"It's my first game, I would love for you to be on the sidelines."

"I don't like crowds of people, especially from our school" Blake grumbled.

"I know but I want you to cheer me on."

"That's what the cheerleaders are for."

"Blake."

"What? I'm sure Taylor will be cheering you on."

"I really want you to come" he said softly.

She sighed and rubbed her tired eyes.

"What time does it start?"

"Six thirty."

"I'm going home to take a nap first but I'll be there."

"Really?" he asked excitedly.

"Yes."

He kissed her happily and Tony yelled at him to come on from down the hall.

"I won't be able to greet you before the game but just sit somewhere I'll be able to see you from the field."

"Pretty sure I'll be one of the only person with purple hair."

"Right."

"Now go."

He kissed her one more time before running off down the hall.

Blake maneuvered her way through the slightly less crowded crowd. They would usually let more people join but just the people who go to the school and some family of the players were able to go due to corona. It wasn't as bad in this state at the moment but they were still taking precautions.

She sat down on the cold metal bleachers and Jace waved at her from the field. She gave a little head nod making him smile at her.

When the game started she wasn't really that interested. She took some pictures with her camera she brought but that was the only thing keeping her occupied.

Blake never understood why people came to football games. She knew that most of the people here had really no idea what was happening, it wasn't that hard to know that due to the fact most of the bleachers were filled with people not even paying attention.

Who would willingly come to these games and just talk? Blake would so much rather be in her nice warm bed with Sparrow as she read a book.

After the longest hour and forty five minutes of her life, they lost by a couple of points. Which she wasn't quite surprised about seeing as she thought they weren't that good. This was all the hype that everyone was talking about? Rather lame in her opinion.

She waited by her car for Jace to finish in the locker room, not wanting to be surrounded by people who didn't like her and she did not like. There was really no point.

"How'd I do?" Jace asked her after about ten minutes.

He was carrying his bag and his hair was wet from the shower.

"Good."

She gave him a kiss and they got in her car.

"I'm so tired and hungry" he grumbled, he was frustrated they lost their first game.

"Want me to get you some food?"

"Yeah."

She bought him some McDonald's and parked outside his house.

"We aren't cuddling tonight?" he asked with a slight frown.

"Not tonight, I have things to do tomorrow."

"Like what?"

"Hanging out with Chris and Jack then going to the recording studio afterwards."

He frowned, "I ditched the after party cause I thought we were going to hangout" he mumbled.

"You can still go."

He grumbled making her roll her eyes. "Sorry I have plans tomorrow. I haven't seen Chris or Jack since my birthday."

"I know."

"So why are you mad?"

"Cause I figured we had plans, you didn't even tell me."

"I didn't think I needed to."

"We always hangout on the weekends and on Friday nights."

"I know that, but tomorrow I have plans so now we can't" she shrugged.

"Whatever."

"Why is that such a problem for you?" she asked him.

"It's not."

"Clearly it is if you're giving me attitude for having plans that don't include you."

"I just figured we were hanging out."

"Well we aren't, it's not a big deal" she groaned.

"Don't need to be all snotty."

"I'm not being snotty, you're just trying to argue for no fucking reason. No one told you to be mad that I have plans tomorrow. I don't always have to hang out with you Jace."

"Yeah I know you don't need to hang out with me all the time, I'm fucking aware" he snapped loudly at her.

"You can leave now."

"Right, kick me out of your car."

He gathered his things and she rolled her eyes. "Says the one who pulled an argument out of their ass. If you weren't being rude about me having plans then this wouldn't have happened."

"Oh shut up and stop acting like a bitch."

Jace immediately regretted the word that accidentally slipped out of his mouth. Before he even got to say anything she started talking.

"Don't you ever call me a bitch or speak to me like that again" she snapped while unbuckling and leaning over to slam the door shut.

She sped away, buckling up as she does so.

Jace sighed, feeling frustrated and guilty. He doesn't even know why he got so mad, he was just angry that they didn't win and he didn't do his best today. Also him and Tony got into a fight before he met up with Blake because they had always gone to an after party but Jace didn't want to go so Tony got mad at him.

Jace grabbed his keys from his backpack, without going inside he went off to Ethan's house for the after party.

Blake sat in her room, reading a book with Sparrow sleeping soundly next to her. She knew she was a bitch to most people, she honestly didn't really care if people called her it. But being called a bitch by Jace just made a shooting pain shoot through her heart that she did not like.

It was around midnight when Blake got out of the shower and had changed into leggings and a cropped t shirt when Blake got a call.

"What Jace?"

She heard the distant music in the background and she groaned. He was probably drunk somewhere with Tony.

"You not bitch I swear! You're- I'm like so love with- Tony! Leave me alone! You there honey cakes?"

She chuckled softly, "don't call me honey cakes ever again. You're not speaking proper English Jace. Go into a bedroom."

"Me no like sleepin at Ethan's house. Me want to be at your house."

"Stop talking like that" Blake laughed.

"Talk like what? I'm almost at you house.. kinda. I walk away from Ethan's party now."

"Jace what the fuck? Why are you walking alone drunk and stop talking like a child" she grumbled.

She grabbed her keys and rushed out of the house, the cold late September breeze hitting her exposed skin making her shiver slightly.

"I miss you and I is very sorry."

"Okay I forgive you now can you stop walking and stop talking like that?"

"L-like what? You- you're like- you are just very nice."

She rolled her eyes and drove off to Ethan's house. She saw a drunk Jace stumbling across the sidewalk, still on the same street as Ethan's place.

"Stop! I have girlfriend."

Blake shoved him in the passenger seat and climbed in.

"We are going to my place."

"No! Cheating is bad!"

"I am your girlfriend you dingus."

Jace opened his eyes and they immediately brightened seeing Blake.

"Baby! A girl tried shoving me in her car!"

"Really now?"

"Yeah and I- I didn't even get- oh my god it's cat!"

She rolled her eyes once more at the invisible cat he was pointing to.

"How much did you drink tonight?"

"Maybe three thousand cups of a liquid thing I dunno."

"If you drank three thousand cups you'd be dead of alcohol poisoning."

"So smart you are!

Blake didn't bother saying anything as he mumbled on and on about Tony chanting chug to him. She brought him up to her bed and plopped him down.

"Are we gonna fuck right now?"

"No."

"Why not? You so sexy!"

"Can you shut the fuck up? My mom and London are sleeping" she hissed quietly.

"Quiet sex! My favorite!"

"Okay, Jace seriously shut the fuck up."

She stripped him down into just his boxers, "come on I have boner!"

"Jace. Shut the fuck up, seriously."

"Not until we sex."

"If you be quiet and shut your eyes for two minutes then we can okay?"

"Really?" he asked happily.

"Yes, and I'll count in my head."

"Okay!"

He shut his eyes and Blake massaged her fingers through his hair. He fell asleep almost instantly.

She scooted Sparrow to the edge of her bed and she climbed in her bed, facing away from Jace before falling asleep.
