"Okay. That was fun." I said, jumping on my bed, laying on it facing the ceiling. I'm tired after working so hard. I felt the bed dip on my sides and my desk chair being pulled closer to the bed.

"Remind me why you thought including me was a good idea?" Romeo said, taking a seat.

"Because Marco would be proud if his future husband is getting involved in hilarious..." I trailed off and nudged both of the girls beside me.

"Shit." Jackie completed my sentence, stifling a sleepy laugh.

"And when he gets mad and kills us. It's going to be extra fun." Anna said sleepily, smirking evilly. I chuckled and turned back to stare at the ceiling.

I had just closed my eyes, hearing Romeo type away at the phone. I was almost asleep when all three of us jumped.

The door slammed open, scaring the truck out of us as the bang echoed throughout the mansion.

"I want my room exactly how it was. You have sixty minutes." Elonzo gritted, looking really mad. We sat up and I nudged Anna with my elbow.

"Calm him down or something." I whispered urgently as my heart started beating rapidly due to the scary glare he had set on me.

Just as Anna opened her mouth, Elonzo snapped his glare to her, immediately shutting her up.

"Not one word from you." He warned, before looking back at me. "I know exactly who did it and who helped her, so get moving before I lose my patience."

Okay. This is entertaining but is he really making us clean up the mess when my birthday party is hours away?

So I did what I did best. I pouted and put my puppy eyes on display.

Elonzo narrowed his eyes in response.
"Do you really want a timeout on your birthday?" He asked.

"Exactly my point. You can't make us clean the mess when my first birthday party with all of you is hours away." I crossed my arms.

"If you can make the mess, you can clean it too. Go." He snapped his fingers, pointing towards the door.

I got up, the pout still on my face and walked out with my two companions and one spectator following close behind.

Yes. Romeo didn't exactly help with the execution. He just watched us do that and judging by the smug 'I told you so' smile on his face, he's gonna watch us clean now.

"This is boring." Jackie grumbled, one minute into the cleaning.

"I know." I complained.

"This is ridiculous." Anna exclaimed ripping the decorations off the wall and throwing them somewhere.

We put all the decorations here. Not even close to decorative, it was a mess. Just paper decorations draping from random places.

"I know." I complained again. This is stupid.

"I told you." Romeo sang, still busy on his phone. We glared at him but didn't say anything.

About twenty minutes later, we were done. I released a sigh of relief. Romeo helped a little, but he was still taunting us as to why it was a bad decision.

"Finally." Anna grumbled, about to fall face first on the bed but immediately stopped when realization hit her hard. Her eyes widened before she blushed furiously.

It's... Just a bed? Why's she acting like that? She wasn't about to fall on Elonzo.

"Nice save."Jackie remarked, following Roman out. I just shrugged, still having a confused look on my face before going back out.

"Jackie!" Someone called, entering my room.

"Yeah?" She asked absentmindedly, turning to Drake, who just walked in. She wasn't paying much attention to him though, since we were engrossed in a deep conversation.

Romeo left as soon as we left Elonzo's room. So, it's just me, Anna and Jackie

Drake came to sit beside her.
"Why am I not getting enough attention?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows. I stifled a laugh.

"Because we're currently talking about the youngest member of the Romano siblings-in-law club." Jackie said. Drake catched onto exactly who we were talking about, because he scowled after a second.

"Ew." He muttered, shooting a displeased look my way, to which I stuck my tongue out.

Yes. They're still sore I have a boyfriend now and not giving enough attention and love to them.

"Why are you here anyways?" I asked, narrowing my eyes, about ready to throw this weak man out of my room, by just my pinky finger.

"Oh yeah." He said, as he suddenly remembered. "I came to ask my girlfriend to politely accompany me to the living room."

"Oh?" I tilted my head. "Are you sure you want to take her to the living room?"

Jackie turned away from him, laughing quietly.

He leaned forward and flicked my forehead, narrowing his eyes at me.
"If I hear one more inappropriate thing coming out of your mouth, I'm gonna implement the 'no boyfriend' rule."

"NOTHING was inappropriate in that!" I exclaimed.

"It still gave the idea. I know exactly what you were pointing at, so don't argue or we can have this discussion with you in a timeout."

"Just so you know, Elonzo said, no talking while you're in timeout." I said, scowling at him.

"I can change that rule for one time. He won't mind. Now drop it." He said, giving me one last warning look, before motioning for Jackie to get up and follow him. He stood up from the bed, while I was pouting.

"Whatever Oldie. I know exactly what you're gonna do. So, your concern doesn't matter. I'm a grown woman I can think however I want." I put my head up and smirked. He glared at me for a second, before taking a step forward. Jackie was quick to grab the collar of his shirt and pull him out. I stifled a laugh, when he complied.

"Y'all need to chill." She said, before shutting the door behind her.

"Wow." Anna muttered, staring at the door. "I want that power."

My eyes widened.
"Forget about it. You're never getting that." I said, making her pout. THAT power over the oldest of the oldies? This girl is insane for even thinking that.

That hulk can flick someone and break them into pieces if he wants to. Not to mention the times I've almost passed out under his glare. My Dad will surely torture him for murdering me someday.

"True." She nodded her head. "Mr. I'm the boss so you follow my rules needs to chill." She groaned falling back on the bed. I followed and laid down besides her.

"Believe me I've been trying to bring him back to his twenties, but he insists on being an old man." I said, pouting. "Why exactly were you ignoring him anyways?"

"Because I wanted to annoy him. He doesn't have to scare me like that." She said, hugging a pillow.

The ways I relate with her so much tells me I'll be best friends with my sister-in-law.

I nodded, looking at her with pity.

"I started ignoring him. Leaving him on seen. I never thought I'd have to be under the same roof as him so soon. Now I regret it, because he's physically before me and would annoy me by his lecture again, then I'll mouth off again, then he will be mad, then I'll laugh, then he will scare me, then I will shut my mouth and just listen to that dictator." She pouted, before letting out another groan.

"But it eventually leads to you getting out of trouble and things to go normal, right?" I asked, confused why she's so frustrated about it.

"But the procedure is so long and exhausting." She grumbled.

Am I weird for thinking the procedure is the best part?

Okay. Now that's where we don't relate. I love the 'procedure'. Making Elonzo mad, pushing his buttons, until you're in more trouble than you were before. Definitely something entertaining, if we ignore the timeouts.

I chuckled.
"I love that part, actually. For me, things don't go normal after that. It's either me sitting in the corner for an eternity after that, or me sitting in the corner with a red ear, both ears if I manage to make him too mad, for an eternity." I said, laughing as the memories of all our arguments and the consequences I've faced started revolving in my mind. "You're luckier than me, I guess."

"Nah. No one can be luckier than you." Anna said, looking at me ridiculously. "He loves you more than anything."

He has definitely gone softer, because the timeout ends sooner than before and then I start acting like a baby, which I do rarely, may I add. Then I get cuddles. A grown woman needs cuddles too. Especially from her eldest brother.

"You're right, maybe." I said, smiling softly. "He's a big softie. It gets on his nerves when I disrespect or disobey him or put my life in danger. But at the end, he cares. He's gone out of his way and changed so much that I can't even compare him to the guy I met when I first moved in."

"Cute." She said, smiling brightly. "How was he when you first met him?"

"We don't know what your life was before..." I said, making my voice heavy. "But you're gonna follow my rules and orders or you will be guillotined after I almost kill you of boredom by making you sit in the corner."

Yeah. I'm still annoying him using that dialogue. He can politely go dump his strict scary self and return as a softie.

Anna started laughing at my poor attempt of mimicking Elonzo.

"Long story short, he tried to be extra strict to scare the poor little girl, but she had different plans and tried to talk to the softie, he had hidden inside?" I said, wondering if that explained it.

That's exactly what I had planned. I just wanted him to relax a little and laugh.

I took his emotionless self as a challenge, trying to make him smile or laugh. Checking if he actually had emotions or was he just a robot.

"Again. Cute." Anna said, chuckling. We stayed silent for a while. Thanks to my siblings-in-law, time flew quickly. Otherwise, I was getting mad whenever the smell of food hit my nose and my stomach growled at that.

"He's still a big meanie. He makes me sit in the corner or pulls my ear and he's kung fu karate strong, so it hurts." I pouted, saying this after some time.

"Your fault you get in trouble."

I jumped and hit my head at the ceiling and fell back, dead. Thank you god, for giving me a wayyy peaceful death than the one this hulk would've given me.

So what actually happened was, We both got startled and shrieked for a long time. Then, we threw the pillows we were hugging, towards the source. I lifted my head just in time to see the two pillows hitting Elonzo straight in the chest and falling down. He just stared at us, bored while we took deep breaths trying to calm down.

"You scared us." Anna almost yelled, her hand to her heart. She shut up quickly when she remembered she was ignoring him. Elonzo smirked while looking at her, because she talked to him.

"I just came to get you two. The party's about to start." He said, smiling at me.

"Oh? Where's Nathan?" I asked.

"The older twins went to call him down." He said, turning his attention to Anna.

"Right. I'll meet you downstairs, Evvie." She said, trying to scramble out of my room.

My eyes widened and bulged out, before falling on the floor. As she was about to walk past, Elonzo grabbed her upper arm and pulled her back. She squeaked when she collided with him, while he wrapped his arm around her back to keep her there.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked, looking at her ridiculously.

"To the party?" She mumbled, struggling to get out of his grasp.

Should I cover my eyes?

Nah. My nosy self doesn't want to.

"Your punishment isn't over yet." He said, lowly, making her eyes go wide. Her face was red as she stammered for a response.

"Uhhh... Guys? I'm still here." I said, reminding them, before it escalates further and they ruin my innocent baby self.

"I know. Get out." Elonzo said, without breaking eye contact with his almost wife and pointing his thumb behind him at the door.

I gasped dramatically.
"Selfish forgetful trucker." I said, exaggerating each word. Elonzo broke eye contact hesitantly to give me a deadpanned look.

I raised my hands in surrender and slid out, with him glaring at me until I was out of his sight.

Before shutting the door, a thought crossed my mind.

"Wait a second. Don't you dare do THAT in my room!" I yelled, suddenly realizing, but yelped, jumped on the spot and ran, soon after seeing the reaction.

"Evelina!" Two voices exclaimed. One warning and one obviously flustered.
