Later that day, I had gone over to Logan's house and we both just hung out and watched Netflix.

And no, we did not 'Netflix and Chill'.

But somewhere between watching Clueless and Mulan, I had fallen asleep.

And now, here I am, waking up in Logan's bed again. Though he was not here with me, my heart still pounded with the thought.

Logan seemed to get to me in ways people haven't in a long time.

I felt around for my phone, but it wasn't on me, I figured it must've still been downstairs.

I threw the sheets off of me and reluctantly climbed out of the bed.

I didn't know where Logan or Tanner were so I just casually walked downstairs into the living room.

On the couch sat both of them. "Good morning Sleeping Beauty," Tanner said in a sing-song voice.

"Ugh what time is it?" I groaned and plopped down on the couch between the two.

"11:30." Logan handed me my phone. "Oh and by the way your parents will be home at noon."

"What?!" I jumped off the couch, even though I had just sat down. "Noon?! I have to go. I have to be there when they get there. I- I..." I trailed off in thought, remembering the last time I wasn't there when they arrived home.

I shuddered.

"I can take you Daytona. Logan has something to do in a few, and he can't be late for it. So I'll take you." Tanner stretched out after he finished his sentence.

"Cool, but we need to leave like now." I paced the floor in front of him, wearing down the rug.

"Yea, yea I've got it Princess. Let's go." Tanner grabbed his hat and keys from the coffee table.

It was the first time I noticed, but both boys were fully dressed, looking as if they were playing on leaving the moment I woke up.

I assumed they had probably been up for a while and decided to get ready, or maybe they just went out for breakfast.

I slide into Tanner's red Charger when an odd thought popped up into my head. "Hey Tanner. How'd I get upstairs last night."

In past years I had a slight problem with sleep walking, so I was praying it wasn't that.

And by slight, I mean major.

In third grade I was spending the night at my friend Ashton's house with her and her brother Mason. The next morning I woke up downstairs under their Christmas tree.

Then in eighth grade, some girl had a slumber party and I was invited, let's say I wasn't invited to anymore sleepovers.

So the very thought of sleep walking had my cheeks burning in embarrassment.

"Well I came home late last night, and when I walked in you and Logan were passed out on the couch. By the way, it was super cute and I totally took a picture. Wanna see?"

Tanner pulled out his phone and his home screen was a picture of Logan and I asleep on the couch.

Logan had his arms wrapped around me and I was snuggled into his chest.

My cheek color deepened and tried to ignore the way my heart was pumping every time I looked at the picture.

"Anyways. You still haven't told me how I got upstairs. And why is that your home screen?" I looked at him with questioning eyes.

"Well I carried you upstairs and let Logan sleep. As to why I have it as my home screen, come on! How can I not have my baby brother and his girlfriend cuddling as my home screen."

My heart was a volcano, erupting with emotions long forgotten.

"We aren't dating Tanner." I looked out the window so he couldn't see how flushed I was, but he slammed on his breaks, making the seat belt lock and yank be back before I slammed my face on the dashboard.

"Wait. You two aren't dating?"

"Just finish the drive! Your like twenty seconds from my house, and no we aren't dating." I sighed and crossed my arms.

"Okay well first of all-" he looked at me with accusing eyes, but they were mostly covered by the brim of his hat. "I'm going to have to have a very in-depth conversation with Logan."

He took a big breath, "Second of all: If you two aren't dating, does that mean I have a fair chance to win you first? I mean after all..." He trailed off and whistled, "You are smokin, and I would love to do you all night-"

"In your dreams thanks for the ride." I jumped out of his car, cutting him off before he could go into anymore detail.

He honked twice before driving off, and just as he turned off of my street, my parents pulled up.

I wore a tight lip smile as an unexpected guest stepped out of the car. "Uncle Alex. What a surprise." My uncle stepped out of the back of the car with my dad.

It's not that I didn't like my uncle, I loved him, it's just whenever he was here so was-

"Daytona!" A tall dark brown haired boy jumped out of the car and ran towards me, followed by a smaller girl with the same hair color. "It's been years! How's my little Princess doing?"

"I'm fine Mason. How was the trip. Hey Ashton." I ruffled the girls hair as she gave me a hug around my waist.

Meet Mason and Ashton Sealie.

Mason was a guy around Logan's height who had dark brown hair that used to be nice, but now it fell into his hazel eyes and he had to shake his head to get it out of the way. He had a tan complexion that made all the girls fall in love with him.

Ashton was his younger sister, she was four years younger than him and had dark brown hair that fell to her mid back. It was wavier then I remembered it, but a couple years can really change a person.

"It was a good trip. How's school been treating you?" He had his arm around my shoulder and I had mine around Ashton's.

"It's been good. Hey Ash, you're a freshman right?" She nodded her head and shot me a huge grin.

As kids, she was never much of a talker so I didn't exactly expect an answer back.

We walked inside my house and Mason let out a sigh, "It's just like the old days."

I nodded my head and smiled, remembering the time we used to spend together as children.

(3 years ago)

Mason chased me around the yard and into the house. "You can't run away from my love forever!"

I giggled at his immaturity and ran towards my room. "Woah watch it Day." I ran into Cooper's friend Jason.

"Hey. Only I can call her Day." Cooper snapped at Jason.

He put his hands up in surrender as my brother sent death glares towards him.

I pushed past my brother and his friend and ran straight into my room. As I was getting ready to close it, Mason pushed it open and caught me by my waist.

"I told you, you can't run away forever." I smiled up at him as I met his hazel eyes. He pushed me into my room and kicked the door closed. "Now I've got you all to myself."

I was brought out of the memory when I felt someone dragging me upstairs. "Hellooooo. Is anyone in there?" Mason patted my head a few times as we continued walking, heading towards my room.

"Yes now stop hitting me." I swatted his hand away but I couldn't help smiling a bit.

I missed Mason's playfulness and how he took nothing serious. No matter what, he always seemed to lighten up the mood.

He pulled me into my room and we both plopped down onto my bed. "Do you remember when we were five, and you thought you were Wonder Woman so you jumped off your bed and broke your arm."

I laughed as the memory floated back to me. "Yes I do. And then you claimed you were Superman and carried me downstairs to my parents."

We stared up at the ceiling, reminiscing the good days.

My smile turned to a frown when I realized how much had changed since my Uncle took Mason and Ashton in.

When my uncle took care of them, we stopped hanging out so much. The days where we would spend hours playing turned into every few weeks we would see each other.

I guess Mason could tell what I was thinking because he reached over and grabbed my hand, "Hey, don't think about that okay? I'm here now and that's all that matters."

He sat up with my hand still in his, "What do you say we get out of here. Hit up all the old spots." I nodded my head and got up and followed Mason out of the house and into the garage.

"I see you still have your bike. Oh and you got Cooper's car." My heart warmed when he said Cooper's name and a small smile fought it's way on to my mouth.

"Yup. Which do you wanna take?"

"I've spent several hours in a car, we're definitely taking the bike." He searched the garage for my extra helmet and once he found it I slipped mine on and climbed behind him.

"You know Mason, this is so wrong. I should be taking you around, it's my bike after all." I wrapped my arms around his waist as the garage door slowly rose up.

"Yea I know, but let me take my favorite person in the world out for awhile okay? Tomorrow you can drag me around wherever you want."

"Deal."

An hour later and we had hit up Mike's Gelato, Tony's Pizzeria, and The Cocoa Shop. As freshman, Mason and I used to go to all of these spots and hang out after school.

"Man," Mason sighed as he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me in, "I miss the old days. Today has been so nostalgic."

I looked up at him and gave him a crooked smile, "Wow. Look at you using big words."

He shrugged and gave me his award winning grin. "I've been trying to use one every day so I could finally sound as smart as you."

I rolled my eyes and we walked around the streets reliving every moment of our childhood.

"Wait a minute, is that what I think it is?!" Mason let go of me and ran across traffic, cars were honking at him as he dashed pass to the other side.

"Mason! What are you doing?" I yelled over to him, holding back a fit of laughter.

"The park! It's The park!" I stood on my tip toes to see over the bush and there stood The park.

The park was our childhood safe zone.

As kids, the slides and playsets seemed like jungles and we were explorers. The slide was a giant tree that we would slide down, and the rock wall was the only way to get back to civilization.

But now it stood abandoned for a few years.

Trash blew in the wind and the grass was over grown by a foot, and while the space around it was unkept, the actual playsets were still intact.

I waited for a break in traffic before I darted across the road. I had to stop to catch my breath when I made it. The running had my ribs pulsing with a dull throb igniting withing them, but I stood up and ignored it.

"Woah. I haven't been to this place in ages. It's totally trashed," I said looking around.

"Yea no kidding." Mason stood there with a grim look on his face. "Daytona. We need to fix this place up. Gather as many people as you can and next month we'll all gather up here and fix this place up."

A look of determination rested on his face and I smiled at him, "Alright. Next month it is."

~~~~~
We arrived back at the house around 11:30 that night. We sneaked into through my window, into room.
Mason fell back onto my bed and I walked over to retrieve my phone from the nightstand, which I must've left here.
"Since we missed the non-existent curfew, and our parents would have our heads if they realized we just got home, can I crash in here for the night?"
I nodded my head as I went through my texts. "Just don't try anything or else I'll have to kill you."
I heard him chuckle from the bed and I grabbed some clothes and walked into the bathroom.
I took off my shirt and looked at the ugly bruise that stretched from my sternum across to the left side of my ribs.
It was fading from purple into a blueish, greenish, yellowish color and it was gross.
I quickly threw on a sweatshirt and changed into shorts. Walking back into my room, I was surprised to find that Mason had already fallen asleep on top of the covers.
Sighing I climbed into bed and rolled to my right side. I was facing Mason this way, and a warm feeling spread through me.
I thought of how different things were going to be around here and let those thoughts carry me to sleep.
Wassup my dudes?
I've decided to not do an A/N in the beginning anymore, I'll just do it at the end.
I hope this chapter wasn't too confusing, but if it was, it will all get clarified in the next chapter.
Spoilers (not really):
The next chapter will wrap up Day's and Logan's bet.
Mason will have met Logan and the gang already so be prepared for that.
You will finally find out what happened and who Cooper is.
Now introducing Diego Boneta as Mason Sealie.
That's all for today. Love you all! ๐Ÿ˜˜โค
