Maggie

I still couldn't believe I was going on a date with Nash. It was weird. I grew up next to him my entire life. He and his brothers used to run over my barbies with their remote-control cars. Now I'm going on a date with him. He was my first kiss. The infamous food fight in the kitchen was when I had my first kiss. I had no clue what I was doing when it happened.

I finished getting ready as Nate gave Nash ground rules.

Nash

"There's no improper touching, roaming hands, or pressure."

"Shouldn't a father encourage their sons to do nasty things with a girl?"

"Yeah, for the most part. It's the first time I'm acting like a father figure to a teen girl." He sat next to me. "I have to tell you, son. It isn't easy to juggle two different kids. I want to give you advice, but I want to protect Maggie."

"It sucks, doesn't it?"

"You have no idea." Dad waved his hand in the air with an expression of helplessness.

I helped Maggie get ready, and when we finished, we came downstairs. Nash and Nate both stood. "Any advice?" Maggie asked me.

"Yeah, don't get pregnant."

She gave her a weird expression, then walked over to Nash, and they left for their date.

"Well, that went well," Nate said.

We walked to the car.

"What was with a weird face?" Nash asked me.

I opened my car door. "I asked your mom for advice."

"And?"

"She said don't get pregnant."

He chuckled as we got into the car. Nash drove to a diner. We hurried inside to find a booth, then scanned the menu.

"You gotta be kidding me?" Bryson stood there. "Can't you eat somewhere else?"

"Well, this place is cheap, and we're hungry? So, no," Nash said.

"What if I don't want to serve you?"

"Then you can get us a manager, you tool." Nash smirked.

"Whatever. What do you want?"

"I'll have a burger, fries, and a chocolate milkshake," I said.

"That sounds good. I'll have the same," Nash said.

"Fine. I'll be right back," Bryson said.

"Oh, and Bryson." Nash stopped him. "Don't even think about spitting in our food or anything else you have planned, or I'll beat the shit out of you."

Bryson's shoulders slumped as he made his way to the kitchen. I chuckled.

Once our food arrived, we talked while eating. Nash and I had a lot in common with similar tastes. It ranged from movies to books to music. He spoke about what it was like to backpack through Europe. He made me smile. We talked about stuff we did as kids. Our childhood was funny.

After we ate, we headed to the movies. I took it easy on Nash and picked an action movie. We found our seats, and I played with the armrest buttons, moving my seat.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm pretending to be Sully from Monsters, Inc." I grinned.

He chuckled. "Okay, it's cute."

"Come to the dark side. We have cookies." I smirked as Nash roared.

"Will you shut up?" Someone asked.

Nash glimpsed over his chair's back. "Nathan, I'll beat your ass!"

"Dude, chill. It was a joke!"

I glanced over my seat's back. "Are you serious? Was it crucial for the four of you to follow us?"

"Blame, Dad. He didn't want you both to do anything improper. Enjoy making out!" Noah said.

"And Ma doesn't want Nash to knock you up!" Nixon said.

I lowered my face into the back of the seat. Why me? Oh, that's right. I agreed to a date with one of the Gray brothers. It meant going out with each brother.

"They can make out. Free porn!" Nolan said.

"Nolan, you're such a perv!" Nixon said.

Noah hauled off and smacked Nolan on the back of his head.

"Welcome to the family, Mags."

I arched an eyebrow and groaned. Welcome to the family, indeed.

We snuck out of the movie theater before the boys caught us, and Nash drove us to a secluded spot. I looked around and then at him. "You won't kill me, will you?"

"What? No. You've been watching too many movies." He rolled his eyes.

"Okay, then you won't try to knock me up, will you?"

"Sure, and have my parents kill me. No, thanks."

"Then what will you do?"

"This." He pulled me to him and kissed me. We kissed for a while, then he stopped.

"Did I do something wrong?"

"No."

"I did. I'm a terrible kisser." I sighed.

"What? No. You're a fantastic kisser."

"Then why did you stop kissing me?"

Don't judge. You were thinking the same thing.

"Because I need to ask you a crucial question."

"You won't propose, will you? Because, well, it's our first date. That would be sudden."

He rolled his eyes at my foolish statement. "Mags, we need to be a couple before that happens."

"What?" Then I realized what he meant. "Are you asking me to be your girlfriend?"

"Well, do you accept?"

My eyes widened. "You want me to be your girlfriend."

"Well, that's what a couple means."

"What about the girl at the apple orchard?"

"Sarah?"

"Yeah."

"Sarah is my ex and engaged to a buddy of mine."

"Oh." Now I felt like a tool.

"FYI, jealousy is an excellent look on you. Your nose scrunches up, and you get these short lines right here." Nash pointed to a space between his brows. I laughed as he smiled at me.

"You were my first kiss."

His brows raised. "Oh?"

"Hello! For four years, I had pined for a tool."

He chuckled. "Well, I hope I'm your first and last kiss."

My cheeks heated, and I covered my cheeks.

He pulled my hands from my cheeks. "Don't. I love it when you blush." That made me blush more as he smiled.

Then someone tapped on the window. Nash unrolled the window as a light flashed in his face.

"Excuse us, sir. You're in an unauthorized section," a deep voice said.

"What?" He squinted at the person.

"You're in a place you shouldn't be, you tool. Damn, you're dumb."

He gripped the steering wheel. "Nix, I'll kill you if you don't get that damn light off me."

He turned it off and leaned in. "Did you ask Maggie?"

Nash glanced at him. "What do you think?"

"Did she say yes?" Noah asked him.

Nash looked at me. "Did you say yes?"

"Yep," I said.

He turned to them. "Mags said yes."

"You didn't knock her up, did you?" Nathan asked him.

"I have no words for you," Nash said.

"I'm just checking." Nathan smirked.

"So, does this mean I can't steal her bras anymore?" Nolan asked him.

"Nolan, when did you ever steal her bra?" Nash asked him.

"Never mind. I said nothing," Nolan said.

He glanced at me, and I said, "I'll fill you in later."

"I missed a lot while I was gone."

"More than you know." I giggled.

"Now, if you idiots don't mind, I'm taking my girl home," he said.

The brothers stepped back while he started the car and pulled out of the spot.

Nixon

"Do you know what this means?" Nathan asked.

"Oh, yeah," they said. "Fresh meat."

"Nash will kill us." Noah sighed.

"Eh, he'll get over it," Nixon said.

"This should be good." Nathan rubbed his hands together.

Yep, we had plans for Nash and Maggie and wanted to have our fun. Except we weren't aware that we met our match with Maggie.
