Cecelia

I fill Jamie in on the whole River and Tate situation he was apparently 'Team Tate' with Cole whatever that was. After we finish eating Jamie pays the bill completely ignoring Cole and I's protesting. 

Jamie drives Cole home while I find my own way back although neither of them wanted to leave me alone I reassured them I'd be fine.

It was nice long and relaxing drive with Jhene Aiko playing the whole way home.

I call River back after I park up in the garage considering he'd called me at least 10 times since I left Pete's. "Hey what's up?" I ask locking the doors and walking towards the house "Hey what's up is that all? Ive been so worried about you" he says sounding like he was my dad or something "I had a spare last period and I caught up with some friends" I reply as I walk up towards the side entrance to the kitchen "Okay well I'm glad you're safe I was just worried that's all" I still got butterflies hearing him say that "Well I'm sorry for worrying you" I reply as I walk up the stairs to my room.

River and I talk for a few hours on the phone before he says he has to go help his mum out with her work dinner for the rest of the night. "Okay well tell I said Hi" he just laughs a little before replying "Will do" I hang up after our goodbyes and take a hot bath. I still couldn't shake the weird feeling I got from Cole when were at Pete's he was so...jumpy maybe he was just tired. I sit in the bath on my phone scrolling though my playlist when I get an incoming call from Bianca "Hey Lia" she says chirpier than usual "Hey B" I reply now sitting up "I know this probably a silly question but I was wondering if you wanted to come with the girls and I to-" I cringe my face before she even finished the sentence "To Audrey's party I know you don't get along and I know how bad the other one was for you but I think it's time we make our debut as a group people hardly realise we're friends let alone bestfriends" I bite my lip looking as my toes bob up and down in the water "I just need to double check something I'll call you back" I say wanting to call Cole "Okay call me back soon" she squeals into the phone. I chuckle a little before hanging up and putting in Coles number. I listen as the dial tone rings very shortly before his energetic voice picks up "Hey" he says chirpy as always "Hey" I reply with my hopeful smile showing in my voice "Sorry to be a bother I know I only saw you not long ago but I was wondering... did you want to go to-" he cuts me off "Please don't say Audrey's party" he moans "Errrr" I groan into the phone "I'm afraid so" I say unsure of his answer now "Lia why would you want to go there they're all a bunch of A holes to you" I roll my eyes knowing what he was saying was the voice of reasons "BUT on the other hand it is a chance for me to see you get all dressed up and out of your hood so I'm in" he says with excitement in his voice "Me too" I hear Jamie chirp in from the background. Huh I hadn't realised they were still together "Okay well I'll see you guys there" I say glad they were coming "Dont be silly we'll come pick you up Jaime doesn't drink often so he'll drive us home" I shake my head and laugh "I'm not planning on drinking either" I reply "Great then you can keep me company" Jamie says taking the phone "It would be my honour" I say in a fake British accent "see you there m'lady" Jaime replies "see ya" I reply hanging up the phone.

I finish my bath off before walking back out into my room to find some last minute clothes. I sift through my closet finding Jeans and more jeans. I sit on my bed exhausted from school and going out and now I had to go to a party. I unlock my phone to see it was going on to 7. I bite my lip contemplating whether to take a nap or not. It didn't start until 10 and it'd only take me an hour max to get ready. I decide to throw my dressing gown on and take a nap in my bed.

I quickly flick a text to Bianca letting her know id meet them at the entrance before drifting off into my nap.

"Lia...Lia" i hear the echo of a little girls voice. W-why was the room shaking? Oh no that wasn't the room it was just me due to the little girl pushing at my side "Lia wake up" Liv says grunting in frustration "What is it?" I say opening my eyes slowly "Sewgio said you have a guest" she says rubbing her eyes holding her teddy bear Gingerbread in her hands. This girl had a thing for naming things after food "Who is it?" I ask her now sitting up in my bed shrugs her shoulders before skipping back to her room. I swipe my blankets off anxious wondering who could be at the door. I slide down the stairs to the door to reveal Jamie and Cole leaning on Jamie's car "What's going on party girl?" Cole says
standing straight "Oh shit" I say putting my hand to my mouth realising I over slept "You said a bad word Cece" Liv says from the top of the stairs "Bad word Cece" Jamie says shaking my head. I narrow my eyes at him before apologising to Liv. I invite them inside desperate for them to help me find something to wear "I think it's better if you ask Jamie I'm hopeless with this stuff" Cole says as they follow me up to my room.

"What are these clothes how can you have this house and only have this much clothes" Jamie says sifting through my wardrobe "Well...." I bite my lip looking across the hall "What is it?" He asks "I have another closet but you can't go too extreme okay I'm not ready to fully be Cecelia I just want to abolish the freaky Lenny title and have fun with my friends got it?" I say being a little more demanding than usual "Promise" Jamie says beaming "Well alright then" I say leading them across the hall to my Cecelia closet.

Their jaws drop as I open the double doors to my walk in closet "Oh please" I say shaking my head at them "now this is what I'm talking about" Jamie says walking through and picking clothes out as if he were in a clothing store. I sit on the little white couch in centre of the closet waiting for them to finish debating over what I should wear.

Liv and I were on our sixth round of Rock Paper Scissors when they finally agreed on an outfit "And the winner is..." Jamie says dramatically turning as Cole does a drumroll on the wall "Rose gold dress number 406" he says revealing the dress August bought me while she was in Paris. I smile liking their choice considering I'd never worn it out and it was dressy but not too revealing. I take it from their hands and laugh walking next door into a mini changing room my dad added over the summer.

I throw the dress in and I must say it fit different in a lot of places and was much shorter now than the 16 year old body I had when I got it.

I walk out folding my arms over my chest. Cole and Jamie whistle nudging eachother as I walked out "Are you guys sure?" I says pulling the dress down at bottom "Smokin" Liv says clicking her fingers at me "Yeah what she said" Cole says giving me the up down. I laugh nudging at his side "Come on you look good and your hairs suits it so it's settled you're wearing that and we're going" Cole says tilting his head in the mirror "Yeah we better get going" Jamie says pulling out his keys.

I sit down and slip in my nude stewpot heels before giving Liv cuddles and kisses saying goodbye to her and Sergio. Sergio warns me about keeping safe before letting me step outside of the house. I hardly saw my father so Sergio was the closest thing I had.

We get in the car and listen to what Cole. called his pre party playlist on the way to Audrey's families house.
