----------

Elonzo looked at me for a minute, contemplating his options.

"What?" I asked, hiding my smirk.

"Fine." He gritted, glaring at me.

His expressions clearly said, if I wasn't his sister, he would've tortured me endlessly.

"What fine? What does that mean? Are you ready to tell me or are you ready to go sit in the corner until you are ready to tell me?" I asked. He clenched his jaw.

"I'm not going to tell you." He said.

"That is a chair and there are four corners." I shrugged, pointing my index finger. He glared at me, trying to kill me, while I stood there, glaring back at him, my hands on my hips.

"That's not fair. It may be something personal." He said, still trying to reason with me.

"That doesn't give you the right to wreck the living room and talk to me that way." I said, narrowing my eyes. "I still have plenty of time to pack."

His anger seemed to lessen a bit, hearing the threat.

I know he won't in any way let me leave.

He clenched his hand in fists and turned around to pick up a chair. Slamming the chair down on the floor, he sat down glaring at the wall and crossing his arms.

I won't be surprised if that wall broke and crumbled into powder.

"You can come out when you're ready to talk like a peaceful human." I said, sitting down on the couch and putting my feet on the table. I grabbed the remote and turned on the TV.

"Stop copying my dialogues and using them on me." Elonzo grumbled.

"You're well aware you're not allowed to speak." I said, mimicking Elonzo.

He turned around to glare at me, which almost scared me. I looked back at the TV again and gulped.

He's still scary, even if its funny to see him sit in the corner.

"What? This is once in a lifetime moment. No! Once in hundred lives moment." I said, looking at him and chuckling.

"And I swear this is the last time, I'm doing this." He gritted.

"Oh! Already bored? Its just been like three minutes." I mocked again. "Or did you learn your lesson that quick."

"What lesson? I'm just doing this so you don't leave." He said, still gritting his teeth.

Now when he will talk, small white pieces of enamel will fall out.

"If I can kneel before you to stop you from leaving, then this is a very small thing. I know how stubborn you are." He muttered to himself.

Right. That was not a good sight to see.

That was not for me to hear.
Anger has really made him blind, or drove him crazy.

I turned back to the TV. I kept looking at him every few seconds, but he seemed to be lost in thought. I could still sense the anger radiating off him.

What could possibly anger him this much?

After about twenty minutes, I saw him getting up and sitting beside me on the couch, not before letting out a small sigh of frustration.

I turned off the TV and turned to him.

"See how boring and annoying that was?" I said. Off topic, but I had to make him admit that.

"Can't agree with you more." He said, more to himself.

What has happened to him?

"Truck! Didn't record it." I said, suddenly realising. He glared at me. I giggled nervously and said,
"Sorry. So what caused you to turn into hulk?"

He hesitated for a moment, before sighing.

"Anna is moving away." He said. My jaw dropped.

He's so bothered by that?

Okay? He's gonna admit it. Wow. That's why he didn't want to tell me.

"And?" I asked, trying to know more.

"What and?" He turned his head towards me sharply. "And I'm bothered by that. I mean, she didn't even tell me about it. I just found out she's leaving and I can't contact her."

I felt sad for him. Finally, he met someone he liked and she's moving away.

"Did you talk to her?" I asked.

"No. It was her co-workers. They told me, when I went to the shop today." He bit his tongue, not looking at me.

"Anna wasn't there, so I asked and they said, she's not going to work there anymore and she's moving away." He said, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"You need to talk to her then." I said, stating the obvious.

"I don't have her number." He said, frustratedly.

That's why he can't contact her.

The sadness and frustration on his face made me want to go on a killing spree.

"Are you serious?" I exclaimed. "Who doesn't have their crush's number?"

He turned his head towards me sharply, looking flustered.
"She's not my crush. She's just..." He gritted but paused. "A friend."

"Uh huh. Right." I nodded, throwing a disbelieving look his way.

"Don't give me that look." He said, frowning.

"I can't help it, if you keep denying it but acting like you can't live without her." I said, smirking at him. "Look at yourself, Elonzo. You like her. I know. We can keep it a secret. No need acting before me."

"I don't know. She kept leading me on." He said, finally admitting it and opening up a little more. "I feel like she played me."

"You can ask for her address from her co-workers. Meet her and ask her what went wrong?" I said, feeling the urge to facepalm myself when he suddenly realized. His eyes widened a little when realization struck.

"Blinded by heartbreak, huh Capo?" I mocked.

"I'm going to ask for it." He said, ignoring my remark and getting up.

"Wait! I'm coming too." I said, running behind him.

I swear if he leaves me...

I walked out the room, to see two very shocked people looking at Elonzo's back, with their jaws dropped and eyes wide.

"Will tell you later." I said, running behind that King Kong. They nodded, still shocked

I ran behind him and jumped in the car before him.

We reached there in no time. Elonzo rushed inside, and banged his fist on the counter, calling for someone to come.

A girl rushed to the counter.

"What can I get you, sir?" She asked.

"Anna." I smirked. Elonzo turned back to smack my head, a scowl on his face.

I rubbed my head, trying to control my laughter.

"I need Anna's address." Elonzo said.

"I'm sorry sir, but I can't give that to you. That's personal information of the employees." She said, politely.

"Her phone number instead?" He asked.

Is this guy for real?

I punched his shoulder.
"You're the future Mafia Don. The Capo. Act like it." I gritted.

Elonzo straightened up.
"I want that information right now." He demanded.

This guy is really in love.

"But-" I cut her off.

"You know, he's so powerful, he can buy the whole country." I bragged. Elonzo reached back to grab his gun. He took it out of the waistband and flicked it casually in his hand. The girl's eyes widened with fear.

She gulped and nodded instantly, looking around for help.

"Mr. Romano." Another girl said, as she came out to serve customers.

Elonzo nodded at her.

"What brought you here?" She asked, smiling at him.

She seems comfortable with him.
"I want Anna's address." He stated, plainly.

I looked at the counter, to find it empty. The first girl ran away.

The second girl looked at him with a sad look, before asking someone to take over for her and motioning us to follow her.

"Who's she?" I asked, as we walked behind her.

"Anna's friend." He said, simply.

"How many times have you been here?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Every other day." Elonzo muttered, quite unwillingly.

"What? And you never brought me along?" I asked, offended.

"I don't want a little baby teasing me all the time." He said, rolling his eyes.

"But I already knew." I wiggled my eyebrows.

"Stop that." He grumbled.

We stopped in a corner, away from everyone.

"What is it, Emma?" Elonzo asked.

"She was fired." She said, looking around so no one heard her. "She wasn't being paid regularly. When she confronted the manager about it, she fired her."

"What?" I said. "Not gonna lie, that's a Karen move."

"Where's the manager?" Elonzo asked, his hands curled into fists.

"In her office." She stated the obvious.

"Lead the way." I said.

We reached there in no time, Elonzo still fuming. He pushed the door open, rather forcefully, slamming it.

Mission give justice to Anna going good. Over.

The mid-aged evil-looking lady looked up.
"What?" She said angrily as we walked in. I couldn't help but smirk.

We're about to threaten this Karen and I'm so looking forward to it.

"Elonzo Romano." Elonzo introduced, through gritted teeth.

Her eyes widened as she stood up from her chair, a panicked expression on her face.

"Is there a problem, sir?" She said, stuttering the sentence out.

I sat down as Elonzo followed suit. Crossing our legs, with our right ankles on our left knees.

"There indeed is." I said, smirking a little.

"I need to know why you fired Anna. Anna Davies." Elonzo asked.

She gulped.
"She wasn't that useful, Mr. Romano. We need the best service."

"And not pay those people, who are giving the best service?" I said, tilting my head to the side.

She gulped.
"That's an inside matter."

Ooooo. That takes guts.

Elonzo casually, put his gun on the table.
"Why not kill you?" He asked, looking at her, before turning to me.

"How does that sound, baby?" He said. "It'll be our inside matter. No one will know about it."

"W-What?" She asked, her face pale. "You won't do that."

"Are you really questioning his power?" I asked.

"N-No. I'm sorry." She pleaded. "I'll pay her. I'll pay everyone."

"Hmm. Now Call Anna, apologize to her, give her back the job and a raise." Elonzo said, grabbing his gun.

"Okay." She said, picking up the phone.

"Ask her to come here." I said, nudging Elonzo.

"I called to tell you that you're getting your job back and a raise too. I'm sorry for not giving you your salary for so long." She said, her eyes flicking from the gun, to us and to the gun again.

"Also, you need to come here. Mr. Romano is here to meet you. I'm sorry I didn't know, you were related to them." She said, before hanging up.

Elonzo tapped on his phone, for a while.

"You can start packing your things. I just bought this shop. I'll find a new manager. I just got to know, you kept their salary for yourself." He glared at the shaking Karen.

We sat there for about ten minutes, before a knock was heard on the door.

Elonzo stood up as the door opened and Anna peeked in.

Her eyes lit up and she lunged onto Elonzo, muttering thank you again and again.

Elonzo froze on the spot, his ears turning red, as he just stood there, his arms to his side.

Anna had her arms around his neck, her feet not touching the ground.

"Hug her back." I said, whisper yelling and doing the hugging actions.

Elonzo shook his head, but did when I glared at him.

'Is this really Elonzo?'
'He's in looovvvveee.'

"Thank you Elonzo. I didn't want to leave." She said.

"You should've told me." Elonzo said, as he pulled away. "Besides, there was no need to move away, you could've found another job."

And here he thought Anna played him.

"My parents insisted." She rubbed the back of her neck.

"Still you should've told me." He said, frowning and giving her a disapproving look.

She tried her hardest to ignore that look. Her eyes landed on me and she smiled.

"Hey." She said. "We've met before. Evelina right? Mr. Bossy talks about you a lot."

"You can call me Evvie." I said. "The most good-looking Romano and your future hus-"

Husband's sister.

I couldn't complete what I wanted to say, before two hands stopped me, one on my mouth, the other on my ear, pulling me out of the room.

"You say one wrong word and I'm going to ground you for a lifetime." Elonzo warned, in a dangerous tone.

"What? I was just telling the truth." I smirked.

"I'm warning you, Evvie." He said. "I'm serious."

"Hi Serious, I'm Evvie." I said, backing away from him, to get out of his reach.

Elonzo clenched his jaw while glaring at me. He looked like he wanted nothing more than to bang his head on the wall. Or mine.

He stalked towards me while I regretted even being alive at the moment.

'I DON'T WANNA DIE. WHY DO YOU WANT TO KILL BOTH OF US, IDIOT.' The voice yelled at me.

'I CAN'T KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT. JUST LIKE YOU. MAYBE IT WILL BE BETTER IF YOU SHUT UP.'
I yelled back.

"Hey. Is there a problem?" I heard a sweet female voice say.

My saviour.

"No." Elonzo said, stopping in his tracks and turning towards Anna, not before giving me one last warning glare.

They stared at each other for a long time, before Elonzo looked away, awkwardly.

"We should get going." He said, not taking his eyes off Anna, who seemed thoroughly disappointed. Elonzo looked quite hesitant while saying that.

I think the truck not.

"Let's have lunch together." I asked, smiling at Anna.

"I'm hungry." I whined, looking at Elonzo, who raised his eyebrows at me in surprise.

"If you insist." Anna said, looking at Elonzo, her whole face turning red.

"Let's go then" He said, holding my hand in his while Anna started walking on his other side.

"Thank me later, brother." I whispered as he squeezed my hand in his and smiled a little.

-----------

"You know, I was driving too fast and the police tried to stop me and I sped up." She said.

"Woah! Cool." I said, looking at her with awe.

"Not cool. There's nothing cool in high speed." Elonzo muttered, before narrowing his eyes. "You're just putting your life in danger."

Here we go with the speeding lecture again.

"I was drunk." She shrugged, not even bothered by the look he was giving her.

"Drinking and driving is prohibited for a reason." He said, matter-of-factly.

"Okay, Old man. Chill"

That wasn't me.

"You call me old man one more time, Anna." Elonzo gritted.

"I'm not scared Elonzo." She said, although I could see a hint of fear in her eyes.

"Oh yeah. Well I won't allow you to ever drink." He threatened.

"I will do drugs then." She retorted, glaring back at him.

"You do that and I will lock you inside."  He said.

"I will run away and find a new home." She said.

"You won't be able to run away, we have tight security." He said.

'But I still manage to sneak out.'
I laughed quietly, not wanting to interrupt them.

I was thoroughly enjoying this conversation.

"I was talking about my house?" Anna said, as a blush rose on her cheeks.

"But I'm gonna lock you inside my house. I won't let you leave my sight." Elonzo said, in a low tone, almost smirking.

Okay. This is going too far.

I cleared my throat.
"Its delicious." I said, taking a bite of my food.

Anna focussed on her food, her face red, while Elonzo seemed unfazed and smirked at how flustered Anna looked.

I mean, ask each other out already!

But for the sake of Mr. Right Ear the great and Mr. Left Ear the great, I can't say anything about that.

It was great. Anna is nice and always argues with Elonzo. But the way he looks at her is so adorable.

I wonder if Zack looks at me like that.
But all I see is teasing and roasting. Sometimes anger.
