The rock underneath JoJo was broken and JoJo landed on his feet. The men were waiting for him.

   ' He's their main target. '

I started squirming in Dio's hold. I saw Speedwagon lift up his shirt and place Zeppeli's arm on his abs to heat up. The warriors lept at JoJo.

   " Zoom punch! " I heard him yell.

The warrior's hair wrapped around JoJo's hand and I could tell that was how he fed off of people. I could see JoJo was trapped and he couldn't use his Hamon. The biggest warriors pulled out his thick blade and raised it above his head.

   " If I remove this ice from your mouth will you talk with me and not use your Hamon? "

I nodded my head and the ice that was once around my mouth was gone. I took a deep breath of air and breathed in the cool night air.

   " How are you feeling? "

   " When did you suddenly care? "

   " I've always cared. Think of it like this, JoJo is your real enemy and not me. "

   " What? How? "

   " He, can press here on your birthmark and send you away, can't he? He is the only man alive that can do that to you. You will be better off with me where he can't press on it with his fingers. "

I looked up at him and I saw his gaze focused on something. One of his arms held me to his chest while his other held one of my bandaged arms.

   " One of your minions attacked us. He marked me instead of JoJo. "

   " I stepped in so JoJo wouldn't get hurt, it was my decision. "

   " Why would you stand in for him? "

   " Because I am the Joestar family protector, sister to the Speedwagon family, and best friend to the Zeppeli household, it is my destiny to help them. No matter if I get harmed or not. "

   " That angers me, my dear, to hear you say that. "

   " Well, it's the truth. I would rather tell you that instead of a lie. It's still hard to see you like this, Dio. "

I saw JoJo punch his hand that was being held by the hair and the hair evaporated.

   " That power... " I whispered.

   ' Could I do that? '

I saw a zombie appear behind him and he hadn't noticed.

   " JoJo, behind you! " I screamed.

He turned around but before he could defend himself Tarukus pushed the zombie away.

   ' They want to fight with JoJo with no interruptions. Tarukus seems to be an honorable man. he wants an honorable fight with JoJo. Even if I were to go down there and help him they would be focused on JoJo only. '

   " Me lord Dio, in the young man, I do sense a great reservoir of spirit. I humbly petition you for the right to face him in sole combat and strike him down. " Tarukus yelled up at us.

   " As you will, then. " Dio said back to him.

I watched as the big warrior put his sword down and Tarukus walked towards JoJo. I saw the hair he had on his head travel to his sword on his back.

   " His hair wields the sword, JoJo! " I screamed down to them.

My information wasn't delayed until it was too late. JoJo was knocked back by the sword. The big guy stood behind Zeppeli and Speedwagon making sure they didn't interrupt the fight. 

   " I will go. Here, there is nothing left to see. And now I will transform this sleepy village into a necropolis. The zombies I create will devour England like a plague,  with the world soon to follow. "

I felt the rock ground disappear from underneath my feet. I realized that Dio was flying with me in his hold.

   " Dio let me go, I have to help! "

   " No, you won't. I detest seeing you with JoJo and without feeling your touch for this long has driven me insane. I can't let you out of my grasp again. "

His lips met with my cheek and he kissed my skin. I looked up at him and saw his eyes soften when my E/c eyes found his golden ones.

   " Dio..."

   ' I'm going to have to use my Hamon to get out of this. '

   " ...I'm sorry. "

   ' I need to use the same overdrive if I want to get out of his hold. I only have one shot at this, so I need to get it right. '

   " Scarlet overdrive! "

I felt the Hamon travel through my body and the sparks that emitted from me were scarlet red. I heard Dio hiss and after a few minutes of holding me, he dropped me. I landed back on the rock platform where I once stood.

   " Y/n... "

   " I'm sorry Dio. I really am. I won't fight you here, not now. Your fight is with JoJo I will only be there to defend and fight with him. I will take his injuries on myself. Now is not the time for us to fight. I will not fight you here. "

I saw him smile a little before I slid down the rock tower and towards Zeppeli and Speedwagon. I met with them and stood at the edge of the water.

   " Y/n you have to help him! " Speedwagon begged.

   " I can't. Tarukus wanted an honorable battle and if I disrupt it will no longer be honorable. I've learned when to pick my battles and I should not include myself here. "
