"Wow. He scares me." I said, talking about Elonzo. Leo nodded and started the car.

We drove to the amusement park, we decided to go to today.

"So, we have two options, we go to the amusement park Elonzo owns and have more fun cuz its our brother's park and we will get caught easily. Or we go to the one that some stranger owns and have less fun, cuz we can easily get away with it and NOT annoy Elonzo." He said.

"Of course." I rolled my eyes. "The first one."

So here we are. In this huge-a, I mean, huge-butt amusement park.

"Let's go to the horror house." I said, pulling him with me.

"Are you sure?" Leo asked, genuinely worried.

"Yes Leo."

I went in there, quite happily. But wanted to get out as soon as the first ghost was seen.

"Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh" That's how I shrieked and started punching blindly, hitting Leo in the jaw and breaking the ghost.

Wait! It broke?

"Its fake?" I exclaimed looking at Leo, who was rubbing his jaw.

"What else?" He asked, looking at me weirdly.

I just chuckled sheepishly.

"Now, I don't have to worry. Let's go, little one. Let's kick some fake ghost butts." I said, straightening up and walking forward with my head up.

About seven seconds later.

"Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh." As soon as the next ghost came, I went like that again.

This time Leo grabbed my fists before they hit him and I was now clinging to his side. Hanging from his side, to be exact.

The fake ghost broken before me.

"It was fake?" I asked again.

"We can still quit." He said, huffing.

"No. I won't be scared this time. They're fake." I said, again straightening up and walking forward with my head up.

"Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh."

And the whole screaming and asking if it was fake thing repeated until the fifth ghost, after which the guards finally caught us. I damaged a lot of those fake ghosts.

So here we are sitting in the guard office type room, awaiting our sentence.

Leo looked at me with furrowed eyebrows now and then.

I can understand why he's so confused. Leo offered money, but the guard just said, that wasn't needed and made us sit here. Also they should know us. Normally we would get away with it because we are kinda the owners.

A guard came in and I stood up, confidently.

"You are highly mistaken, Mister. I am Evelina Romano, the owner's sister. And this is my brother with me. So, I demand to be let out right now." I said, like a businesswoman.

"We know who you are, Miss. And we were specifically told to bring you here, if you were even seen in the park today, much less cause trouble and damage property." He said, shaking his head.

I didn't notice the phone in his hand, before he passed it to me. Putting the phone to my ear, I shot a confused look towards Leo.

"Got quite the courage to threaten the guard, huh?"

"Aaahhhh! What the Truck?" I shrieked and jumped. My heart sped up. I almost dropped the phone but thanks to my luck caught it midway.

With shaky hand, I put the phone to my ear again and gulped. My throat became dry suddenly and I lost my ability to speak.

"What happened, baby?" Elonzo asked, after almost a minute of silence.

"Nothing." I mumbled.

"Are you sure?" He asked and I looked at Leo, with a horrified expression on my face.

I'm going to run and never come back.

"Yeah?" I said, but it came out more like a question. I chuckled nervously.

"Now, I'm almost done for today and I'm about to head home. You two better be in my office by the time I reach there. In.Seperate.Corners." He said, putting emphasis on the last three words.

Why is this man so scary?

I nodded, gulping again.
"You know I can't hear nods, baby. You there?" He asked.

How did he-? How did he know I nodded? He can't even see me.

"Yes, Elonzo." I muttered and hung up after he said, goodbye.

"We're in hhhuugggggeee trouble." I said, extending the word huge.

"That huge?" Leo chuckled.

That trucker had the audacity to joke.

"That was Elonzo and he said 'Now, I'm almost done for today. You two better be in my office by the time I reach there. In.Seperate.Corners.' " I said, making my voice heavy, mimicking Elonzo.

I glared at the guard.
"You snitch." I said, moving forward, threateningly. He gulped and back away a little.

"Let's go. We don't want him to reach home before us." Leo said, as he grabbed my arm and ran to the car. I let him drag me with him, while yelling at the guard and threatening him.

"We can just run away, you know." I muttered. My heart was beating fast against my ribs.

"No. He can still track us and kill us. But we can surely run faster." Leo smirked as we suddenly started zooming through the roads, with some drifts here and there.

He's going to die this time, if Elonzo finds out we speed drove back home.

"Wow. You're so cool, Cool-Bro." I yelled.

"Thanks, Cool-Sis." He said, as he slowed down and we pulled into the driveway.

----------

"How long is he gonna take?" I asked, frustratedly.

We were sitting in two seperate corners of Elonzo's office.

He said, I'm heading home. I don't know whose home he's heading. His office is like fifteen to twenty minutes away. And we're sitting here for about one and a half hour already.

"Long enough to torture us to death." Leo muttered. "He's doing this on purpose."

"You are well aware you're not allowed to speak."

I fooking jumped and almost hit my head on the ceiling.

Exaggerating.

Elonzo stood in the doorway, while I just stared at him wide eyed. His glare shifted to me and I immediately turned back towards the corner and gulped.

I'm not even married yet.

I heard him walk over to his desk and sit down.

"Come here." He said, as Leo and I stood up and walked over to his desk. Fingers crossed he doesn't shoot us.

Looking at Elonzo properly, I could tell he had showered and changed.

This trucker. He really did make us sit that long on purpose.

We stood there, while Leo complained under his breath about how he was too old to sit in timeout or be lectured.

Why can't he shut up? Elonzo hears everything.

"You're also too old to be causing trouble." Elonzo stated plainly, glaring at Leo.

"Sit down." He said, getting up and standing at the side of his desk. Leo sat in the middle chair.

Ugh. I was gonna take that one.

Not wanting to be that close to our death, I sat on the chair next to Leo's and away from Elonzo, who stood at our left side, close to the only empty chair now.

"Kids." He muttered.

"Right. Kids are scared of sitting near you." I muttered as Leo stifled a laugh.

"I'd be very quiet, if I were you, baby." Elonzo said, in a warning tone.

But you're not. That's why you don't know, how hard it is for me to shut up.

'Thank God. You're learning to keep your thoughts to yourself.'
The voice said.

"What did you do today?" He asked. I felt my chair being pulled back and looked to my side, to see Leo's chair was going back too.

What the truck? That hulk, just pulled us both back together.

Elonzo stood before us, leaning against the desk.

"So?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Uhhh.. We just went to the amusement park. We didn't even cause trouble. It just happened." Leo said, whining at the end.

That's true. We were still thinking about what to do. We didn't intend to get in trouble that soon.

"Hmm.. You went to the amusement park after I clearly told you to stay home? After I made it clear that you're not going on your Cool Bro-Cool Sis date?"

"Yeah." I said, not looking at him.

"Hmm. And you went to the horror house?" He asked, looking at me, a glare on his face.

I nodded.

"Then, I think you're courageous enough to sleep alone?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

I pouted.
"No."

"How many times have I told you to stay away from these things that scare you?" He asked.

"I don't know." I mumbled.

"Damaging the property? Seriously?" He said.

Ugh. When is this going to end?

"You're not getting any pocket money for the next two months." He stated.

"But Leo doesn't get pocket money?" I pointed out.

"He's not getting his salary for the next three months. So, no extra stuff for you two for a long time." He said.

Wait! How am I going to donate then?

I shot up and sat straight.

Elonzo looked at me and I saw a hint of smile on his face.
"I'll handle it."

He knows? HE FREAKING KNOWS!

Then his expressions turned stone cold again.

"I don't know, how to get it through your head. You speed drove again, on the way back." He clenched his jaw, while glaring at us. "I'm tired of repeating the same lecture again and again."

"Its one thing, to cause trouble. But its another to put your life in danger. I don't want your lives in even the slightest of danger. I don't know how else to explain that to you." He said, sounding really worried yet angry.

"If you two really want to cause so much trouble, I will keep you away from each other. Leo can go live in the penthouse for a while, if you keep this up." He said.

"WHAT?" We shot up.

He won't do that. Right?

"Yes. Unless you want to stay away from each other, I suggest you start behaving and stop putting your lives in danger." He said, simply.

I clenched my jaw and glared at him. I grabbed Leo's arm and pulled him with me towards the door.

"Where do you think you're going?" Elonzo asked.

"We're protesting against that stupid threat." I said, turning around to give him the deadliest glare.

"But I didn't enforce that yet." He said, smirking slightly.

"That 'yet' is annoying." I said, narrowing my eyes.

"I didn't say you can go." He said, narrowing his eyes at me.

"He won't ever do it for real, baby. Stop overthinking." Leo muttered, looking at me adoringly, while holding in his laughter.

I know for a fact, Elonzo heard that and when he didn't deny that, all that was running through my mind was,

Oh?

And then.

Oh!

The embarrassment. How did I believe he will practically kick Leo out?

Uuuggggghhhhh.

"Come back here." Elonzo glared at me, while we shuffled to stand before him again.

"Now, as I was about to say. Since you love getting in trouble, accept the consequences too. So, I want all your electronics and credit cards in my room and you're grounded." He said, while we nodded.

"You're not driving any vehicle for a long time." Elonzo said, turning to Leo.

"I don't expect you two anywhere except your rooms, today. You can come out at dinner time. If you have an objection, you can go sit there." He said, pointing to the corner at the end. He started walking back to his chair.

How. Mean.!

"Well, you said, you were heading home but you lied and took one and a half hour to return. Why don't you join us in the corner?" I asked, sweetly. Elonzo turned back angrily, with a dangerous glare on his face.

He took a threatening step forward. I panicked, grabbed Leo's arm and ran for my life.

Phew. I'm alive.

Now get bored in my room, alone.

Uuuggggghhhhhh.
