"Okay, baby. Let's get your bike keys and go." I got up, ruffling her hair, getting an adorable glare in return. Now that made me smile. Cute little baby.

"Okay, Elonzo." She said, smiling and getting up, before walking like a duckling again. Waltzing as she calls it.

She still looks like those cute little ducklings you see in cartoons and no I don't spend so much time in my office watching cartoons.

I opened my desk drawer and pulled the keys out, before handing them to her.

"No speeding. If you do, I'm going to stop the ice-cream and chocolate supplies we get for you. In fact, I'm going to stop any sweet food that reaches your plate."

She gasped.
"How dare you?" She narrowed her eyes.

The ways this girl attempts to mimick me is too funny for me to handle. She looks exactly like I look, as others told me. I disagree. I don't think I look anywhere near cute when I do that.

"You never mess with food, you poor illiterate soul." She jumped up to grab my ear.

Dramatic.

She didn't need to jump. Just stand still and raise her hand. But leave it to her to be extra in every situation.

Wait. Ow.

This girl actually had the audacity to pull my ear after grabbing it.

Not fair. I was busy thinking.
Add a cute baby voice to that sentence because that's what she says.

"Get your hand off my ear, Evelina." I gritted.

"Why? Does it hurt, little baby?" She mocked, in a 'now you know how I feel' look.

I clenched my jaw. Now she's pushing her luck. I don't care if it's her birthday, she's sitting in the corner if she pulls a stunt like this. And she did. So she's going straight to the corner.

"No. But if I decide to get too mad and my hand reaches your ear, it's definitely going to." I said, lowly, watching her recognize the tone. She gulped.

Her eyes were wide as she looked to be thinking about her next move.

Thankfully, for her, she pulled her hand back, before rubbing my ear softly.
"Chill, brother. I was joking. I'm your only sister, right? Don't get mad." She backpedaled quickly, trying to soothe me by rubbing my ear and smiling sweetly.

Good for her.

I glared one more time, before picking her up again and started walking.

"I'm really going to follow through what I said. Don't test me on that." I said, ensuring she knew she'd actually face the consequences, if she decides to be reckless. No sweets is something too cruel for her. She can't live without pancakes. She eats them on alternate days if not everyday.

"Fine." She grumbled, rolling her eyes.

I almost scolded her, but decided she had enough scolding for her birthday. Instead I kissed her head, as she laid it down on my shoulder and yawned. She's obviously exhausted from the day.

"If you argue about not going to bed before everyone, you're going to regret it. I don't want a cranky baby burning the house down." I joked, chuckling a bit. She's obviously going to stay up and I'm not actually going to stop her. But the reaction I get is entertaining.

She lifted her head to glare at me through sleepy eyes.
"Then let me sleep in tomorrow, trucker." She said. "But I will not go to sleep when my brothers have already made plans for a movie night. If you make me, know that I'll force you to sleep early too."

Well, I get the cuddles. So it's not exactly a problem.

I shrugged.
"I'm the older brother. You're the baby sister. I already told you to do something, so you're going to do it like an obedient baby."

She's anything but obedient. If I say stop laughing She'll laugh in different voices for the whole day. I'm not even kidding. She's that stubborn.

"You mean your command, Mr. Dictator?" She asked, sarcastically.

"I mean my threat, Miss Baby." I rolled my eyes.

"It's Miss Romano, you forgetful hulk." She rolled her eyes.

"For me, it's baby. I don't know your other names." I shrugged, smirking at the annoyance on her face.

This is a fight she's never gonna win. She's a baby and that's it. End of the story.

"Oh? What happens when you say, Evelina Romano, get your disobedient butt to my office right now." She said the last part in a heavy voice, mimicking me. "So, you mean baby..." She pointed her thumb to herself. "Shouldn't get scared and run to do whatever you said in that tone?"

Can I cut the comeback supplies too?
Nah. They're entertaining.

"I don't have enough comebacks to argue with you." I admitted, making her smirk in victory and put her head up proudly.

I pushed her head down forcefully. I stroked her hair and by the time we reached the living room door, she was half asleep.

She can stay up for the movie night. I don't have a right to stop her. Although, I know she'll be out soon. My guess is within seven minutes.

"She's asleep already?" Emilio asked.

"What about movie night?" Vincenzo asked. All the cousins looked at me and frowned.

Evvie raised her hand and moved it in a waving motion.
"I'm alive. I mean, awake." She said, sleepily.

"Can I sit beside Zack?" She had the audacity to ask.

But I'm a cool, laid-back and far-from-strict brother, so I nodded. Not something I'm okay with, but something my sister deserves. I mean, he'd think a thousand times before doing something in the presence of about thirty brothers, if my calculation is correct. Excluding Dad and the uncles.

So the Zevy shippers- as they call them- are outnumbered. This fandom includes, Grandpa her two best friends, her twin, her two new friends, Jay and Elijah, the six kids, her three sisters, three siblings-in-law and her three aunts as the main founders and the leaders and I don't know how many supporters. Jay, Elijah and the kids left sometime ago. So lesser support for them.

Wow. She has an army.

I went to sit between Max and Zack and made her sit on my other side, beside her- ew- beside Zack.

"Ew." The D-triplets said, scowling at Zack, who put his arm around her shoulder when she cuddled up to him.

I frowned, but at that exact moment, I felt her hand slip into mine, making the frown vanish.

As I guessed she was out after exactly 6 minutes and 43 seconds.

Okay. Zack is whipped. He was looking down at Evvie from time to time with a sweet smile while she held onto him tight.

"You're lucky to have her." Drake said. Jackie was tucked under his arm, as she leaned into him and watched the movie.

"Of course, he is." Grandpa said, looking at her adoringly. I'm happy she has so many people to adore her.

"Trust me, I know." Zack replied, smiling sweetly, looking at her.

I felt Max get up from beside me, but didn't pay it much attention, as I looked at our rings, mine right beside her. I smiled. Hers is smaller, so it looks cute.

I perked up when the familiar smell of that cologne hit me. I looked to my other side, to see Anna being thrown beside me by Jenna, Britney and Jodee.

These kids.

I narrowed my eyes, but couldn't help the sudden racing of my heart, when she settled herself and her shoulder touched my bicep. As assumed, she was blushing red.

I glared at the three as they suddenly jumped and ran over where the youngest kids group was sitting. The D-triplets, the three girls, Nathan and Max.

I actually felt heat radiating from my ears, as I'm sure they turned red.

I heard someone stifle a laugh and turned my head towards Grandpa, who immediately turned his head towards Uncle Gioffre and pretended to be involved in a conversation with him. He was still smirking smugly.

It was his orders. No doubt.

All of my brothers were holding in their laughter and immediately looked away when I looked at them. Grandpa glared at them and they focused back on the movie, which I forgot was playing. Everyone was completely ignoring me now.

My attention turned back to Anna who shifted uncomfortably, still flustered. I cleared my throat, to gain my composure before I get more flustered and tried focusing on the movie.

But it was hard, because Anna was sitting right in front of me before, on the opposite couch. Now she's beside me and I can't help the occasional turning of my head. It has become harder to look at her without anyone noticing.

The lights were dim, the only light coming from the TV.

I heard a small yawn and looked at Anna again. She was struggling to keep her eyes open, her head falling backwards, before she jerked up again. I smiled.

My gaze travelled to my family, who were still ignoring me.

Well, if they are giving me a chance and shipping this, might as well take advantage. It'll be fine as long as they ignore me.

I looked back at Anna, now forcefully keeping her eyes open and trying hard to focus on the movie.

I moved my arm and wrapped it around her waist, making her tense up and her eyes widened as she looked at me, surprised. She gasped when I pulled her closer. I smirked at the blush creeping on her face as she now sat straight, tensed up, tucked into my side.

She fiddled nervously with her shirt, looking around for any signs of an audience.

There was none.

I pulled my hand out of Evvie's hand. It'll be just a minute. I'll hold her hand again.

I focussed on Anna and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, revealing her ear and a fair part of her neck.

I leaned down and placed a kiss just below her ear.
"Relax, sweetheart." I whispered, watching her shiver because of the kiss. She forced herself to relax, easing up just a little bit.

I snickered and sat up straight again. Slipping my hand back into Evvie's, I watched Anna relax a little more, adjusting so she was comfortable.

I began rubbing circles on her waist, where my hand was as she slowly relaxed into me, her head on my shoulder. She yawned again.

Soon, she was fully engrossed in the movie again, while maybe almost asleep. She was fiddling with a button on my shirt, completely cuddled up to my side.

Meanwhile, the little baby stretched one leg out to put over mine, while her upper body laid in Zack's lap now. She pulled our hands to her stomach and kept them there, not letting go.

I looked up and straight ahead, to find Drake. Jackie had fallen asleep some time ago. Drake had shifted her onto his lap now, his arms wrapped around her engulfing her completely as she laid like a baby, hugging him tightly.

Marco and Romeo were both asleep, with Marco's head in Romeo's lap and Romeo's head back against the couch.

These three siblings-in-law club members and the little baby did work hard to make the mess today, so they had to be exhausted. It was cute seeing all of them so peaceful and happy with the ones they wanted to spend their lives with. And it's not often you see couples cuddling in the presence of family.

Perks of having a chill family, I guess.
