Chapter 21

**

I seriously hate Ashton. Because of him I wasn't able to sleep at night by just thinking about what he has in store for me especially after that kiss. I'm dreading to know. He can take me to a strip club and demand me to dance for him in that...small clothes. I shuddered even thinking about it. I can't get rid of all the possibilities. He can even demand me to work for the cake on my own. If he did that, I'll be the happiest person alive. Reason: I don't have to see his face. And seeing his face reminds of the kiss that I so want to forget.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Alex asked. You see, I'm already at school and I'm standing near my car, avoiding the confrontation.

I pushed my hand forward, staring at him. He raised his eyebrow in question. "You said penny for your thoughts. Give me money and I'll tell you what you want to know." I smiled, sarcastically at him.

He rolled his eyes and nudged my shoulder. "You're an idiot."

"Tell me something I don't know." I said in a sing song voice.

"Did you just..." He asked.

"Yeah, I did sing Selena Gomez." I smiled, cheekily at him.

"You're one hell of a crazy woman." Alex pushed my shoulder.

"Come on. It's Monday. We have announcement today."

"Oh, yay!" He muttered under his breath. I punched his stomach for his fierce enthusiasm.

I know I have to meet Ashton, but the best way to avoid him is by telling him that I have announcement to make and that I couldn't make it. The best! My life motto for today is 'Avoid Ashton at any cost' and I plan on sticking to it.

"You little sneaky bitch. Get your ass right over here!" Amber screamed from across the parking lot.

You see, I couldn't keep the kiss a secret because it was annoying the hell out of me, so I did what a best friend should do. I told Amber everything from the encounter where I promised Ashton to do anything to the kiss and also the message I received last night. And her reaction was to scream my ears out. Not only on the phone, but now in front of me too.

"Uh oh, Crazy women alert." Alex whispered in my ears.

"Save me." I gave him a pleading look.

"No, babe. It's your duty to deal." He winked and pulled a brunette walking with her friends, to him and whispered something in her ears. She blushed furiously, nodding. Alex turned towards me and mouth 'All the Best' and went away.

I walked slowly towards Amber who was looking at me if I were her food, her prey. That's scary beyond any level.

"Uh.. Amber?" I called slowly, giving Chris a strain smile, who was standing behind her.

"How could you not tell me?" She demanded.

"I did tell you?" I said, confused.

"Yeah, you did. 8 hours late!" She exasperated.

"It slipped my mind." I shrugged. Okay, that was something I shouldn't have done.

"I can't believe you," she said, throwing her hands in the air.

Such a drama queen.

"Sorry." I smiled, sheepishly at her.

She narrows her eyes at me, before sighing. "Fine. But only this time."

Nodding at her, we strolled towards the stage. The crowd was already gathered there, thanks to the rest of the members.

"Alright, everyone." I said, calling their attention. "I have to say you guys did a good job. The party was amazing. Also, thanks to the council members for an amazing decoration. Since this party was a success and you people behaved, I think I should begin planning more events."

The crowd cheered and I chuckled.

"Excited, I see. Good. Keep behaving well and more events will come your way. That's it for now." I said, turned to look at Uncle Ben. "Principal Ben."

Uncle Ben made few important announcements of his own and after that everyone were sent to their respective class, including the council members and I. During that time, I caught Ashton's gaze a few times, but steer out of his way. I know at one point or the other, I will have to face him, but later is better than sooner.

Class went by slowly and now it was time for biology. I walked in and took a seat in the middle of the class. To my right sat Maria, one of my friends. I talked to her for a few minutes before the teacher came in.

"Alright, class. I have a surprise for you," Miss Morgan began. A lot of boo's were heard. She rolled her eyes and was about to continue when the door to the class opened. All the eyes turned to the door. There stood Ashton Roy. Wait...

I did a double take and yes, sure there was Ashton walking in, in all his glory. He gave a slip to Miss Morgan, who raised an eyebrow.

"Okay," she dragged slowly. "It seems like we have a new student joining biology."

My eyes popped out of socket as soon as the words left Miss Morgan's mouth. Ashton turned and looked around the class, but settled his gaze on me. He didn't smile, nor did he smirk, just plain stared at me. Our staring contest was cut short when Ashton was assigned to sit next to my left.

Great. Just great.

He walked towards the desk next to me and popped down, throwing his bag down next to his chair.

"Okay, so as I was saying. Your project will be done in partners. This time I'll let you choose the partner. So decide now and let me know." She informed.

I sighed in relief. Now I don't have to worry about being partnered with Ashton, again. I turned to Maria and opened my mouth to ask her, but before I could do so, I heard a voice.

"Miss Morgan?" Ashton called loudly, pulling attention towards him.

"Yes?"

"I got a partner."

"Okay. Who are you partnering with?" She asked, writing something in her book.

"Gwen."

I snapped my head towards Ashton in shock. "W-What?"

"I'll be working with Gwen on this project." Ashton completed.

"But–" I started.

"Okay. Now for the others." She said.

I glared at Ashton, who just looked bored out of his mind. "What the hell? I don't want to be your partner."

"Well, it's already done. So get over it." He dismissed.

"Go to hell, Ashton. I'm not working with you." I snapped at him.

He turned to me and jerked my desk closer to him. I shrieked lowly, not wanting to make a scene. Ashton took hold of the back of my neck and pulled me close to his face. His lips only an inch away from me. I stared at him, wide eyes.

"You don't have an option. It's already done. So deal with it." He said, staring deeply into my eyes. "You didn't come to meet me when I asked you to, why?"

"I-I," I stuttered. I tried to wiggle out of his grip, but he held my face firmly. "Let go, Ashton."

Few seconds later, he reluctant let go of me. I shuffled back in my desk. There was something wrong with me. I don't know why, but I wanted him to kiss me. Weird at all level, but I did.

You shouldn't, he's a player, a small voice said in my head.

Yes! Yes! I shouldn't and I won't. But again, I don't think it's going to be that easy.

**

Following day went by uneventfully. To my surprise, Ashton didn't bother me in our cooking class, just sat and listened to whatever miss said. But knowing me, I can't stay out of trouble for more than an hour, which I am now facing.

Ashton had dragged me out as soon as the school finished, without my brothers noticing. He ordered me, yes ordered me to follow him in my car. I opposed a big time, but I had to follow him. So slamming my door shut, I started the engine and followed him.

We drove to a café, a little far away from school to a place where my brothers won't bother showing up. They wouldn't even know this place. Rushing inside, I strode to an empty booth near the window as Ashton came and sat in front of me and have been staring at me for past few minutes.

"Are you going so say something or just stare, which by the way is rude?" I snapped at him.

"You didn't come in the morning?" He asked, ignoring my hostile glare.

"Yeah, I know that, Captain Obvious." I said, with a sarcastic eye roll. "I think we already established that in biology class?"

"We did." He stated.

"Then why are you asking me again?" I exasperated.

"You didn't give a proper answer then."

"My proper answer is that I don't want anything to do with you. So can you, for once, be generous enough and leave me alone?" I asked, hopefully.

"No can do, princess. I think we already established that we can't leave our deal one sided." He smirked.

"Can't we now?" I spat.

"No, we can't." He said, a satisfying smile on his face. "Besides, I already came to a term. You have to do it."

"I'm not being your personal stripper," I blurted out.

He didn't say anything for a while. My face paled. He wasn't going to suggest that, right?

Suddenly, he burst out laughing. Like really laughing. I blushed in embarrassment. I ducked my head down in order to cover my blush.

"As much as I would love for you to be my personal stripper, I'm not that kind of a person. And I wouldn't want your brothers to kill me, now would I?" He asked, amused to be in this situation.

"No." I grumbled. "Will you stop?"

I noticed his shoulders were still shaking from laughter. Oh god! He is so infuriating.

"Okay. I'll stop." He snickered. "Since we're here. Why not order something?" He called the waitress, who came to our table with a seductive smile.

"What can I get for you?" She purrs. I flinched at her voice. Typical high pitch voice. Ashton gave his ordered with a cheeky wink thrown in my direction.

"What about you?" She sneered at me. Rude much? I rolled my eyes before ordering a small chocolate milkshake, since I wasn't hungry.

She wrote down our order and left, not before practically shoving her boobs in Ashton's face. Desperate much?

Ignoring her, I continue to wait for Ashton to tell me what he wants me to do. I want to avoid it, but I don't think I can anymore. If I try to bolt out of the café to my car, he would probably catch me, since he is playing football, from what I've heard.

"Leave the suspense for someone else and tell me what do you want me to do?" I asked in irritation.

"Let's finish our food first?" He smirked, enjoying my irritation.

"Cut the crap, Ashton." I said, throwing my hands in the air.

"Fine. But you're no fun," he whined, mockingly.

"I'll be fun when you tell me," I muttered, annoyed.

"Okay. So you hav–" he was cut off when the waitress came with our drink.

"Oh for the fuck sake." I sighed. I'm tired.

"What is your problem, bitch?" The waitress screeched.

"Your voice. It's like a dying donkey," I smiled, sweetly. "Or even worse." The last part wasn't meant for her to hear. I don't think she heard that, but judging by Ashton's laughter, she might have got a clue.

"Listen you-" I cut her off again.

"Look, if you want your one time with him, you can have him. I don't give a damn. So if you'll please excuse me." I stood up from my seat only to be pulled back down. I saw Ashton grab my upper arm and forcing me to sit down. I huffed and looked away.

"Whatever your name is, I'm kind of busy. Also I don't do people having eyebrow like you," Ashton said, looking at her apologetically.

She squeaked. "What's wrong with my eyebrow?"

"Everything," Ashton muttered, sympathetically.

She didn't reply, instead stalked away from our table to check her face, I think. I was biting my lips from laughing out loud from the previous horrified expression she had when Ashton said about her eyebrows.

"I'm glad you find this amusing." Ashton said. He, himself is enjoying this.

"What can I say? Some bitches need a reality check," I said, looking the way she went.

"I'll continue from where she cut me off," Ashton said, looking straight into my eyes.

"You have to–"

"Hey what are you guys doing here?"

You've got to be kidding me!

**

Okay sorry! Really!

I was going to write what he wanted but, I think it would be amusing to watch your reaction when I leave it here. I'm bad. I know, but you've got admit it's kind of little bit funny.
