Quinn's pov

I jumped and then moved away from where I was sitting. I crawled over to Colby and sat down on his lap.

I leaned back and fell against Colby's chest.

"What?" Colby asked "what did you hear?"

"I dunno but I could've sworn I heard like a leave or something."

"Well we can't leave," Sam said

"Why not?"

"Because we have to stay."

I groaned and Sam ended the seance.

I didn't move. I was staying in the touch of Colby. His arms were around my hips and we stayed there.

"Guys let's just go to bed and we can leave in the morning okay? I'll set up the camera so we can catch it if anything happens," Sam setting up the camera.

"Fine by me," I got up and claimed the bed closest to the door.

I hopped onto the bed and sighed.

Colby came up and laid down next to me.

"Are you alright?" He asked quietly

"Yeah I'm fine, why?"

He didn't reply.

"Colby?"

"On the plane before we left. You like.. heavily zoned out. What was that about?"

"Oh,"

"Quinn you can tell me,"

"I know I can," I took a breath "that was my first time on a plane and back in 8th grade I swore to myself I'd never get in a plane brocade that's how my parents died. And when I thought if that I had a very vivid flashback to when I found out."

Colby paused then flipped onto his side.

"You're okay. I promise," he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer to him. "While you were zoned out you kept saying like 'I should died with them, I shouldn't be here. Why could I have died? Why? I should be dead, I don't deserve to be here. I should've died on that plane with them. I should died. It's not fair. I should went with them,' over and over and it scared me. It truly did.

"Well I'm okay now. See?" I copped his face with my hands and smiled.

He returned the smile.

"Now I'm really tired so can I go to sleep now?"

"Yes," he laughed quietly.

I rested my head against the pillow. and closed my eyes.

"Good night guys,"

I heard Katrina and Sam say goodnight back and Colby kissed my forehead.

Colby hugged me tighter and one of my arms was rested over top of him. I felt my body get heavy as I drifted off to sleep.

(Quick but important a/n: okay so guys this is a short chapter I know but... this book is now officially tied with chapters for my longest book. Tied with Adopted into a famous life they both have 36 official chapters. So wow. I never thought I'd be able to write more than 36 chapters but here I am. I still have the whole ending to write so stay with me )
