After our fun weekend at the cabin, the boys were acting a little shadier than usual. What did those dinks have planned? With them, you never know. All I wanted was to focus on school, considering Junior year was ending in a few months along with Nash. I mean, who wouldn't want to focus on someone like Nash? Sigh.

Nash

I knew Mags would get suspicious of what we were doing, but I wanted to pull this off the right way. I roped my brothers into helping me along with my parents. I knew they would be more than happy to help. I just needed to make sure she didn't get wise to what we had planned. I enlisted the girl's and the other's help in keeping her occupied.

Nixon, Nathan, Noah, and I made phone calls and arrangements as we checked things off our list. I was arranging things when Nixon walked over to me. I finished my phone call and looked at him. "Everything set?"

"Yep, Nathan and Noah are finishing up their lists."

"Dad, ma, and Nolan are handling things on their end. Ma said they would set everything when we get home."

"You know, this will be one hell of a surprise," Nixon added.

"I want to do this right. What better way than with everyone there?"

Nathan and Noah walked up.

"All set?" I asked them.

"Yep, we just finished up," Nathan replied to me.

"I got to hand it to you, Nash. She will be excited," Noah commented to me.

"Good," I told them as I smiled.

"I'm glad you did this," Nixon said to me.

"I am too. So much has happened between us, and when I think back on it all, it's crazy to think, I almost lost Mags so many times. All because I was stupid," I sighed.

"What made you realize she was the one?" Nathan asked me.

"When she didn't remember us. Seeing how broken she was when we broke up was nothing compared to her, not remembering any of the time we were together. The good, the bad, it went all of it. She wouldn't even look at me like she did before. I hated it," I said with my voice trailing off. Just thinking back when she awoke the first time missing a chunk of time, I thought, no biggie, we could work through it. Then the second time she awoke with no recollection of us at all, felt like someone had ripped my heart from my chest. She wouldn't even let me hold her hand, and she thought she still liked Bryson. I didn't have the heart to correct her.

Just thinking about it made me shake my head.

"Nash, she came back to you," Nixon reassured me.

"What if she didn't?" I looked at them. "Do you have any idea what it was like to watch her fawn all over Bryson again? Then even when she's told what he did, she didn't just jump back into my arms. It was like she was afraid," I replied sternly to him.

They looked at me with concern.

"She acted differently. She wasn't the same girl anymore, and what terrified me the most is that she would walk away for good," I told them, hating the possibility of that happening.

"Yeah, but she found her way back. Think about it," Noah reminded me.

"Nash, Maggie may be different, but if it meant to be, it would be," Nathan added.

"Even though you were a tool and almost screwed it up once again. But then again, when aren't you messing up?" Nixon asked me.

I gave him a look. Leave it to Nixon to point out the obvious.

"He's right. If it weren't for us, you two wouldn't have gotten together in the first place," Nathan added.

"What is this? Gang up on Nash day?"

"No, but no offense, big brother, you suck at this," Noah agreed.

I stood there and looked at them with annoyance. Leave it to my brothers to give me a hard time about this.

"Nash, with Maggie, you are an essential tool that walks the face of the earth. First, you can't even ask her out without us helping you. You can't hold on to a relationship with her, without sticking your foot in your mouth. Finally, you got dumped by her because you were like, 'oh, hey, I'm not sure if I have a girlfriend, but maybe I can give you a freaking chance, even though she is standing right here with me.' Sound familiar?" Nixon looked at me.

"No need to remind me of my stupidity," I huffed.

Nixon walked over and placed his hands on my shoulders. "Oh, brother, don't worry. I will always be here to remind you of your stupidity." He smirked at me as I rolled my eyes at him.

"Someone has to consider being the oldest. You sure are the dumbest out of all of us," Nathan retorted.

"Okay, fine, I get it," I told them, letting my irritation grow.

"No, I don't think you do. See, you say you do, but it's only a matter of time before you completely screw this up. Therefore, we are helping you." Noah smiled while Nixon and Nathan nodded in agreement.

I rubbed my head. Why did I ask them for help again? Oh, that's right, because I am a glutton for punishment.

"Well, since you three have reminded me of all my wrongdoings, how about I return the favor and remind your girls of the stuff you boys have done?" I countered.

Their expressions changed. "You know, maybe this fresh start is what you need," Noah replied with a change of tune.

"Yeah, that's what I thought," I said as I turned and walked away. Want to remind me of the stupid shit I did, I can do the same. My brothers had to remember; they weren't angels, themselves. Now and then, I had to remind them of this.

We finished up and headed back to the house. I left Marco in charge of making sure he distracted Maggie. When we got back, I opened the door and saw Marco talking to Maggie in exasperated tones. She sat there looking at him, bewildered. Maybe I shouldn't have left Marco in charge.

Jasper and Paul were standing there. "What is Marco doing?" I asked them.

"You know Marco being Marco," Paul answered with a shrug.

I stood there, watching him. He was so animated, and Mags looked so confused. I walked over and tapped Marco on the shoulder. He turned and said, "Oh, hey Nash." He grinned.

"Marco," I gave him a look.

"So, I was telling Maggie about this one time when I met these horrible trolls. Who were evil, evil trolls who prefer money over feelings?" Marco explained. I facepalmed myself. Christ, he was talking about their parents. Mags didn't know what her parents had done. Those memories were gone.

"I have a question," she said to us.

I crossed my arms, trying not to let on; I knew what he was talking about with Mags. Marco looked at her. "Shoot."

"How could these 'trolls' as you call them, be so horrible to their kids? I mean, why would they want to be like that? What do they get out of it?" Her questions were out of curiosity, which wasn't unusual, considering she didn't remember what happened the last time her parents came around.

"Well, first, those are three questions and not one," Marco corrected her.

"What?" She looked at him, confused.

"You said, 'I have a question.' Well, you asked three things and not one. Keep up," Marco said definitely to her.

She gave him a look and opened her mouth before Nixon interjected, "Forgive Marco, sometimes his mouth runs off before checking with his brain," as he walked over and grabbed Marco.

"Hey, I'm not done!" Marco exclaimed.

"You are now, you twit!" Nixon retorted as he dragged him out of the room.

"Nash?" Mags said to me.

"Huh?"

"What is going on?" She arched an eyebrow at me.

"Nothing," I denied trying to save face on this whole debacle Marco created.

She gave me a disbelieving look.

"Nothing is going on, I swear. I had to help my brothers with something," I informed her, only it was them helping me.

"Like what?" She questioned me.

Think fast, Nash. Before I thought, it popped out of my mouth. "Oh, you know, helping them decide whether they should get their dicks pierced."

Nathan and Noah's eyes widened, and Mags looked at me, shocked. Horror filled her face, and my brothers looked like they wanted to kill me by the daggers they were shooting at me.

Nixon walked out of the kitchen.

"Hey, Nix, did you know Nash was trying to help us decide if we wanted to get our dicks pierced?" Nathan asked Nixon.

"What? When?" Nixon asked, looking at Nathan like he lost his damn mind.

"Today, when we're gone," Noah added.

"Oh?" Nixon glared at me.

"Yep, apparently, we need our big brother to help us decide something like this," Nathan spoke through gritted teeth while glaring at Nash.

Kat came downstairs, and Mags looked at her. "Kat, when did Nixon get his manhood pierced?"

She did a double-take. "What?"

"That's what the boys were doing today. Nash was helping Nixon, Nathan, and Noah decide if they were getting it pierced."

"Oh?" She looked at them and me. Great, this would blow up in my face. "You know what? Come to think of it; Nash mentioned something to me about this."

"What?" My brothers exclaimed.

"Yep, he so did," she nodded in agreement with me.

Marcy and Macey came downstairs, and when they realized what we were talking about, they joined in.

"Nathan, I thought I told you I prefer you to get your dick tattooed with my name instead of a piercing," Macey asked Nathan. He gave her an unamused look.

"Yeah, I'm so surprised at you, Noah. Considering you cry like a baby when someone even remotely shows you a needle," Marcy said to Noah. Noah placed his palm on his face.

I had to admit; this worked out in my favor more than I planned on it. My brothers better marry these girls one day.

"I will get something to eat while you talk about your manhood with each other," Mags mentioned while walking into the kitchen.

Nix hauled off and hit me. "What was that for?" I snapped.

"The next time you throw us under the bus, how about leaving our dicks out of it?" He grumbled.

"Sorry, I panicked." I shrugged.

"Well, try not to panic anymore," Nathan snapped.

I didn't care. I would not have my surprise blown by anyone. To me, this was way more important than my brother's dicks. Well, at least I think so. Let's hope Mags loves it.
