The silence was killing me as I watched Mimi make a fresh batch of tea.

The old woman was aware of Youta and I have an open relationship byt she was always very harsh when it came to who we dated. She wanted someone that her expectations perfectly.

Like they couldn't be just a fuckbuddy and they had to be able to handle my mood swings properly with Youta. They had to know some medical procedures since I'm clumsy and Youta's line of work is dangerous.

Wait...

Okay, nothing to worry. I'm not on the verge of squealing because Kyoya seems fit all of Mimi's expectations.

Kyoya wasn't just a fuckbuddy. Far as I was concerned, Kyoya didn't want sex. He knew how to handle my disorder properly. And he had a ton of medical knowledge since his family owns a whole hospital.

Kyoya was perfect.

"So, what did you come here to tell me?" Mimi asked, as she set the teacups down on the table.

Youta looked at me nervously, rubbing his thumb over the back of my hand, "Well, it's about our relationship..."

Her eyes widened, "Are you two breaking up?"

"No way!" I exclaimed, squishing Youta's  hand, "This is about adding someone else to our relationship..."

I watched her face change from a worried mother to a stern mother. I knew that Mimi meant well and just wanted the best for us. She had beared witness to one of our bad relationships and became very protective after that.

"You boys know my rules," She said with a frown. She took a quick sip of her tea, "Does he fit?"

"Yes, he fits perfectly," I replied, letting out a blissful sigh.

"He's stayed with Kazu through his episodes before, " Youta continued, "Actually, his family owns a hospital."

"Which one?" Mimi asked quizzically.

"The Ootori Group Hospital."

The Ootori Group was one of the most well known and influential groups in Japan. Their Healthcare was top notch and the service they gave was incredible.

Mimi had to love him after hearing that.

"So, you're telling you both fell for a rich boy?"

"Mimi, he's not just a rich boy!" I groaned, placing my head in my hands.

"I'll see that for myself, " She huffed, drinking the rest of her tea, "When are you bringing him over?"

"Today actually, " Youta replied, setting his already empty cup down.

"I asked him out on a date with Youta and I so we planned to take him to the observatory that Junta's family owns! " I smiled, kissing Youta's cheek.

"Why didn't you tell me all this earlier? " The older woman gasped, standing up quickly, "I need to get ready!"

"Mimi, we still have to go pick him up, you have plenty of time, " Youta  reassured her as we watched her rush around the house, fixing oddities.

"Not enough time!"

On that note, Youta and I left to go pick up Kyoya, hoping silently that he could handle Mimi's motherly protective measures.

While I watched trees pass by, Youta's placed a comforting hand on my thigh, "Don't worry, I'm sure she'll love him. "

For Kyoya's sake, I hope so.
