I opened the front door and yelled.
"We're home."

About a second later, we heard footsteps.
"Hey honey. How was your day?" Will said, walking over to greet me.

He stopped dead in his tracks when he noticed I brought company.

His eyes filled with surprise and adoration as he looked at the little kids, who were currently being shy and hiding behind me and Zack.

After hugging me, he turned to the kids and crouched down.
"Hi, I'm Will." He said, softly, waving his hand.

I felt the grip on my sweatpants loosen as one of them turned their head to look at Will.
"Nice name. I'm Angel." Angel said, peeking from behind me.

Of course she was the first one.

"That's a beautiful name." Will said, smiling and shaking her small hand, which she extended.

I shook my head, smiling softly. I pulled them out and crouched down myself.
"He's my brother. The sweetest one actually. You don't have to be so shy." I said, smiling as they calmed down a little and slowly started introducing themselves.

Another pair of footsteps was heard. I turned my head towards the stairs.

"Let's go annoy Elonzo. What do you say, cool sis?" Leo yelled, striding down. I'm sure Elonzo heard that.

He stopped when he saw the little kids. His eyes widened and an excited look crossed his features.

"Oh my god!" He squealed. "They're so cute. Can I keep one of them with me?"

I facepalmed myself.

"Are you serious?" I asked, scowling at him.

"Do I need to answer that?" He asked, tilting his head, looking at me like I was the idiot one.

I just shook my head as he came down the stairs, with a more excited approach than Will's.

"Hi, I'm Leo. The coolest brother." He said, crouching down, so he was face to face.

"My name is Angel." Angel introduced first, smiling at him.

She likes this blackhead already.

Leo pretended to swoon and fell backwards onto the floor, making them giggle. He laid like a starfish for a few seconds, a dreamy smile on his face, before taking his hand off his chest and getting up again.

Angel let out a very cute giggle.

"I'm so lucky this beautiful princess talked to me." He said, kissing the back of Angel's hand, acting like a prince. "Would you mind, if I just kidnapped you and kept your cuteness all to myself?"

"But my sisters would be lonely." She giggled, obviously, liking the princess treatment.

"We can kidnap them too." He said.

"But what about these three? They're our friends." Elsa asked, pouting, talking about the boys. A look of worry crossed all six little faces' features.

Ugh. I want to hug them all so bad now.

"Alright. I'm kidnapping all six of you. That sound good?" Leo asked, smiling sweetly.

As expected, the kids got along well with him too.

"Okay. So if you see a grumpy, you all shout for me, so we can kick his butt." I said, suddenly remembering that a creature named Luciano exists.

"And if you see a mean oldie, don't ever shout for her or me, that will just get you into more trouble." Leo said, nodding his head slowly, like he said the wisest thing possible.

"Are we in trouble?" Josh asked, as they furrowed their eyebrows.

"You can never be." I smiled. "Let me show you around."

Meanwhile, Zack was just standing at a side, clicking pictures. Can't blame him. You can't help it when there are six cuties there to melt you.

After the quick tour, we were all sitting in the living room, while the kids, like the wise and innocent kids they are, sat on the couches, talking and getting to know everyone better.

Elonzo and Marco were in a meeting. Luciano wasn't home. Ryder and Tyler were currently the only reasons the kids were laughing. Nathan was the only reason Angel was too engrossed in telling a story, which he was listening patiently and laughing now and then.

Not to mention that, Grace pointed at Nathan and yelled, "Evvie, that boy looks like you." when he walked in.

Fair to say, the kids had stolen their hearts the moment they looked at them.

"What the-?" Luciano shut up, wisely. "Whose kids did you guys kidnap?" He asked, looking at everyone in the room, except Will and Zack, of course.

My trouble team, to be exact. That is Me, Nathan, Ryder, Tyler and Leo.

"They are the kids from the orphanage." Zack said, stifling a laugh.

"You kidnapped kids from an orphanage? Low blow, you female dogs, low blow." He shook his head, looking at us with disgust and disappointment.

This makeup eating moth.

"Stop being stupid." Nathan and I said together.

"They are the kids I visit often at the orphanage." I said.

He chuckled.
"I know. I was just messing with you." He said, stepping into the room. "You kiddos are too useless to get something done. Don't even think about kidnapping."

I want to punch him so bad.

He walked over to where the kids sat.
"Hi, I'm Luciano." He said, smiling at the kids.

Woah! Where's the real grumpy?

I looked at Leo, who looked like he just saw a ghost.

"Hi, I'm Noah." Surprisingly, Noah replied first.

"You look cool." Josh said, looking at him, like he was his role model.

I feel like they're gonna be on his side.

"Ew. No." I said, trying to push Luciano away. I won't let him spoil them. He's a bad influence.

He flicked my forehead.
"Let us 'older than you' people talk, little baby." He said, pushing me back.

"Yeah. He seems cool." Angel agreed.

No! Not you.

I just sulked at a side, pouting, while he, very cutely interacted with them.

Not gonna lie, it was good to see Luciano's soft side.

About half an hour later, the two remaining brothers decided to grace everyone with their presence.

"Hey. What is happening?" Marco's voice was heard, before he entered the room. Two steps into the room, he stopped abruptly, causing Elonzo to stop behind him.

He looked at the kids, who were all now sitting on one of the boys' shoulders. Luciano started that.

"Hi. I'm Marco. Evvie's second oldest brother." Marco said, shaking their hands, one by one. There was a fond smile on his face.

Elonzo stood there for a moment contemplating what to do. He seemed nervous. Can't blame him. If I'm not wrong, he's probably worried, he will scare them.

"I'm Elonzo. The eldest brother." He said, as softly as he could and smiled sweetly.

"I'm Remy." Angel said, while grabbing fistfuls of Luciano's hair and moving her hands around.

"Remy?" Marco asked, a confused look on his face. She nodded.

"From Rat-" She stopped. "Rat-" She tried again, but couldn't pronounce whatever she wanted to say.

"Ratatouille?" Will asked, chuckling.

"Yes. That." Angel said, moving her hands again. "From that."

I laughed, along with basically everyone in the room.

"Hello, Remy. Would you mind cooking something for me?" Elonzo asked, smiling. His hands were on his knees so he could be face to face with her.

"I don't mind, but my Alfredo isn't working." She said, frowning down at Luciano, who didn't know what to do, except wince when she accidentally pulled his hair.

"Alright. Then may I take you out for a big treat someday? All of you?" Elonzo asked, now looking at all of them.

"A treat?" They yelled at the same time. Elonzo nodded, straightening up again.

"Wow. Can we please get ice cream?" Elsa asked, jumping excitedly.

"Elonzo will be more than happy to get Ice-cream." I said, nudging Elonzo. I jumped and increased the distance between us when he glared at me. I laughed at him, while he turned his expressions soft again and turned back to the kids.

"Of course." He smiled, before taking a seat.

We all talked for a while, before my phone rang.

"Hello?" I said, wondering what he wants.

"Where are the kids?" Jay said, breathlessly like he'd been running. I could hear the panic in his voice.

Truck. I forgot to tell him.

"Oh. About that." I shoved the phone into Zack's hands, quickly.

Jay is scary when he's mad.

"Yeah?" He asked. "They're with us."

His eyebrows furrowed, as he listened to whatever Jay was saying.
"Why didn't you ask Mother Susan? We asked her if we could."

"Oh. She's not at the orphanage." He looked at me, for a moment, while saying that.

"Okay." He said, passing over the phone to me. I gulped and took it.

"You could've called me." He said, simply. Well yeah. Zack doesn't have his number, I have. Yikes.
"You've never infuriated me more, Evvie. You know, I've been running around, looking for them, because six kids got lost at once. Those too the ones that are basically mine."

"I'm sorry. I forgot." I said, softly trying to calm him down. "Where's Elijah?"

He passed the phone to him.
"Do something to calm him down. I'm sending someone to pick you up. We can all hang out together." I said, urgently.

"Yeah. Of course. Don't mind him. He'll be calm before you know." He said, waving it off. Maybe Jay can't stay mad for too long. That's better.

"Okay. I'll meet you guys soon." I said, as we exchanged goodbyes and hung up.

"That was scary." I shook my head.

"I forgot about them, honestly." Zack said.

"The two boys your age?" Elonzo asked, looking at me. I nodded.

"Jay was mad, because we forgot to tell him about us leaving the orphanage." I said, chuckling a little.

I dialled Oliver's number and asked if he could pick them up. Of course, he said yes.

Jay and Elijah arrived within twenty minutes. Jay was back to his cool calm self and Elijah his usual cheerful bubbly self, which is why he got along well with Nathan and the older twins more.

After talking for a long time, Zack and I left to 'drink water'. Well, I did. He just followed me out, using the same excuse. Currently, we're in the kitchen, with me leaning against the counter, looking up at Zack who had me trapped, with his arms on my both sides, hands on the counter.

Trucker is gonna get a bullet through his head, if anyone walks in. Even Will.

But no. He always has to take the risk when we're at my house.

When we returned back to the living room, half an hour later, everything was flipped.

The first thing I saw was the makeup all of my brothers had on their faces. Not all. Everyone except Elonzo and Marco, who were currently trying not to laugh at the others as they sat with pouts on their faces, while Grace was finishing Luciano's makeup.

Where did they get all that makeup stuff?

Elonzo was standing away from the chaos. Angel and Elsa were climbing onto him, like monkeys. They wrapped their arms and legs around his arm and smiled cheekily at him.

"Alright. Settle down, everyone." Grace said.

"Look what I did, Evvie." She said, as I entered. She started introducing everyone.

"Okay. These are my models. Girl ones first. They will be boys in the second round." She said, as she started pointing.

"Ellie, Marie, Willy, Lily, Lucy, Rydie, Tylie, Natie." She introduced all of my brothers.

Elonzo, Marco, Will, Leo, Luciano, Ryder, Tyler, Nathan.

Smart.

"Ellie?" Elonzo asked, pointing his thumb towards himself. Grace nodded. He gulped and watched in horror as she grabbed the makeup again. She started walking towards him and with each step she took, Elonzo seemed to regret his existence more.

"Uhh.. I have a meeting, kids. I gotta go." He said, standing up suddenly.

"You're going?" Grace pouted.

"I want to see him in makeup." Angel whined.

He looked away from her face, not being able stand that look, she was giving him.

"Why don't we all eat before continuing this?" Marco asked, standing up as well.

After little to no persuasion, they agreed. I wonder how Jay and Elijah got away with the model thingy.

God! I'm gonna melt today.

My brothers decided they wanted to feed the kids, although they were fully capable of eating properly, themselves.

And let me tell you that was an adorable sight to see.

Marco had two kids on his lap, feeding them both, while listening to their stories. Grace and Noah.

Angel broke my heart and chose Luciano. Elsa chose Will. Josh chose Leo. Noah was sitting between Ryder and Tyler. Nathan, Zack, Jay and Elijah were talking among themselves, while I added what I wanted to say, from time to time.

I was enjoying myself. Because First, FOOD. Second, cuteness around me.

That is until the future Capo and the brother who fears me the most and begs me to be in-charge of the family, when Dad is not home, picked me up and started treating me like a kid. Bruh.

"Someone was left out." He said, sweetly, gesturing to the fact that I was one of the kids.

No! Not fact. Just him being delusional.

"Ugh. Let me go." I said, pushing him away and attempting to get up.

Attempting. Because this kung fu karate strong person wasn't letting me go.

"Evvie?" Angel asked, confused. "But she's so big."

"She's bigger than you, but still small enough." Elonzo said, pushing the spoon towards me.

I crossed my arms and looked away. I refuse to be treated like a baby.

"Please." Elonzo said, smiling sweetly. I scowled at him, but took the bite.

Just because he's begging so much.

"That's my little baby."

Now I'm gonna throw hands. He's mocking me. I clenched my hands into fists and glared at him. Elonzo smirked looking at my fists and at the glare. Still trucking amused.

"Stop it." I whined, hiding my face in his chest. I know, this is baby-ish but I can't help it.

"Stop what?" He asked, chuckling.

I didn't answer for quite a long time. I was almost asleep. I didn't even realised I was tired.

"Baby?" He muttered, trying to push me away a little. But to no use.

"Hm?" I asked and yawned.

"Hey! Eat your food first." Elonzo said, shaking me lightly, while chuckles rang through the room.

"Your fault." I mumbled, turning a little so I had my head on his chest, facing the table.

I looked at the food and scowled when I spotted something.

"If you make me eat that green something, I'm throwing you out of this house." I threatened, glaring at whatever it was.

I looked at Angel, who had a pile of this green thing in her plate. Lucky her. In fact, every kid, except those who got Marco had. Both the kids had a smaller pile. Marco was tricking them into eating that.

Ugh. I wish I got Will or Leo. Or better. A chair. A trucking chair. Is that too much to ask for?

I glared up at Elonzo. All his fault.

"What?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows. "I swear I didn't do anything. And there's no green stuff in that bite." He pointed to the spoon.

I stifled a laugh at his 'what did I do?' expressions.

"Nothing." I smiled.

No matter how much I complain, we all know I love this treatment.

These Mafia men are too adorable around kids.
