Do you know how holidays are fun and crazy? Well, this Halloween was anything but, it's not that we don't like Halloween, but with everything that had happened, it felt like a more somber time, especially for Kat. She loved Halloween, and with Nixon not being here, it made for a rough day.

Unfortunately, the triplets had other things in mind. They had fun the demon spawn way.

We all decided to hang out at the house and watch horror films. That wasn't my idea since I am freaking hate horror films. While Paul, Jasper, and Marco went to a costume party, well, they suck, the triplets said they would trick or treating. Yeah, more like take a kid's candy away from them. Have you met those three? They make Charles Manson seem sweet.

The rest of us settled in to watch movies. The first movie wasn't so bad. Wait, who was I kidding? It was horrible. The next one wasn't any better.

As the third movie started, all the power went out.

"Real funny guys, oh ha, ha, now turn back on the lights," I told them.

"What are you talking about, Maggie? None of us cut the power," Nathan mentioned.

"Yeah, right, you two love pranks. So, I know for a fact, you're behind this," I accused them.

"She's right, knock off you guys," Nash ordered them.

"Nash, we had nothing to do with it," Noah replied defensively.

"While you guys bicker, let me go check out the breaker box," Jace said to us while getting up and making his way downstairs.

"I'll go with him," Nash added, getting up and following him.

They went into the basement and took out their phones.

"This basement is creepy," Jace commented.

"No kidding, let's just check the breaker box and go back upstairs so we can go back to watching the movies," Nash said as they made their way over to the breaker box.

As they were putzing around with the breaker box, we all waited until we heard a knock at the door.

Knock, knock.

We all looked at each other, suspiciously.

"Will someone answer that?" Noah asked us.

"Nope," we all said.

Knock, knock!

"Maybe if we stay real quiet, they will go away," Marcy suggested.

Bam, bam, bam!

"I don't think they're leaving soon," Jaime mentioned as we all looked at each other.

If we died, we would die together. We all got up and went to answer the door when something crashed through the window, causing us to scream and alert Nash and Jace, who bolted up the stairs.

We stood there wide-eyed as they got up and cracked their neck. Okay, there was nothing creepy about that.

"I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting the hell out of here," Nathan yelled as he grabbed Macey's hand and ran, knocking into Nash and Jace.

Then someone kicked the back door open while they held up a butcher knife. What the frick?

They started chasing us around as we tried to get away, with Kat and me running up the stairs only to get met by another person with a machete. What the hell is going on here?

I looked at Kat, and she looked at me as we rammed the machete guy. Oh hell no, I was not dying soon and not by some crazy-ass killer, not today you freaking lunatic.

We ran into our room, slamming the door shut then locking it. Then came screams and someone rams the door.

"Quick out the window," Kat yelled.

We ran over to the window and threw it open. I stuck my head out. "Kat, that's a two-foot drop!"

"Do you want to die tonight? I don't. I would rather deal with a broken leg then die," she said a matter of fact.

"Good point," I agreed as I climbed out of the window and slowly lowered myself out of it until I saw the door bust open and the machete guy goes after Kat. I screamed and let go, falling right into the bushes.

I didn't break my leg, but I did something to my ankle, FML.

I got out of the bushes and hobbled away from the house as the door flew open, and the machete guy, the butcher knife guy, and the other guy with claws came after me.

Then I stopped and turned to them. The three guys slowly made their way to me as I inspected them and realized it was Jason, Michael Myers, and Freddy Krueger. What the frick?

As they slowly emerged on me, I felt someone touch my shoulder, causing me to scream bloody murder. Then I heard laughing.

I stop screaming and turn around to see everyone standing there, laughing. Then I turned to see Carson, Cody, and Caleb pull off their masks.

"That was some funny shit," Nathan said while laughing.

"Oh, hilarious, you guys. Good to know that me spraining my ankle is funny," I said with a glare.

Nash stopped laughing. "Wait. What?"

I hobbled past him. He tried to help me, and I pushed him away, glaring at him as I hobbled up to my room. I sat down, removing my shoe, that was a huge mistake. My ankle and foot swelled, fantastic.

I heard a knock at the door. I knew who it was. I didn't need to acknowledge Nash.

"Mags, let me see your ankle," Nash said as he walked into my room and over to me.

"Why so can you make it worse?" I grumbled.

He took a seat, lifting my ankle onto his lap. I winced when he did that.

"Sorry, I didn't think you would jump out of the window," he mentioned as he examined my ankle.

"Yeah, well, I should have belted Cody," I mumbled, causing him to chuckle.

A few minutes later, we heard people come in; then someone knocked at my door, Jasper.

"Everyone said you had an accident," Jasper commented as he looked at me.

"Just a sprain," I mentioned as I tried not to cry from the pain I felt.

"Hang on, let me grab my stuff." He left the room and Nash, and I looked at each other. He returned shortly with a medical bag.

Nash and he switch spots, and he examined my ankle. "It's not broken but sprained." He reached down and pulled out a wrap and started wrapping my ankle and foot until it wrapped it correctly. Then he placed a clip on it.

"Where did you learn to do that?" Nash asked him.

"I'm studying to be the premed," he said to us.

"Really?" I looked at him with surprise.

"Yeah, I like to help people. It's not a big deal. Plus, they have told me I'm gentle with my hands. It'll come in handy when I become a surgeon," he said with a smile.

Wow, I didn't know Jasper was going into the medical field. I mean, I guess I never really found out what everyone was studying.

"Now, you will need to stay off of it until we can get you crutches," he ordered me.

I looked at Nash. "Hear that, sweetums."

He rolled his eyes. "Fair enough," he said.

Jasper got up, leaving the room as Nash walked over and took a seat next to me.

"I can't believe you guys," I grumbled.

"Hey, if you want to get mad at anyone, then get mad at the person who orchestrated it." I looked at him as he pulled out his cell phone and dialed a number, then hit send. He put them on the loudspeaker.

Yo!

"Nixon?" I said with surprise.

Hey Maggie, did you like my surprise?

"I sprained my ankle," I answered, feeling annoyed.

Well, that was dumb. Why did you do that?

"Because your girlfriend suggested I jump out the window."

And you listen to her? Damn, you are a few sandwiches short of a picnic basket.

"Well, now your brother gets to carry me everywhere." I stuck my tongue out at Nash, who rolled his eyes.

Even better hahahahaha.

"We miss you, Nixon," I told him.

Don't get sappy on me.

There was silence from all of us.

I miss you guys, too. Look, I got to go. They're having group time or whatever the shit that is.

"Bye, Nix," Nash said to him.

Bye, guys.

I looked at Nash. As much as I wanted to be mad at everyone, it felt good to talk to Nixon.

"Is it weird I miss that tool?" I asked him.

He chuckled. "Nope, because we miss him too."

He leaned over and kissed me.

"Okay, break up the sappy shit," we heard someone say as we turned to see everyone at the doorway. Everyone all came into the room and hung out.

"I got the candy," Cody said, holding up a pumpkin.

"You didn't?" I gave him a skeptical look.

"Oh, but I did," he smirked.

Yep, they ended up taking some poor kid's candy. I told you they were the demon spawn.
