"How long?" I asked.

"Its been ten minutes. Be quiet." Elonzo said.

"I thought you'd realize how boring this is." I gritted. This dude should've realized how torturous this is.

"Yes. I know. That's why you're sitting there." He said, simply.

"Ugh." I groaned. "I didn't even do anything wrong."

"Uh huh. Pranking a teacher is not wrong." He said, sarcastically. "I told you on your first day, I don't want you to be involved in any kind of rule-breaking. Yet here we are, with me getting complaints about you getting in trouble. More than the boys."

"But she bothers me." I whined.

"Why?" He asked, in a concerned voice.

"I don't know." I whined. "Just let me go."

"No. You're not going. Why does she bother you?" He asked again.

"I just don't like her." I mumble.

We're talking about the chemistry teacher here. Ms. Jones. I'm tired of her commenting on our relationship and trying to get me in trouble when its not even my fault.

"Then you can sit there and be quiet." He said, making me pout and slump down in my seat.

After some time, I heard the door open and footsteps.
"Hey Elonzo. I wanted to ask if we can go out. I need some important advice from her." I heard Leo say.

"And what do you want to ask her?" Elonzo said. I could imagine him already glaring at Leo.

"Uhhhh... I want advice on something personal." Leo said. I know for a fact he was rubbing the back of his neck.

I love you blackhead.

"Well then. I demand to know that 'personal thing' as your brother." Elonzo said. Bet he's leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms, while glaring at Leo, successfully intimidating him.

"But I can have my secrets too, right?" Leo said, trying again to get me out of there.

"It can wait for an hour. You can leave." Elonzo said, in a dismissive tone.

Ugh. I want to punch this stupid wall.

"Ugh. Just let me take her. It's urgent." Leo groaned.

"You can sit with her here, Leo, if you keep making excuses to get her out of trouble." Elonzo warned.

"And I'll take your electronics, for two weeks." I couldn't help the gasp that escaped my mouth.

What is he doing? Putting a deal before us?

I turned back to look at him.
"You are so mean. Keep the business out of family matters, Elonzo." I scolded.

All I got in return was a glare that screamed 'you know damn well you're not supposed to turn around or speak.'

So as the brave-but-not-so-brave girl I am, I turned back around immediately.

"Fine. I just didn't want my little baby, to be here with an old monster, who can kill with a glare." Leo mumbled, before I heard the door open and shut.

Great! Now I am alone again. For a Mothertrucking Hour.

Uuuuggggghhhhhh.

"You can go." Elonzo said.

I got up abruptly.
"The hour's over?" I asked, gaping at him.

"No. The twenty minutes are over." He said. "I don't want you getting in trouble with a teacher again."

"Okay." I said and ran out to find Leo.

Need to hug the life out of him.

As soon as I left the office.
"Maybe I can come up with an excuse to get her out of there?" I heard Nathan say.

"No, Nathan. Elonzo is not giving up. He'll just take away our electronics and I can't live without them. She can't either." Leo whisper-yelled.

I sneaked up behind them and jumped to wrap them both in a hug.

"Woah. You're out already?" Nathan asked.

"But he said, you'll be there for an hour?" Leo said, with a surprised look on his face.

"You know he lets me go earlier every time." I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah. Let's go." Nathan said, swinging his arm around my shoulder as we walked to my room, with me telling the whole prank thing.

"I don't know what she has against us. I mean, yeah, we disturbed her class many times, but that was just because she was being mean and looked at everyone with disgust." I ranted.

"Good thing, I don't take chemistry." Nathan said, shaking his head.

"Yeah. Or I would have cut her head off, for being mean to you." I said, ruffling his hair.

"But seriously, if she ever tries to be mean to you without any reason. Tell me." Leo said, ruffling my hair. "I don't want someone bothering my little sister."

"Of course." I assured. Although they both know, I won't come running to them, with my problems.

--------

"Hey Elonzo. Can I go out?" I asked, barging into his office and sitting on one of the chairs.

"Where?" He looked up from the papers.

"The mall. Girls day out." I said, simply.

"Okay. Take care of them. I don't want a scratch on any of you. If something happens, make sure you don't bruise yourself." He said, in one breath.

He has probably crammed those lines.

But I know for a fact, Oliver and Henry let me handle everything by myself first, until I've beat someone enough to calm my rage.

Then, I say they couldn't control me, so Elonzo doesn't kill them for letting me fight.

Elonzo just worries too much. A bruise will heal soon.

"Okay. Bye. Love you." I said, getting up excitedly and making my way out of his office.

"Bye. Be safe. Love you too." He said, softly.

"Let's go Oli and Hen." I exclaimed as I pulled them to the garage.

"Can you stop calling me that? Even RyRy is better." Henry whined, like the man-child he is.

"No. Hen is better." I stifled a laugh.

I looked back at them.
"Wait! I forgot my shades." I said, when I noticed they were both wearing black shades.

"Okay. Perfect." I said, coming out of my room with my shades on.

"Let's go." They said, as they started walking to the garage. I walked behind them, my hands stuffed in my pockets, waving my hand at the brothers who were walking past.

"We need to pick up Kate." I told them after getting into the car. They nodded and started driving towards Kate's house.

"I know, you let me handle the fights on purpose." I said, as they both looked at me, surprised. "But we need to be careful, I don't want Elonzo to know."

"Uhh.. He knows." Oliver said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"What?" I gasped. They nodded.

"Have you noticed he says 'don't bruise yourself' and not 'wait for the guards to handle it'?" Henry asked. They've listened to those lines, almost as many times as I have.

"Yeah?" I said.

"He specifically told us, that we need to let you do whatever you want If its not a very dangerous situation or a situation that you can't handle. That's why we let you do your thing and enter at the moment when we think, you've done enough." He explained.

"Woah." Was all I said.

He needs to stop acting like a villain before me. Ugh. Why can't he show how much he actually cares?

We pulled up into Kate's driveway.

"Hey." She said, as she slid in. "Hello, Mr. Bodyguards."

"Hello, Ms. Johnson." They both said, formally.

"It's going to be so fun. Tell me everything about you and Zack. I always told you, you should too. Besides you didn't tell me about your date too. Now we have the whole day." She said, bouncing in her seat.

"Jeez. Calm down." I said, a blush rising.

"Woah. Evvie. You even blush on hearing his name." She said, nudging me. I just looked out.

Truck that pighead.

We were at the mall soon. I kept dodging all the questions Kate threw my way. I didn't want her to see me blush. Or anyone for that matter.

"Hey, Girls." I said, as they all got out of Jenna's car.

Wonder if Dad will let me learn how to drive.

"Okay. Start spilling." They said, together.

And I just stood there, like an idiot, feeling the blush on my face.

With much persuasion, I told them everything, how it happened, how it went. About the halloween party, about the date.

Leaving certain details, of course.

We were now sitting in the cafeteria, eating to our full.

"Do you want anything else?" I asked, no one in particular.

"No, Evvie. We've already ordered much." Jenna said. I nodded my head in response.

"I need to go use the restroom." Kate said, as she got up and walked away.

We kept talking for a long time.

And all that long time, Kate didn't come back.

"She's taking too long." I said, worriedly, glancing over the way she went.

Third POV.

Kate was walking towards the restrooms, looking around at the shops, if she caught sight of something beautiful to buy.

A small shriek left her mouth as a hand gripped her upper arm, while she was passing through the less crowded area.

She looked at the person.
"Jerry?" She asked, looking annoyed and frustrated.

The guy, Jerry, pulled her into an abandoned corner.

"What do you think you're doing? Whoring around. What are you even wearing?" He scowled, looking her up and down.

"What is wrong with you?" Kate yelled at him. "I'm not your girlfriend and even if I was, you have no right to comment on my clothes."

"Oh yeah?" He said, getting angry. "Well, I want you back." He smirked.

Their relationship was toxic. Kate liked him, he played her. He'd just say discouraging things, curse towards her, forbid her to do most things that she liked. But Kate tolerated it all.

She thought he was the one. She thought she loved him.

He was manipulative while Kate was too immature.

"I'm not a toy." She gritted, while Jerry looked wide-eyed at her new-found courage to talk back to him or defy him for that matter.

"Woah. Where did you get that courage from? You know, you can't live without me. You love me." He said, moving closer to her, successfully pinning her against the wall.

"No, I don't. Get away from me. We are nothing now." Kate said, as fear started settling in. She was alone here with this guy, who manipulated her for about an year and made her think she's worthless.

She never told Evvie and Max, but they knew, something was fishy. That's why they were happy she broke up.

Jerry moved away for a bit and frustratedly kicked the wall beside her. She took the chance.

As Evvie told her, she slid her hand in her pocket and called her, careful not to be seen. He was standing in the way, so she couldn't even run away.

Jerry moved back to stand before her and pinned her again, while Kate matched his glare, not showing any hint of fear.

That was something new for both of them.

"And stop texting me from different numbers. You're the one who was abusive and toxic. You're the one who cheated then blamed me for being the cheater." She snarled in his face.

"And if you don't get away from me and my now-peaceful life, I will show you what I can do and I will tell Evvie and Max. Trust me you won't like the outcome."

"Oh. I remember now. Where's that hot-headed tomboy friend of yours? She's the one behind this change, right?" He gritted, his grip on her upper arm tightening.

"Just so you know, Evvie is here and she has vowed to put to back in your place, the second she sees you." She smirked at his slightly fearful expressions.

"I know you can't see me hurt." He said, trying to make her fall in an emotional trap.

"Well I can." She said, finally resorting to violence and slapping him across the face.

He stumbled back, but regained his composure quicker than Kate expected.

"You.." He moved towards Kate angrily and raised his hand. Kate clenched her eyes shut and put her hands up for defense, awaiting the hit that she had experienced way too many times.

But it never came.

Instead she heard a crack and a thud. Opening her eyes, she saw Jerry on the ground, with Evvie standing, towering over him.

She had reached there, just when he raised his hand. Before his hand could reach Kate, she lunged towards him, hands already in fists and punched him on the jaw, putting all her energy and anger in that punch.

"Touch her again, I dare you." She gritted, as Kate just looked at her through eyes, filled with tears.

Jerry struggled to stand up and looked at Evvie. His face showing nothing but anger.

She moved forward and in a quick motion, he was swept off his feet and was on the ground.

"Evvie." Kate said, worriedly. Elonzo will not like this. If she punches, she will bruise herself or break her hand.

"Go back to the cafeteria." Evvie said, simply, punching Jerry's jaw reportedly, looking at him with so much anger in her eyes.

"But-" Kate said, but was cut off, when Jerry, backhanded Evvie and pushed her off and directed a punch towards her. Evvie dodged it gracefully.

The guards rushed over to them and surrounded the fighting people. They just watched as Evvie beat him, waiting for any orders.

"The training is proving useful. Hopefully, I'll punch without bruising, again." Evvie smirked as she kicked Jerry. "Thanks Axel."

Jerry was still trying to hit her as he had done for so long.

But it was clear, Evvie was the stronger opponent.

Kate felt someone walk past hurriedly and she looked at the back of that someone.
