"I'm not saying I'm attracted to you or anything," I suddenly blurted out, unable to keep myself from blushing. "Just that you are attractive. To others, I mean. You know, in general. Not, like, to me. So, I'm, um, not attracted to you."

"Evans," he said, looking like he was trying not to smile, "I never said you were."

IMPORTANT:

Hello, everyone,

Wattpad was kind enough to reach out to me and ask if I wanted to be part of the Paid Stories program. After much consideration, I decided to give it a go.

It was not an easy decision. I started writing on Wattpad way back when I was in my early teens, and I never expected to get a lot of readers. I'm incredibly overwhelmed when I think about how far I've managed to come, and I'm happy when people tell me that my stories have helped them in some way.

I understand if some of you find it unfair for me to have joined the Paid Stories program, but I hope you also understand where I'm coming from.  Your love and support will always be appreciated, whether you continue reading this story or not.

Thank you and I hope you guys enjoy this story!

Love,

Sam

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Because it will pass, like your friends told you it would. It will pass, like it always does. It will pass, like it's meant to pass. It will pass, and that's all right, because to quote one of my favorite spoken word poems, love arrives exactly when it's supposed to and it leaves exactly when it must.

It doesn't matter whether or not you live happily ever after. What matters is that it happened.

EXTENDED SUMMARY:

When Kyla Evans was dumped by her boyfriend of two years, she was devastated—but she wasn't going down that easily.

Determined to make him regret ever dumping her, she abandons her oversized sweaters and nerdy glasses for a dish best served cold: Revenge.

How she's planning to do it? By going out with the person her ex-boyfriend hates the most.

Seth Everett.

ABOUT:

For those of you who don't know, this story was originally completed back in July 2014, but I've rewritten almost half of it, and this version posted now is the revised manuscript.

To the old readers, I'm sorry if I happened to remove some of your favorite lines or scenes or chapters. I don't expect you to like this new version, but I'm not exactly forcing you to read it again, so please refrain from violent reactions and hateful comments. If you don't like this new version, you don't have to read it.

To those who've told me they're looking forward to reading the new version, I hope this doesn't disappoint.

To those of you who are new to Kyla's story, I hope you enjoy this.
