As the sweat pours down from my forehead, I grunted as I passed the ball to Jackson who is halfway across to the other side of the soccer field. Successfully dribbling the ball with his feet without Zack or Liam intercepting, he kicks it with high velocity, sending it directly to the goal with impressive accuracy. "Dang..." Zack muttered with amazement as he had bent down with hands-on knees to catch his breath. Due to no planned activities during this day of PE, our instructor decided to give us free time in our hands which we ironically used to just play soccer while the other kids took advantage to use their phones.

After a few rounds, we decided to take a break as the four of us laid around together in the field of fake grass, "so, how's your army of guests?" I said, turning to Liam who has himself down completely relaxed.

"Going great! I've got about twelve convinced without including you guys even," he grinned. I guess it wasn't much of a surprise that he could persuade a bunch considering his charisma and influence. It isn't really common for there to be a house party announced, but it seems that a few kids want the thrill. "I'm considering asking a few more..." Liam tapped his chin.

"Geez, how many more do you want?" Zack gave him a look of disbelief.

"Who knows, just in case those who I generously invited don't actually turn up as they promise will have others coming in," he nods, "plus, I paid Taylor a few bucks to help cater in advance," he grinned. Jackson, Zack, and I collectively sighed on how impulsively idiotic our friend could be.

Walking around the halls, I encountered Noah accompanied by a few of his friends. Walking up to him from behind with a smile, I gave a surprise tight hug which he slightly jumped in shock for a moment. Noah looked immensely alarmed, Kate having to swiftly stash away whatever she had on her hands while James and Felix stifled laughter. "What's going on?" I smirked unaware of what is going on as my chin rested upon my boyfriend's head. A surge of awkward silence caused their eyes to land on Kate who was shuffling on her spot. As if desperate, I could feel Noah shaking his head in disfavor as he looked at her. An ominous look generates on her face, "wouldn't it be a tease if Brad doesn't get a scoop of it?" She raised her phone and I was mildly muddled on what she meant.

"On what?" I tilted my head.

By the time Kate could mutter a single word, Noah took my hand and rushed me away from them. I was truly intrigued by what she meant with her revealing some relevance to her phone. Noah just dismissed it quickly but I could tell there was something odd since his ears were so red. "Uhh, she's annoying me recently," he ends with a huff while we take a pause, "do you wanna do something for a while?" He asks.

Feeling the temperatures rising in early spring and after PE, I wanted something to cool me off, "Ice cream?" I said as an idea.

"Sounds nice!" He nodded approvingly. I reached my hand to slide mine into his and I walked both of us out of here to the parking lot. Sometimes I wished Noah would let me pick him up from his house so I could drive him home as well in the afternoon, but then he wouldn't be able to take his friends home too; although, we have school buses for that reason. I let out a sigh as I watched Noah part from me to enter his car and I went to mine. I told him that he can go ahead to the park we visited from the weekends while I head to a convenience store to get us ice cream. Noah says that he prefers strawberry or plain vanilla. I watched as he drove first and I soon followed then. Separating, later on, I scouted around town for a store in minutes before settling into one. I parked my truck and got off. With the bell ringing when I opened the door, I walked in and was embraced by its cooling air conditioning. I let out a silent moan as I felt how nice the faint breeze was. I looked around to discover the frozen treats displayed on the transparent fridges. Taking out two cups of both strawberry and vanilla, I figured it that way so I can have the other if he picks either. Maybe we can even share. Purchasing the items, I held the plastic bag in hand and drove to Noah who should be waiting in the park.

Seeing Noah's vehicle settled as expected, I rested my own truck next to his and looked around for him. Confused, He was nowhere in sight to be seen. The place is pretty open with only a few trees and other amenities in the center. Thinking that he was playing a prank, I circled around to search for him, alas, he isn't anywhere. I wondered if he could be at the bridge so I did so and hiked a few steps on the dirt path to where it is. After a while, I did find him there, just not how I was expecting him to be seen.

He was scarily close to falling. Standing. standing near the edge and I felt uncomfortably worried that if he made a dangerous wrong move, he could end his life. Noah sees me, and an impish smirk made way to his expression. He does a daring motion, letting one of his foot hang off with no platform above. "Noah, what the fuck are you doing?!" I went pale and yelled at him with wide eyes. He was teasing me horribly that I could have pissed myself. With great relief, he took a couple of steps away with safe distance, falls on his butt, and began laughing with his back laid on the wooden surface. Rushing over to him, I got on my knees and gave him a bone-crushing bear hug with a growl, "never fucking do that again," I ordered him in a lowly voice, yet he still has the audacity to be howling in mischief. He nearly gave me a heart attack.

This naughty boy...
