Chapter Twenty-two|Tip Of The D'Agostino Empire

Euphoria's eyes fluttered open. Her heartbeat quickened as her eyes connected with a pair of green eyes. A smile graced her face as his eyes searched her face. Seeming as though memorizing and engraving her facial features in his brain.

"Morning baby." Euphoria smiled at him.

"Morning my love." He caressed her thigh. "Slept well?"

"Yes I did. Sal is a great cuddler." She smiled looking at the young boy who had his thumb in his mouth and his other hand fisted her night shirt. He curled up against her. "We should break this habit." She said gently tugging his thumb out his mouth.

"There's a lot I should've done that I'm unaware of." He sighed.

"It's alright parenting isn't easy. You'll get better with time." Euphoria smiled encouragingly.

"You're a natural at this. You're motherly knowledge and instincts remind me of my mama.''

"Thank you and I hope you don't mind that he's calling me mama." Euphoria bit her lip nervously. The last thing she needed for him to think is that she made him call her his mother.

"It's alright. You became his mama when you agreed to be my woman. But, if you're uncomfortable with this please speak now. I don't want him to get attached... I don't want to get attached, if this isn't what you want. To be someone's stepmother that is." He spoke with so much heart ache and yearning it made her own heart squeezing.

"I'm not going anywhere. When I agreed to be your woman, that meant through thick and thin I'll be by your side." She whispered staring into his eyes letting him know that she intended to stay. "Where's his biological mother?" She asked as she began to run her fingers through Salvatore's hair.

"She ran off after she had him. She didn't want me or him." Demetrius frowned.

"Her loss is my gain. I gained two handsome boys in my life." She smiled as Salvatore began to stir from his sleep. "Plus I'm not letting you both go just in case she turns up out of nowhere."

"I wouldn't allow her to chase you away." He propped himself up on his elbow before leaning over and kissing her forehead making her eyes close.

"Mama." Salvatore's sleepy voice gained her attention.

"Wake up sleepy head." Euphoria giggled and removed her hand from his sculp. "Ready to spend some time together?

"With you and Papa?" His excitement over took his sleepy daze.

"Yes with us both." Demetrius said.

"Yes I'm ready." He grinned.

Euphoria had spent time with the boys in Demetrius's penthouse. They made breakfast together. Watched cartoons together and around noon the went and took care of their hygiene. After getting dressed Demetrius told her that they were going to the D'Agostino estate that has been left in his care. Euphoria was above and beyond excited.

Salvatore began to speak of his home animatly during the drive to the estate. He sat between her and Demetrius as he spoke. Euphoria held onto each and every word that left his lips. She wanted to know more. She craved more now that her relationship has began to become serious. It's seems as though once she had finished all her exams her life keeps having brand new events happening after the other.

"Wow we're really far from the city."

"Yes the estate is placed on achers of land. You can't really see it now because it's hidden behind all these trees and wood."

"Isn't that dangerous then?" Euphoria frowned. "You know not having help coming as fast as you need it?"

"There is something you must understand mio amore, my family and my empire have been built from the ground up." Euphoria's eyes darted towards the large mansion that was nearing being a castle that came into view. "We've built a number of networks, alliances and connections. We have influence within the law and the office, not just here in America: both North and South. But, in all parts of the world." Demetrius helped her out of the car and turned her to him. "Needing help as you put it isn't an issue. I could get it within the snap of my fingers. So you don't need to worry."

Euphoria nodded before biting your lip. "But then with such power and influence don't you have a number of rivals? Enemies?"

"Yes I do. Normally it's some amature or someone who believes they can take me on because they have a large empire, not a large as mine, but large. So, they become greedy and start to attack. They take time to be taken care of but not too long." He looped her arm in his. "Come everyone must be waiting for you."

"For me?"

"Yes mama. You are the new queen now and first my new mama." Salvatore spoke up from besides her as he lifted his arms up to her.

"Wait for us to get inside figlio." Demetrius said.

"No it's fine." Euphoria waved him off. "He's just a bit attached."

Demetrius places his hand on her lower back and led her up the steps. Salvatore had secured his hands around her neck as she balanced him on her hip. Euphoria couldn't help but gawk at the large two oak doors that elegantly swung open. The estate was grand. Something that looked straight out of the movies or a magazine. All the luxurious items caught her eyes as looked around. It felt like a dream.

"Mr. D'Agostino, young Mr. D'Agostino And Madam." A man clad in a black suit, black pointy shoes, white shirt and white gloves greeted with a slight bow. "Welcome to the D'Agostino estate."

"Cio Reggie." Salvatore greeted with a smile and wave.

"Cio Reginald. I'd like you to meet la mia donna, il mio amore and mia regina Euphoria. She's to be treated with the utmost respect. You will treat her like you do me and the rest of the family." He stated as her eyes danced on those who gathered at the foyer.

"And my mama!" Salvatore added.

Demetrius chuckled as she, herself couldn't help but giggle at the little boys pride and excitement. "Yes and your mama." He ruffled his her. "Euphoria meet Reginald our butler and house manager. He keeps everything in order here. Making sure everything runs smoothly."

"Hi nice to meet you." Euphoria held out her hand for a shake.

"Madam." He bowed slightly as he shook her hand.

"This is our chef Gaston, the head security in the estate Brandon, the head female soldier Katrina and her twin brother the head male soldier Kaleb here in the estate."

Euphoria shook hands with them all with a smile on her face. Once all pleasantries were exchanged the head staff dispersed to their rightful duties. Salvatore wiggled down and began to tug her to a particular direction.

"Are you not coming?" She asked him over her shoulder.

"No. You have fun with Salvatore. I have some work to tend too but it won't take long."

"Alright see you in a bit." She smiled at him before reaching up and pecking his lips a few times.

"I just realised I haven't tasted your lips in a long time." He tugged her close.

"Down boy." Euphoria laughed. "Don't worry I'll have you missing more than just my lips soon enough." She sent a flirtatious wink at him before allowing Salvatore to pull her away. Euphoria added a little sway to her hips as she felt his stare.
