"She's our what?" Alex spoke up.

"You're half sister. She's your father's daughter. Her grandmother just got put in the nursing home and you are her only living relatives left. She will be moving in with us." Sydney explained.

"Mom!" Parker protested.

"It's not up for discussion, Parker!" She snapped.

We all looked at Sydney in shock. I've seen her yell plenty of times at the boys, but she has never snapped like that.

"Yes ma'am" He grumbled, before he stormed off, most likely to his room.

Emily looked terrified.

"Emily, do you want to go to your room?" I asked.

She nodded silently.

I asked Sydney which room was going to be hers. I led her up to her room and sat with her.

"How are you, Em? I know this can be overwhelming."

"I'm not great but I'm hanging in there. I don't know how to feel about having five half brothers that I didn't even know existed. I had no idea my dad even had another family, before mine. And that's not even mentioning I have to move schools in the middle of the year and make new friends, not that I had much at my last school. Plus they all looked they hated me." she cried.

I wiped her tear streaked face.

"Emily, they don't hate you, they are just shocked is all. They didn't know about you either, Em. This is new to everybody and we're all just going to have to figure things out as we go. Trust me, the guys will love you. They're so sweet and loving. Everything will turn out good in the end, I promise" I gave her one last squeeze before I left her to go to bed. After the long emotionally draining day she's had, she's going to need it.

I walked to Parker's room and knocked softly on the door.

"Go away, Mom" He grumbled from inside.

I opened the door, knowing it was unlocked. He was laying in bed facing the wall.

"Last time I checked I'm not your mom and If I was that would be a big problem" I joked. I picked up the blanket covering him and got in bed next to him.

He turned around to face me and pulled me closer to his body.

"How did you meet her?" He asked, curiously.

"On the plane ride to Kansas this break. She and her grandma sat by me on the plane. We hit it off, I guess."

He nodded in acknowledgement. "I can't believe he had another family and didn't even tell me, or any of us. We told each other everything and he never thought to mention that he had another family. A whole fucking family."

I ran my fingers through his hair to calm him down a little bit.

"If it makes you feel any better, she didn't know about you guys either. She was just as clueless as you"

"Are you seriously picking her side right now?" he pulled away from me.

"Parker there are no sides here. Y'all are her only living relatives, she had no where else to go. She's living here no exceptions, Sydney made that pretty clear in the living room. Not to mention it's Christmas. She was left with nobody and nobody should be alone, especially on Christmas."

He fell back down to my side with a sigh. "You're right"

"I know" I smirked.

"Wait, I have to get you back to your house. I was supposed to take you home" He sat up frantically.

"I'll stay here" I mumbled. I grabbed his hand and dragged down to lay with me.

"Aspen" He protested.

"It's fine, just kiss me" I smiled.

His body relaxed and he smiled. "That I can do."

***

Poke.

"Aspen."

Poke.

"Aspen."

Poke.

"Babe."

Poke.

"I swear if you poke me one more time I will cut your finger off and feed it to the birds" I grumbled with my face into the pillow.

"Sorry babe I didn't quite catch that, can you say that again?" Parker teased.

I shot him a death glare.

"Come on Babe, it's Christmas"

Realization flashed through my head.

"Oh yeah" I popped up happily.

I raced downstairs to see the rest of the girls in the dinning room eating breakfast.

Del saw me coming down the stairs and was the first one to hug me.

"Del did you stay all night? Abby is going to kill you."

"Don't worry I smoothed it over this morning when I explained the situation and somehow convinced her that Briar and I slept in different rooms."

Right. Emily.

Emily was sitting in the dinning room with the girls. She looked comfortable, but she was silent.

"Good morning Emily, how are you this morning?"

"I'm okay" she answered silently.

"Emily sweetie after we open presents this morning, we'll go to the nursing home to visit your grandma."

"Thank you Sydney" She smiled.

"No problem, Emily. We can also go get your boxes from your old house and redo the your room today. Or another day if you're more comfortable doing that."

"Can we do it today?" She asked timidly.

"Of course" Sydney smiled at Emily, before she left the room to go to the living room.

After all the boys were up and everyone ate breakfast, we went to the living room to open presents.

Everyone got a present, even the girls. The boys wanted to wait until Christmas day to give the girls their gifts.

To my surprise, even Emily got a couple presents. The look on her face when Flynn handed her her presents was priceless. She looked so happy and shocked. It made a warm feeling bubble up inside me.

"This is for you" Parker whispered and handed me a small box. he pressed a kiss to my head and sat down on the floor next to my seat on the couch.

We all opened out gifts at the same time. Flynn drew me a picture of us together at the park. It was so cute. He put it in a box and wrapped it all by himself.

"Thank you Flynn, I'll hang it up in my room"

I unwrapped the small box. I gasped when I saw the gift inside.

"Parker" I whispered. "Oh my gosh it's beautiful"

It was a necklace. It had a beautiful intricately shaped pendant on it with a diamond in the middle.

"I love it" I sighed with happiness

"Just to remind you how much I love you" He looked up at me. I kissed his lips in thank you.

"Ew!" Flynn squealed. I looked up to his eyes covered by his tiny hands.

We all laughed at his reaction.

"Kiss on your own time" Ashton grumbled.

"Just because you don't a girlfriend, doesn't mean I can't kiss mine" Parker joked and threw a crumbled up piece of wrapping paper at his head.

"I quite enjoy my worry free life, thank you very much"

"What life?" Briar cut in from the other side of the living room.

We all laughed and opened the rest of the presents.

Savannah and I helped clean up the wrapping paper , while Briar drove Del home.

"I'll see you later okay?" I said to Emily and hugged her tight. "Have fun with your grandma and tell her I said hi"

"I will" she hugged me on more time before I had to leave.

Parker drove me home. It was almost ten thirty.

"I'll walk you up" he offered. I stopped his hand as he made a move to unbuckle his seat belt.

"You probably shouldn't, my dad is probably pissed right now. I never texted him and updated him."

"Okay, well be careful okay? Call me when you can, if you can. I love you"

"I love you too" I leaned over the center console and kissed him.

I cautiously walked up to the door and opened it.

Dad was standing there with his arms crossed. A scowl replaced his normal smile.

"Dad I can explain" I said quickly before he could start yelling at me.

"Explain why you stayed over at your boyfriend's house after you told us you would come home without telling us where you were."

"I know, I know it sounds bad, but I have a good reason I swear. Sydney got n emergency phone call late last night. She and dean left to attend to that. We all started a movie and the living room before we left. We finished the movie we were watching at like ten thirty, we were about to get ready to go home I swear. Then Sydney and Dean got home with Emily." I explained the rest of the situation.

"Okay, Aspen I understand, but seriously not a single text message, phone call, anything?"

"I know it was stupid of me. I just got all caught up in everything it slipped my mind. I'm sorry. I know I probably worried both you and mom." I put my head down in shame.

He sighed. "You're forgiven. Now let's go have Christmas" The smile I was used to spread across his face as we went to the living room.

Hours later the living room was filled with laughter, wrapping paper, and presents.

"Thank you guys for everything" I thanked my parents.

"Your welcome sweetie" Mom smiled.

"We have lunch with the Sanders at one, so we should probably clean up a little." Mom said.

I had Christmas breakfast with my boyfriend and his family, lunch with my best friend and her family, and Christmas dinner with my family. I don't think this day could get any better.

"Shit" I mumbled.

Dad looked up, shocked by my language.

"Sorry, I meant crap" My cheeks turned a shade of red.

"I don't care that you cuss as long as it's not hurtful to someone else. I was just a little bit shocked. What's wrong?"

"I left my clothes at the Haywood's. I never grabbed them before I left this morning."

I know that sounds like a bad thing to say to my dad, but he was there when we got the pajama presents and when we all changed into them. He knew Parker and I wouldn't go that far. As far as he's concerned, I slept in the guest room with Del.

I put on a white off the shoulder sweater and a cute pair of jeans, with a red beaded necklace. I wore it with a pair of blank ankle boots with a small heel.

We met the Sander's at the restaurant, since they were at Del's grandma's house.

"You look so cute!" Del hugged me.

"I was going to re-wear last nights outfit, but I left it at Parker's so that didn't work in my favor."

She laughed with me.

"Hey Abby, nice to see you again" Mom said as she hugged Abby and Chuck.

"Let's eat!" Dad announced and we all headed into the restaurant. It wasn't that packed thankfully.

I ordered sweet tea and Del ordered a Dr. Pepper. Mom ordered a charcuterie board for an appetizer.

"So girls how was the party without all the adults?" Chuck asked.

"It was good we just watched a movie before everything happened" Del answered.

"Can you explain what happened one more time?" Abby asked.

I knew  she was skeptical over everything that happened. It seems a little far fetched but it's the truth.

Del and I explained together exactly what happened. Except for the fact that we didn't actually sleep in one of the guest rooms. I'm not sure they totally believed that part, but they didn't say anything about it.

The waitress came back with our drinks and asked for our orders.

"Can I have the club sandwich, with chips and extra pickles on the side please?" I asked and she nodded, before she wrote t down on her note pad.

The rest of the table ordered. The waitress went to go put the orders in, promising they'd be out soon.

For the rest of lunch, we shared some of our favorite Christmas stories and of course the most embarrassing ones.
