeling for this man.

"Numan Bey, is there any problem?" Ahmed asked him as he stood between the two who were talking. Numan Bey looked at another side when Ahmed came, because Ahmed was his superior for a rank and he could order him things to do.

"I was talking to Sultana about important matter," Numan said.

"If it's not that important, I came here as I must take Sultana outside for one matter," Ahmed said and smiled to Neslihan and then waited to see what will Numan say.

"It's important-" Numan started to talk, but Neslihan interrupted him.

"It's nothing important, we can go Ahmed Bey," Neslihan said walking away with Ahmed Bey outside as there was something she had to do outside.

Numan felt bad at this moment, because he wanted Neslihan to open her eyes and tell her the truth, but he just felt humiliated on her part, on the part of Ahmed who had been working in the palace since recently. He knew that Ahmed was an Ottoman, and he knew that he probably realized how uncomfortable Neslihan was at this moment and therefore went to save her from an unpleasant conversation, but Numan was disappointed because he wanted Neslihan to know everything that her husband works behind her back.
