It's a story Cora knows all too well—not because it's her own, but that of her character in Illicit Affairs, the murderous romance that's about to take Broadway by storm. It's her crowning achievement, her pride and joy, and she's its figurehead – the alluring, sultry, and mysterious leading lady.

She's almost ready for opening night. She's perfected it all – how to angle herself when she kisses him so that the stage lights hit their bodies just right; the way her lips are supposed to feel on his, soft at first and then increasingly wanting.

There's just one tiny problem. As their first performance looms, she's still not sure if she has the willpower to convincingly play lover to a man she hates.

Or if she can keep doing it once she realizes what she's feeling for him isn't hate anymore.

Welcome to The Imitation Game! Theatre is very near and dear to my heart, so I'm thrilled to finally be writing an original story centered around it.

I enjoy exploring mental health and familial relationships in my books, so although I try not to write about anything in explicit detail, some sensitive topics will be approached. My character's opinions do not represent my own.

Important Note: please keep in mind that this being an enemies to lovers story means that both of our main characters are going to say/do some very mean things toward each other in the first half of the book. And while it makes my author heart very happy to see my readers get mad at both of them because it means I'm doing my job well, I don't appreciate anyone calling Cora's actions "excessive" or "annoying" while simultaneously letting the equally terrible things that Rasmus does slide. Double standards against women aren't going to be tolerated in my comments section. Thank you!
