Blake stared in the mirror, a black skirt that went half way to her thighs and a tight grey shirt was on her upper half tucked in her skirt rested on her body. Her hair was in a similar style she did for her prom as the pendant and her dad's ashes laid on her neck. Her tattoos were on display in the outfit and she adjusted her shoe laces that flipped over more on one side than the other.

She looked at her dad's painting before grabbing it off the wall and sighing. She sat on her bed, holding it in her lap as her eyes danced all over the painting.

"Today is the day dad" she whispered.

Sparrow sat behind her, immediately sensing her sad mood as he inched closer to her.

"You should've been here, I know you would have been the loudest in the crowd."

She glanced over at a picture she had of them together next to her bed, just two weeks before he had passed. They were both so happy.

"I made it, I didn't think I would have but I did it. I hope you're proud of me, it's all I've ever wanted to do was have you proud of me."

She breathed out shakily and glanced at her cap and gown that was folded up on her dresser.

Blake wanted her dad to be here, he had always talked about her graduation. How he would be cheering the loudest in the crowd with a proud smile on his face.

"I love you dad, cheer me on from up above yeah?"

She placed the painting back on the wall before sliding her gown on, carrying her cap in her hands.

"I'm so proud of you Blake" Susie said with a sad smile on her face.

Blake smiled at her and held back the tears that so badly wanted to creep into her eyes.

They headed to the school and Blake couldn't find Jace. She wanted to see him before the ceremony started, she was feeling too sad and needed cheering up.

Jace desperately looked for Blake but didn't see the purple haired girl he loved so much anywhere. "Have you seen Blake anywhere?" Jace asked his parents desperately.

"No, haven't seen her."

He sighed loudly and the teachers directed them to their seats before he could look any further for his girlfriend.

Jace spotted her once everyone began quieting down in their seats, he saw her looking down a bit and her soft hands playing with the necklaces around her neck.

He just stared at her, wanting to send her his support from a distance but he knew it wasn't the same.

One by one they had speeches read, teachers talking about the year that has gone by. Then soon, the students began being called.

The closer it got to the S's the more sad Blake had gotten.

"Blake S" the principal finally called out instead of saying her full last name.

She walked across the stage as she heard loud cheers from the crowd. She turned to see Chris wearing a hat and sun glasses standing up and cheering loudly with Jack making a small smile appear on her face. She glanced at the empty seat next to him and she turned back around immediately to shake Mr. Reed's hands.

"I'm proud of you Blake and he is too" he whispered.

She thanked him and smiled at the photographer as he took her picture before she walked back to her seat.

She clapped loudly for Jace as she heard many cheers erupt in the crowd for him. She stayed playing with her pendant and breathed out.

"You may now turn your tassels."

Everyone turned their tassels making Blake breathe out shakily. She did it. She didn't think she would but she did.

"Congratulations to the graduates of twenty twenty one!"

The crowd erupted into cheers and all the graduates left the auditorium before the audience was able to stand up. Jace pushed his way through the crowds of his classmates and saw Blake leaning against the wall away from everyone, playing with her cap.

"Bubba."

She looked up at him and he noticed the sad look written all over her face as he pulled her into his body tightly.

"I'm so proud of you baby."

She didn't say anything, finally getting the comfort she had wanted an hour and a half ago.

"You did it, he was cheering you on up there you know that."

She nodded and he gave her a sweet, gentle kiss. "I'm so incredibly proud of you Blake."

She smiled at him and their families found them. They all took pictures together and ended up staying with the group of students to watch the sunset together as one last thing they all will do as a class.
