I felt pain go through my body and I felt something soft underneath me. I slowly opened my eyes and saw a ceiling I didn't recognize. I quickly tried to sit up but I felt pain consume my body and I laid back down with a groan.

   " Y/n! "

I looked to my left and saw Speedwagon sitting in a chair next to me. He stood up and made his way over to me. I noticed his arm was in a wrap around his neck and he was walking with a cane. He sat on the side of my bed and set his cane to lean against the bed. He held my hand and rubbed his thumb across the knuckles of my hand.

   " How are you feeling? "

   " I feel like my body is exploding with pain. "

   " Well, little miss, you did fall from the top of the manor and onto your back. "

   " Yeah, I did. How is your arm and how is JoJo? "

   " My arm isn't bad, it's just sprained a little is all. JoJo woke up not too long ago. "

   " Really? "

   " Yes, and it seems the nurse taking care of him is an old friend of his. "

   " What's the name of the nurse? "

   " Erina Pendleton. She's been taking care of JoJo around the clock and her fingers are red and damp from taking care of his wounds."

   " She is an old lover of JoJo's. "

   " Really? That's why she's taking care of him with such haste. "

   " Yeah. "

You don't know why but you felt sad knowing Erina came back into the picture. To be honest, when the two were younger they would treat you like a third wheel and leave you on your own and you didn't want that to happen again. You also deduced you felt sad because of what JoJo said before flinging you off of the building.

   ' He said he loved me. Maybe he meant it in a brotherly way. I'm not his sister but...it still hurts a little to think like that. '

   " Why so glum? You should be happy! You are awake along with JoJo and that demon is defeated. "

   " Yeah, I'm happy, I just don't know about Erina and JoJo. "

   " What do you mean? "

   " Well, last time they were together they dragged me to their dates and then left me alone. I don't want to be alone again. "

   " You won't have to worry about that. You'll have me from now on. To be honest with ya little miss I see you as a sister. So, with me, you won't ever be alone. "

   " Thank you, Speedwagon. I see you as a big brother. " I said with a small smile

   " I'm glad. I hope you know Since I see you as a little sister I will treat you like one. Just a little warnin. "

   " Thanks for the warning. " I said smiling even brighter.

We continued to joke until he left saying I should be asleep since it was the middle of the night. I told him goodbye and closed my eyes and got comfortable on the bed to fall asleep. With the wrappings around my entire torse and stomach, it was hard to fall asleep but I managed to do it. When I woke up I found Erina setting a tray of food beside my bed. She looked up at me in surprise.

   " Y/n! I'm so glad you are awake. "

   " Erina, it's nice to see you! Can you please help me sit up? "

   " I can. "

She walked to my side and started helping me sit up. When I managed to sit she set the tray on my lap and I looked down to my leg and saw that my right foot was wrapped.

   " Is my foot broken? "

   " I'm afraid so. I wrapped it when you arrived but it will take a long time to heal. "

   " Okay, thank you for helping us. "

   " Anything for you and JoJo. JoJo is awake if you would like me to bring him down here. "

   " Yes, please. "

   " Alright, I'll go get him. "

   " Thank you. "

Erina left me and I started eating my food. In a few seconds, Erina appeared back in the room with JoJo following behind her. JoJo smiled when he saw me in the bed.

   " Y/n! "

He walked over to my bedside and hugged me gently. He set me back on the bed and pulled a chair up to my side of the bed.

   " I'm glad to see you're okay besides your ankle. "

   " Thanks, JoJo. I'm glad to see you aren't to badly injured. Have you eaten? "

   " I have. After you're done do you want to come on a walk with me to the manor? We can see if there's anything left. "

   " Sure, that sounds nice. "

   " Alright, I'll leave you to eat. "

   " Okay. "

JoJo left and I continued to eat. When I finished eating Erina helped me get changed into some clothes. She washed my leggings and she handed me a shirt to put on. She said she requested a shirt be made and it was a bit big on me but it worked.

I found some shoes and started to walk out of my room. Erina gave me a cane but I denied it and walked on my own. I met with JoJo and we started walking to the destroyed manor.
