Chaeyoung stared at the date on her phone. She only has a week and she'll be back in Korea. I must get things to it's rightful places before I go. She thought. Heaving a sigh Mina noticed the solemn air around her lover. She has been observing Chaeyoung's behavior since that night. From the subtle gestures of the girl she knows there is something wrong. It must be something confidential that the cub can't tell her. Nako already gave her the information about Somi and she's right there is something fishy going on behind those smiles of Jeon. She discovered that her business wasn't so clean and legal as it is. With the use of her connections, they managed to dig the illegal doings of Chayeoung's friend. A firearm trade she found. Still that doesn't gave her proof that the girl were planning something bad for her lover.

Mina watched as Chaeyoung excused herself to her office. She's not used to the vibe Chaeyoung has been giving her. It somehow makes her feel worried and afraid. Chaeyoung stood and goes out of the office and drag herself to the rooftop. She started texting Somi.

I need you to do something.

What?

Continue with your plan.

Have you gone mad?! They're going to kill you!

Chae your father is a damn psycho!

I know and I need to do something for him and Mina.

What do you mean?

I have to let him pay for his debts and save him from this mess.

No but I'm Son Chaeyoung.

With that she stopped texting when she heard clunks of heels coming closer to her. She knows who followed her and that's her one and only lovely boss and lover, Myoui Mina. She did not need to look back as she knows why the girl is following her. Suddenly, a hand slipped on her sides, completely locking her waist and hugging her back. 

"Why are you here?" Mina asked while laying her chin on the cub's shoulder. 

"Just wanted some air and you.. I thought you have loads of work to do" she chuckled from the tickling butterflies the girl is giving her. Mina pouted. It is one of the rare times to see a childish act from the heiress herself specially, if you are not Son Chaeyoung.

"I'm tired I need a break you know" then she snuggled closer. Inhaling the strawberry scent from the younger.

"Last time I check you were never a lazy bum Minari. You're a workaholic type of person so what exactly is bothering you?" she might be too dense not to know that the heiress were giving her glances of worry. Chaeyoung knows that her lover is starting to pick up from her actions. AS she said she's a bad liar.She do know she can't hide the truth forever. She turned around to face the penguin while never breaking the contact.

"Chae are you hiding something?" she frankly asked. There's no use in sugar coating words. Mina knows that Chaeyoung is not a dumb person like Momo.

"Hmm I do but like yours It's kind of hard to say." Chaeyoung gave her a subtle smile hoping that the older girl would understand.

"Okay I got it so you have your piece of secret and so am I" She sighed.

"I'll tell you when I'm ready. I promise." Slowly she hugged the taller one. Taking in the sweet jasmine scent from the girl. It makes her calm and at peace, being by her arms Chaeyoung could feel that she can do anything for this girl.

"Okay me too. I love you" MIna tightened the hug afraid that her little sun would disappear any moment.

"I love you too and always remember that" Closing her eyes she let a lone tear escape. Good thing Mina can't see it or else she can't handle it.

"You're really crazy you know that?!" Somi burst out while clutching her hair from the headache the tiger cub giving her. "Look Son Chaeyoung. I didn't say those things to you to let yourself get killed! Don't you know your father could kill anyone even his own blood. He only cares for Mina" she frustratingly trying to convince Chaeyoung to change her mind. Hearing those things makes Chaeyoung felt bitter to his devil father more.

"If he really is my father then I'll do anything to correct his doing. Mina has already suffered too much" Chaeyoung is determined to finish whatever evil doing her father is planning. He can't use me to make Mina suffer. She thought.

"But you being in harm would make her suffer more" Somi's voice started to soften.

"Not when she hates me" she smiled. A sad smile.

"But isn't that the same?! she'll also suffer! Chae she'll be back to the old Mina or worst.." Somi trailed off. She's starting to realize what her friend want to do. Why do Chaeyoung need to do this.. she too suffered too much already. Somi felt pity to her friend. She saw Chaeyoung and was by her side through those hardships of being an orphan. 

"It's better than to see her cry and blame herself again for whatever that's going to happened! I know I'm not safe Somi-ah. If you can't do your mission he'll send new ones to get me and he won't stop.. you tell me, whatever choice I'll do I can't go back to the old time. The cartel has the influence enough to match the Myoui's. I-I want to do something for Mina" Her tears started to fall. Somi can't imagine the burden her friend is having. She understood her decision. She did but it's too dangerous and heart breaking.

"The cartel has a ledger of any illegal transactions they have. If you won't die before getting your hands on it then you can surely take the cartel down." Somi patted her shoulders to comfort her.

"Thank you Somi-ah" Chaeyoung gave her a broken smile.

"I'm with you. I'll help you with all I have. After all, infiltrating a cartel... tch can't let you have all the fun aren't we?" Chaeyoung chuckled to her friend's joke. Yes it is a joke. How could infiltrating a cartel be fun?

Morning came and Mina were peacefully tucked in her arms. She felt her heart broke seeing the girl she loves the most for the last time. She doesn't know. Maybe this could be the last time that she'll see the peaceful smile of her while sleeping. The last time she'll be having the heiress in her arms. Kissing the crown of her beloved lover, Mina stirred on her arms. A light sleeper as she is.

"Good morning baby" She greeted sweetly. Mina smiled and snuggled closer. 

"Good morning" her voice hoarse from the sleep. Chaeyoung savoured their remaining time together. She knows the girl won't treat her the same way when she knows the truth. She'll hate me tomorrow. She sadly smile.

"I love you Minari so much" Chaeyoung wisphered. 

"So sweet in the morning baby" Mina felt blessed to have her girl by her side. Completely oblivious to what's going to happen.

"You deserve it my love" kissing her crown again. Mina pushed slightly away from the cub to see her face. She was meet with a loving gaze of Chaeyoung. 

"Tsk.. I love you too sooooo much more" Mina lean in to kiss her lover. At first it was a simple kiss that turns into a make out session. Chaeyoung's hands wander on Mina's waist as Mina clung her hands to her nape, deepening the kiss. They only parted their now red lips for some air. 

"Let's go down I'll make your breakfast" Chaeng kissed her again to her lips but only for a second. Mina could feel pure bliss to the angel in front of her. Sporting a wide smile she let the girl guide her to the kitchen. She hopes that this won't end. No, she can't handle it.

Momo has been silently eating her breakfast when she heard her phone buzz. It was a text from an unregistered number.

Let's meet Momo-ssi. It's me Jeon Somi. I need to tell you something. Address would be xxxx at xxx street. Lunch time.

She frowned, what could the girl want from her. Sure she knows Somi as Chaeyoung's close friend but what would be the reason of her to contact her. Clueless she can only know if she'll go. Sighing, she planned to have a lunch with the maknaes but guess she can't make it. She replied the text with an 'okay' and continued eating her food.

Mina and Chaeyoung are currently having their date. Chae insisted that they'll have a day off for the day so that they can have time together. Mina take it as Chaeyoung would be leaving soon so, she didn't argue and gladly cancel any meeting for today's date. Chaeyoung surprisingly planned everything they're going to do. She doesn't know when but she's really grateful for the thoughtfulness of her girlfriend. First they go to see Universal studios and she really enjoyed it. From the scenery to the air surrounding them. All of it felt so lively but, there is something she can't quite fathom that's bothering her.

After their date to studio, Chaeyoung brought her to a korean restaurant and yes she does like the food so much that she enjoyed it. She does enjoyed everything when she's with the younger girl. The next destination is the Zoo. There she saw the real tigers and tiger cubs that her lover resembles. Even penguins that Chaeyoung has been teasing her for a half hour now. Everything felt so magical and happiness overwhelmed her. They always hold hands while walking, taking pictures together well, mostly of her since Chaeyoung became her personal photographer all of a sudden. 

The day continues and the night time has come. They decided to have a dinner together with the other girls. Everyone look so thrilled and happy for the treat of Mina. But something is off, Momo is somehow acting strange and everyone noticed it. She was always the first to grab a food but now she's silent.

"Momo unnie you don't like the food?" Chaeyoung asked with her smile. Momo gave her a look, a look that somehow gave a meaning to it.

"Hey Moguri are you okay?" Mina noticed the stare of the older to Chaeyoung. Momo immediately diverted her attention to her cousin and grin. 

"I-I am. Just that I eat before coming here hehe" she rub her nape like she's being sorry for not having the appetite.

Everyone buy her reason as there would be no reason for her to lie. Sana and Dahyun were being extra touchy that everyone seems to gross out of it. Nayeon is being a flirt again and Jeong can't help but to feel embarrassed with her wife. She choose to ignore her remarks making the girl whine. The younger ones could only cringe to the older's act specially, Tzuyu.

When they finished eating. They decided to end the night and get home from their tiring day. Mina and Chaeyoung were last to leave the place as Mina has to pay the foods. While Mina is paying, Chaeyoung can't help but felt weird by Momo's stare hour ago. Sure, that look says something. She can't possibly know something does she? she worriedly thought.

On their way home, Chaeyoung fell asleep. She's tired from their date and Mina clearly knows that. Without waking the girl, she carries her on her back and successfully bringing her to their shared room. Laying her down comfortably on their bed, she stared at her lover's beautiful sleeping face. It was the most beautiful sight she could ever see. She didn't even notice that a smile already made it's way to her lips. Kissing the girl a goodnight, she washed herself and then layed besides her sleeping girl. After she makes herself comfortable, Chaeyoung snuggled closer to her, burying her face to the crook of her neck.

"Goodnight Minari I love you" she groggily said. Mina can't help but felt her heart jump from the cuteness of her girlfriend.

"Goodnight Chaengie I love you more" then she closed her eyes and let darkness envelopes her mind. Drifting to dreamland with her lover in her arms. There is only one thing she wished.

Please if you're really real. Don't take her away from me. she said inside her mind.
