"I-I'll think about it..." Noah uttered.

W-wha? I froze for a bit, shocked momentarily. I noticed him packing away his stuff. "What?" Sounding worried as he got up from his seat and started walking away from me.

"See you later," he said as he started increasing the speed of his steps.

"Wait, Noah!" I desperately wanted to catch his retreating body. Trailing as I jogged to get closer to him, "can you really not just tell me now?" I said, but it only seemed to make him want to distance away from me further.

"I have a meeting to attend to, I'll tell you my answer later," he said, though he had already sprinting to get away. I stood motionless in one spot.

It would be lying if I said that my feelings didn't ache just a bit by now. A little bit of my pride just shriveled. M-maybe he's just shy? Yeah. I'm sure that's the reason. Although, when I've asked girls, they usually would just automatically say 'yes' without hesitation, even the ones that seem awkward and ask their friends to be messengers for them.

"Gah!" I yelled out of frustration. Running my hand through my hair I had almost accidentally pulled a few off. I heaved a big heavy sigh and groaned. People are starting to come to school and I gritted my teeth as I just started walking to my first class even though the bell hasn't rung yet. Right now, It's just not a mood to be talking to anyone.

"Why hello Brad I didn't expect you to come so early," my biology teacher, Mrs. Rober said as she saw me walk in.

"Uhh... yeah, I'm just gonna stay here for a while," I said and sat down on my desk. Geez, one of the downsides for being big in size were that these seats can be so constricting for me. It's like they can only accommodate for fuckin' midgets. My teacher watched me for a moment before resuming to her laptop to do some work. I placed my elbow on my desk and rested my chin onto my hand, only then am I now realizing that my scruffy stubble is growing back. I haven't shaved in a while and I kind of have two reasons for leaving it so: one, is because "some" people find facial hair attractive, right? Two, I'm actually just kinda lazy to cut it off. My thoughts were interrupted when I noticed that one of my friends, Andrea, entered the room. "Oh, hey Brad," she said with a wave. She sat down at the chair behind me which is where her assigned seat is anyway. "Are you here to study for our quiz later?" she asked.

My head turned quickly to face her when she mentioned about a quiz partaking later, "wait? There's a quiz in biology?!" certainly sounding surprised.

Her eyebrow raised and her expression had the most sassiest look written on her face, "Umm yeah? She told us yesterday. Also, I think Mr. Masson's history class has one on Monday as well," she said.

"Oh shit!" A disastrous yell expelled out as I bit my bottom lip.

"Language!" Mrs. Rober scolded me.

Fuck, I'm definitely screwed. I really haven't been paying any attention to class at all. Damn, if I really don't get my grades up, I won't be able to participate in any sports activities. I crossed my arms on my desk and face planted onto it. "Oh, Brad..." the sound of Andrea's voice sounded sympathetically.

Biology was a mess. The quiz didn't have any multiple-choice questions and I got about only forty percent right. The worst thing is, people were so eager to find out what everybody got and they somehow manage to find out my grade. A few kids were about to snicker and laugh but I shut them up by sending them a glare. Nosey bastards. I swear I'm not "that" dumb, just a small inconvenience is all.

After then, Mathematics went somewhat fine. I manage to get an average grade of about eighty-five percent.

Thank gosh. Later, our teacher in health class said that at the moment we won't be provided any work so most of the time we were just messing around.

And finally, my next class is history, which I have been informed by Andrea that there will be an upcoming quiz next week. Another thing to look forward is that Noah is in the same class as me. Maybe I could ask him again there.

Because of the seating arrangement, I am positioned at the far left of the room while Noah is on the very right side. I couldn't help but look at him and appreciate his looks.

Gosh. He looks so damn adorable.

"What?" I hear a voice next to me. I turned to my left side to look at Taylor, another one of my pals looking at me.

"What? I didn't say anything..." did I actually unwillingly murmur it out loud without realizing? He looked at me for a moment, then leaned forward a bit and eyed past me, which I am assuming he was looking at Noah. His eyes then started darting back and forth from him then to me, and it seems he was able to click the pieces together so quickly in no time. "Ah, I think I know what this is about," he said.

Shit. I felt myself blushing and scoffed immediately. "What?" I growled at him.

"You like him don't yah?" He said, nudging his head towards the referred angel. I didn't say anything to him, but only gave him a piercing glare and kept my mouth shut.

"Okay okay, you can stop looking at me like a creepy pedo," he joked and chuckled. I rolled my eyes at him and slid down on my seat while inserting my hands into the pockets of my jersey jacket. "Look, dude, it's fine. I don't care, and honestly, I don't think anyone in this school would really care if you like... ahem. But my point is, you're pretty much the king of this place, no one's going to stop you if you're crushing over the boy over there," he said. I glanced over at Noah who seems to be trying hard not to stare at my direction. I sighed and looked at Taylor. I smiled at him, "Thanks Tay-"

"Mr. Brad and Mr. Taylor, attention please!" Our history teacher Mr. Masson called us. We quickly straightened our backs and looked at him with attentiveness, "y-yes! Sorry Mr. Masson," we both said in unison.
