Reaching home, we were greeted by silence. That means the cousins aren't here yet.

Ugh. I can't wait to hug the life out of all of them.

"There's my baby." Will said, walking over to me and engulfing me in a big hug.

"I missed you so much, honey." He said.

"I missed you too. It was miserable without your hugs." I said, burying my head in his shoulder, trying not to spill tears already.

"Can I hug her now?" Leo asked, after a long time.

I jumped down and wrapped my arms around him.

"I kicked their butts good." He bragged, while wrapping his arms tightly and protectively around me. I chuckled.

"Told you you should have my version of 'shield' on your devices." I said, smirking at him.

"Yeah. I know. No need to rub it in my face." He grumbled.

"Where's my twin?" I heard someone say as the front door opened and my other siblings walked in.

Leo put me down and I was engulfed in a hug by all of them. Well, Nathan and the older twins at least. Luciano stared at me. I stared back.

"So am I getting a hug on not?" I asked, confused. He smirked and shoved me roughly, before smacking my head and ruffling my hair.

"Missed doing this." He said, before picking me up and hugging me tight.

"You're still an annoying monkey." He said, tightening his hold.

"Whatever you say, you dumb human." I said.

Luciano put me down and we went to sit in the living room, waiting for the cousins.

Nathan sat beside me, his arm around my shoulders while Marco ordered lots of food. Luciano sat on my other side, while Ryder and Tyler made themselves comfortable on the floor.

"When is Zack coming?" I asked, looking at Elonzo.

"In the evening. I don't know why." He said, before I could even ask.

What? Here I am dying to meet him. Why does he have to delay it?

"Don't be sad." Nathan said, stroking my hair. I put my head on his shoulder and relaxed.

We weren't physically away from each other, but it feels like I haven't seen them in years.

"We're home." I heard the A-triplets yell, as we heard the door open.

"Hey." I said, getting up.

And as always, I was passed from brother to brother, while they hugged me and told me how much they missed me.

"Missed you too." I said, on the verge of spilling tears.

These are too many hugs. Too many for me to handle. I'm gonna cry.

"Hey Oldies." I said, looking at Vince, Drake and Emiliano. Vince came forward first and engulfed me in a hug.

"You're so brave." He muttered kissing my head and sighing a little, in relief I'd assume. "We came over two days ago, but you were locked in your room. Me and the other oldies, I mean." He said, making me chuckle at the last part.

"I brought this for you." He said, pulling a small turtle stuffy, literally out of nowhere.

I smiled, pulling away. I could feel the tears flowing down my cheeks.

"Thank you." I sniffled. "I missed you so much."

"Hey. Ssh. Don't cry. Things like that happen." Drake said as all the Oldies crouched down before me. Emilio hugged me tightly.

The past days have made me realize how much they care for me and love me. How much attention I get in this family. That has made me afraid. Afraid that someone will try to take this life away from me, like they tried. Afraid that maybe, we'll have to go our separate ways someday. I can't lose any of my brothers.

I hugged Emilio tightly. I don't want any of them to go away.

"Are you okay?" Drake asked, as I pulled away. Emilio wiped my tears away.
I nodded.

"Come on. Enough with the tears." Drake said, leading me over to the couch and sitting down with me between the oldies. Elonzo stood leaning against the wall, looking at us adoringly.

"It must be hard to be the only sister to twenty five brothers." Elonzo said, looking at me then, at the brothers.

"No. Its great." I chuckled. "More brothers means more hugs and cuddles."

I looked at him and..
WHAT?

Trucking Elonzo Romano, the king of being emotionless, just smiled. Like the corners of his lips lifted up and stayed there for sometime. Not just a twitch, the sides of his eyes wrinkled. AN ACTUAL TRUCKING SMILE!!

And dare I say, he looked almost as pretty as me. But he couldn't reach my level. I still beat all of the Romanos in that competition.

Poor kid.

"What is happening to you?" I asked, as Elonzo took a seat near us. I leaned more towards him and whispered.

"Are you an alien? Don't worry you can tell me. I won't tell anyone." I said, before adding. "Well, except my best friends."

"No, I'm not." Elonzo rolled his eyes, ruffling my hair. "Its just adorable to see these 'ice cubes' so sweet and warm."

"Thanks to me." I said, cheekily.

"Right. You're their only sister." He said, stating the obvious reason.

"What are you gossiping about?" Vince asked, looking at me and Elonzo. We looked at him and shrugged.

"Nothing." I said, smiling a little.

Nathan flipped through movies.
"What should we watch?" He asked, not liking anything.

"Can we go on vacation?" David asked, looking at the Oldies.

"Where?" Emiliano asked.

"Anywhere. All of us." Daniel agreed.

"Great idea." Ace said, looking hopeful.

"We'll discuss it with the parents." Elonzo said, nodding slowly.

"Wow." I jumped excitedly. "How about Italy? I want to see where you all come from." I laughed.

"All of us were born here. Not in Italy. We just have Italian blood, just like you." Dominic rolled his eyes.

"Right." I chuckled.

"When are you coming to stay over again?" Asher asked. I looked at him, then at Elonzo, who narrowed his eyes at the poor guy.

"Never." He muttered, with finality in his tone.

"What? Why?" Austin whined, as Andrew pouted.

"Because y'all cause trouble and are this close to getting in trouble with the law." Elonzo said, bringing the tips of his thumb and index finger close.

"Who told you that? We're innocent." They said, as they looked at him innocently.

"Stop with the fake expressions." Vince said, narrowing his eyes. "Besides, from what I know, you're grounded for an year, maybe?"

"Yeah." Emiliano confirmed. "I don't know how to stop them."

"Why can't you just let us enjoy our lives?" Andrew whined.

"Because if you get in trouble with the police, no one is going to help you." Drake shrugged.

"Ugh. We'll sneak out, baby." Asher whispered, fist bumping. I nodded and smiled at him.

The other brothers didn't bother saying anything or even listening to the conversation. It was an everyday thing, I guess.

"Don't you even dare." Elonzo said, glaring at me, then at the A-trips.

Such a mood spoiler.

"Okay Elonzo." I smiled cheekily.

I snuggled more into Vince and just focused on the movie, listening to his calming heartbeat. He stroked my hair, absentmindedly.

I yawned.
"Want me to tuck you in?" Vince kissed my head.

"No. I'm good." I said, hugging him tightly and closing my eyes. "Its comfortable here."

"You're adorable." He muttered making me smile.

"You too." I said, truthfully.

Its good to see their warm and sweet side, when all they show is their cold and ruthless side most of the time.

THIRD POV.

The brothers looked at a now asleep Evvie, adoringly. Vince smiled down at her, as she curled up and hugged him tighter, snuggling more into him, her head buried in his chest.

"Who knew you'd be like this?" Nathan smirked. The oldies looked at each other and shared a knowing look.

That day flashed before Vince's eyes. The day they found out they have a sister.

"WE HAVE A WHAT?" Vince yelled, still standing in the living room door.

He had just got back home from work when Matteo had said those words.

"We have a sister." Matteo repeated jumping happily.

Vincenzo glared him.
"Are you drunk again?" He asked.

"Come on, brother." Matteo whined, before starting the story. "A girl just showed up at Uncle Stephan's office, saying Aunt Everly is ill and wants to see him and her kids. Turns out that girl is their daughter, Nathan's twin, who Aunt took with her when she ran away."

Vince sat down on the couch, staring at his brother.
"You can't be serious." He said, still not believing it.

God has a weird way of fulfilling wishes and giving you what you want when you least expect it.

"Do we have her picture?" He asked, eager to see how his sister looks like.

A sister.
A beautiful happiness he always wanted. A wish he always wanted to be fulfilled. Something he couldn't even express his gratitude for.

"No. They just met her today, at the hospital. Aunt Everly is dying." Matteo said bluntly. "She'd move in with Elonzo and the others soon.

"How long?" He asked, running his fingers through his hair.

"Don't know. She's not leaving her mom's side. After her death or in rare chances, recovery, she will move in." Matteo told him, feeling happy. Happiness he'd never felt before.

How else could they react to the news? They wanted to cry, scream in joy and dance like crazy.

'Wonder how Grandpa will react.' Vince thought, smiling a little at the thought.

He's definitely going to spoil her rotten.

"How is she?" He asked.

"Great. But has anger issues, maybe. Not surprising. Runs in the blood." Matteo said, before his expressions changed into anger and jealousy. "She has a guy best friend."

Eww.
Bad choice.

Vince scowled. Matteo looked at him and said, "Exactly."

"Can't wait to meet her." Vince muttered, a fond smile on his face.

He still couldn't believe it. A sister. Their baby sister.

"Don't start crying now." Matteo said, chuckling and patting his back.

"I can't believe it." Vince said, shaking his head and chuckling a little. "Please tell me its a joke. And if it is, you're grounded for a year. I don't care if you're too old for that."

"It's not." Matteo rolled his eyes. "You know she looks exactly like Uncle, that means she looks like Grandpa, which further means she looks a lot like you and a little like me?"

Vince actually felt something warm in his chest. He actually felt tears, trying to gather in his eyes.

"Do all of them know?" He asked.

"Yes. Elonzo called, but your phone is switched off. So he called me. I'm sure the others informed everyone." Matteo said, smiling and walking out.

Vince sat there, finally alone and free to be emotional. He put his palms on his eyes, spilling the tears gathering in his eyes.

He had felt that small place in his heart forever. The emptiness. The want for a little sister. They want to spoil her, hug that little person and shower her with love and cuddles.

'Thank You.' He said, as if talking to God, before wrapping up his emotions, gaining his composure and going to work.

Little did they know, the baby sister, about to enter their lives would bring along lots of love, warmth, luck and happiness with her. She'd be the one to break their cold exteriors.

She had that effect on them, before even meeting them. The Romano family felt happier than ever before, the house felt more welcome and every little thing made them smile. Just because they knew now, that there was that little bundle of happiness, they always wished for, waiting to be loved and waiting to see their warm sides, bring out the cute teddy bears in them.
