Jace's family walked through the door the following day with their suitcases. Sparrow wagged his tail and Blake gave them all a small smile.

"Welcome home!"

They all gave her a hug, which she stiffened at, as they thanked her for the trip once again.

"We brought you guys candy!"

Jace peeked in the bag of half eaten candies. He grabbed a piece for him and Blake as they both began chewing on it.

Blake swallowed it but almost immediately began to grow hot.

"Uh, what was in that?" she asked.

"Caramel, chocolate, and peanuts."

Jace's eyes widened and he shot his head to his girlfriend as she began growing pale, her tongue starting to swell and her throat starting to close.

"Blake's heavily allergic to peanuts!"

Everyone stood shocked as Blake's hands and legs began growing numb.

The family quickly moved fast and Blake began getting extra hot, now having trouble to breathe properly. She fell but Jace was quick to catch her and carry her to the car.

He held her closely as he watched her gasp for air, worry written all over his face.

"Dad drive faster!" Jace snapped out at his tiredly yet worried looking father.

He held Blake tighter, her eyes glancing at Jace's as she gasped for air. It was the first time that he has ever seen her eyes so panicked and scared, he didn't know what to do.

"A little longer baby, okay?"

Her eyes began rolling at the back of her head but he tapped her face.

"Keep those pretty eyes on me okay?"

Blake tried focusing on Jace but she felt her body slowly starting to shut down as her vision grew fuzzy. She couldn't feel any parts of her body and air was almost impossible to get into her lungs. She felt defeated.

"Baby come no!"

The next ten minutes went by in a blur. They wheeled Blake away rapidly, Jace yelling at the doctors for making him stay away from Blake as his dad held him back.

Jace sat there, staring at his shoes waiting impatiently for anyone to give any news. He ignored his family's attempts to try and talk to him, to try and give him hope. But he never glanced or spoke to them. He tried calling Susie but her phone went straight to voicemail, knowing she is working right now.

Meanwhile, Blake laid on the hospital bed as the doctors worked rapidly on her.

But she had a vision.

"Dad?!"

Blake ran to her dad and hugged him tightly, starting to cry.

"Hi princess" he said softly.

He stared down at his daughter, incredibly proud on how she looked within a year.

"You're so beautiful Blake" Adam said softly.

Blake only smiled and pulled him back into a hug.

"Are you here to stay?" Blake asked him.

"You know I can't stay princess."

Blake frowned at that and looked at her dad sadly.

"Why not? I miss not having you around."

"It's not your time to be here."

"I don't care! I want to stay."

Adam gave Blake a look as she sadly looked at her shoes.

"Want to see my tattoos?"

He nodded with a smile even though he was there when she has gotten every single one despite her not being able to see him. She showed him her tattoos, him smiling at the ones she got for him.

"I love them."

"Really? You do?"

He nodded with a proud smile and held her smaller hand in his.

"You have to go back soon."

"I don't want to" Blake frowned, her eyes starting to water again.

"You have people waiting for you Blake."

Blake knew he was right, she just didn't want to let him go again.

"That Jace boy? I approve of him."

Blake smiled at that, Adam loving the perfect smile she always wore for him.

"It's time to go now princess."

Blake sighed at that.

"We will be with each other again Blake I promise."

"Okay dad, I miss you so much."

"I miss you too my sweet girl."

She gave him a hug, holding him a little tighter.

"I'll always be with you, remember that okay?"

Blake nodded and Adam kissed her head softly.

"I love you princess."

"I love you more dad."

Adam smiled at his daughter and he slowly began to disappear.

Blake grumbled as she opened her eyes. The lights were dimmed slightly so it didn't hurt her eyes as much when she opened them.

She looked around the room and realized she was in the hospital. She hated hospitals.

She pressed the nurse button, still feeling very weak and light headed.

A doctor walked into her room and smiled at her.

"Glad to see you awake Blake" he smiled at her.

Blake didn't say anything, her throat feeling slightly sore.

"Do you have an epipen?" the doctor asked her.

"I have like three."

"You should start carrying them everywhere you go, your allergic reaction was so severe that your whole body started to shut down. If you got here four minutes later than you actually did you would have been dead."

Blake stared at her hands, taking in the information.

"Is my mom here?"

"Your whole family is here" he smiled softly.

"Oh, that's my boyfriend's family. Is there a woman with shoulder length light brown hair out there?"

"I'm sorry, but she is not. Would you like me to share your information with the parents?"

"Sure, can you send Jace in?"

He nodded with a smile and left the room quietly. A few seconds later Jace barged in and relief flooded over him seeing Blake awake.

He rushed over to her and engulfed her into him.

"You scared the shit out of me" he whispered shakily.

"I'm sorry" she whispered back.

He gave her a long kiss, savoring her lips.

"You will carry around your epipen's where ever now okay? I can't lose you."

Blake smiled softly at him and scooted over so he could get in. He climbed right in and latched himself onto her as she combed through his hair.

"I'm okay John."

He gave her neck a soft kiss, and watched her chest rise up and slowly fall down, liking the movement of her breathing to show that she was in fact still alive.

"I had a vision, about my dad."

Blake's words floated in the air, Jace trying to find the right words to say.

"What happened in this vision?"

"I showed him my tattoos, he said he missed me and it wasn't my time to join him yet."

Jace nodded at that, not really knowing what to say.

"He also said he approved of you."

"He did?" Jace asked her.

"Yeah, he said it with a smile too. I can tell he likes you" she whispered.

"I'm glad to hear that."

Blake nodded, already missing her dad even more.

Jace's family walked in, all relieved that she was okay.

"The doctor said that he will hold you over night just to make sure everything is okay and you will be released tomorrow."

Blake nodded, and they all had small talk until Susie decided to show up.

"Blake! Oh thank god you're okay."

Jace's family slowly left the room and Jace got out of bed as Susie hugged Blake. He stepped out of the room as well leaving Susie with her daughter.

"I'm sorry I didn't come sooner, I turn my phone off while I am working, I just now got on my break."

"I'm okay mom, they are are keeping me over night but I'll be all good by tomorrow."

Susie nodded, relief flashing over her.

"I hate hospitals" she sighed.

"I know mom, me too."

"I haven't been to one in almost a year."

Blake only nodded, Susie held onto Blake's hand as her daughter stared at the ceiling.

"I didn't want to lose you too Blakey."

"You won't mom and you know that."

Susie nodded, knowing her daughter is strong and no matter what will keep fighting.

Jace's family ended up going home after Jace told them to go relax from the plane. At first they all disagreed but after persuading his mom it was easy to get everyone else on board.

A few hours passed by and Susie ended up leaving the room, looking exhausted. Jace hadn't moved, only to get a bag of chips from the vending machine along with a cola.

"Excuse me sir? Visiting hours are over."

He frowned at the doctor and look at Blake's room door.

"Can I just say goodnight to my girlfriend? I just want to make sure she is okay."

The doctor sighed and checked his watch before nodding his head. Jace quickly walked in there to see Blake staring at the dark sky.

"Hi baby."

She looked at him and gave him a small smile.

"Do you want me to close the blinds for you?" Jace asked.

"No."

He nodded and walked over to her.

"I have to get going, but I'll be back right when visiting hours start."

She nodded and Jace gave her a sweet, gentle kiss on her lips.

"Please be careful okay? Goodnight I love you."

Both teens froze, Jace shocked that he actually let it slip out this time and Blake stunned that she actually heard that from a boy.

"You, love me?"

Jace glanced around the room nervously, suddenly feeling very anxious.

"Y-yeah, yeah I do."

Blake smiled up at the boy who stood nervously glancing around the room.

"I love you too, you dingus."

Jace shot his eyes over to Blake quickly and she laughed at his reactions.

"You love me?"

"That's what I said."

He choked out a laugh and smashed his lips to hers, not wanting to leave her anymore.

A loud knock on the door broke them apart and the same doctor Jace talked to not too long ago peeked his head in.

"Time to get going."

Jace frowned at that but nodded.

"We are at your house all day tomorrow cuddling, got it?"

"Whatever you say Winters."

He smiled widely at that and kissed her again.

"Goodnight I love you."

"I love you too Johnny boy."

He walked out before she could see him blushing and the doctor smiled at the two teens.

Jace made it home with a stupid smile on his face the whole way there.

Blake also laid on the hospital bed happy, despite what had happened a few hours prior.

She grabbed her phone from the side table, texting Jace to make sure Sparrow was okay and fed.

She then went and posted on Instagram.
