History, the only period that I have Brad with. I am still very nervous about my situation with him. I've been trying not to make any eye contact as possible as I could. Gosh, this is so awkward. "Alright everyone, I hope that you all are aware of the quiz on Monday. I recommend that you utilize the weekends and study. If you are done with your work, you are welcome to use your phones, talk quietly to each other, or study," Mr. Masson announced as he sat down in front of his computer to probably work on our assessment for next week. I noticed that James, who is in my class, busy talking to his other "girl" friends, and I'm not really up to join the conversation. He's probably talking about makeup and fashion, and also likely to be gossiping. Not really my cup of tea, but it's just him being him. Sighing, I contemplated what there is to do. I feel really confident that this quiz could be aced, but maybe reviewing just a little bit won't hurt. Maybe I can ask Annabel to come to my place and study?

"Hey Noah," I hear a voice. I look to my left to see a big figure standing that I for some reasons didn't notice while I was in a daze. I looked up to meet the person's eyes and instantly tensed. Oh gosh, it's Brad again.

"U-umm, Yes?" I managed to croak out. I watched him turn around to look behind him. Taylor, who I'm sure is one of his friends, gave him a thumbs up in both hands. Brad returns to look at me and sighs with a tinge of anxiety. He rubs the back of his neck and starts to speak, "I umm, was wondering. I really don't have a good grade in this class, and I was thinking: is it okay to ask you if you could... uhh... help tutor me this weekend? You're a very smart guy, so I wanted to ask you," he sounded pretty bashful. I felt my heart starting to race faster as every second passed. I glanced over to look at James who was now looking at me. He for some reason looks excited like some kind of fangirl, then makes a gesture that signals me to, "go with it." Is he really telling me to accept it? After a few seconds, I decided to offer my help, "Sure Brad," I murmured. Brad's eyes glimmered and a huge grin formed on his face. He looks back again to check on Taylor who gave him an approving nod. Why does it seem like others wants us to interact with each other so badly? "That's awesome! Would you like to come over to my place? Or should I go to yours? Or maybe meet up somewhere?" He starts bombarding questions on to me.

"Uhh... I guess we could study at your house. If that's okay with you," I said, gently scratching my cheek with my finger. I noticed him blush, his mouth tightened as the corners of his mouth went inwards, "great! That's totally fine with me! Okay, hold on, I'll write down my address for you," he said and walked straight back to his desk. I could feel the amount of air filling my lungs as I just now realize that I was holding in my breath. His presence just seems to make me feel weird. Usually, people would act so cool and collected to impress him, but I on the other hand, can't seem to do so. "So what was that about?" James suddenly appeared next to me which was startling a bit.

"Oh! He just asked if I could help teach him for the quiz on Monday," I replied. James let out a small squeal, which I didn't know he could do that.

"I'm so jealous," he said.

"Why?" I raised my eyebrow at him.

"What do you mean, 'why?' One of the hottest guys in school just asked you if you could teach him. It would be an honor. Just look at him..." he said pointing at Brad's direction. I turned to look at him who seems to be writing on a piece of paper. "...he's so handsome, he's so built, his amazing clear eyes, his facial hair makes him looks rugged and manly..."

"Okay James, you're making this sound weird," I pouted at him, trying to quench his thirst. Brad straightened up from his desk and starting walking back to me with a piece of paper in hand. He notices James who is still next to me. "I'll let you guys talk alone," James said as he went back to the girls. At the moment, the group of girls was looking at me with different expressions. Brad stopped in front of me and lent me the piece of paper, "here ya go," he said with a wink. I took it from him with both hands.

"Uhh... thanks," I said.

"Lunchtime, remember, yeah?" He said with a smirk. I nodded timidly. He gives me a soft smile before returning to his seat. Watching Taylor and Brad have five each other. I sighed and slouched forward onto my desk then groaned. I guess I should just tell him that I am not exactly interested? I really do hope I don't break his heart badly. I wonder if he would still like to be my study partner after the rejection. I slipped the piece of paper into my pocket and pulled out my current book out of my bag to read.

It is now the beginning of lunch and I am headed towards the cafeteria with James and Felix. "You know, you two would seem really cute together. The height difference is so adorable," James kept talking about it like a proud mother wanting to know more about the child's first crush.

"Oh my gosh, stop," I covered my face to conceal my tomato cheeks.

"Wait, does Noah have a boyfriend?" Felix turned to James with a questioning look.

"It's Brad," James quickly replied.

"Wait! For real!" Felix sounded so surprised.

"He's not my boyfriend!" I yelled out, bringing lots of attention from other students to us. I froze for a moment and just sped walk to get out of the scene. Felix and James rush over to me. We opened the doors to the cafeteria and entered.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I'm going to be sat on Brad's table for today."
