Blake stayed home the next day from school to redo her hair. Her roots were coming in and she wanted to touch up the purple.

She went to the store around noon when she woke up and just went in sweats and a hoodie.

She bought the bleach she used last time along with the purple hair dye she used last time before going to the razor section. She hummed before grabbing one and purchased her items.

After bleaching her roots the way Brad Mondo does it, she rinsed it out after letting it set and added color to her roots.

It took about two hours but once she was done she liked it. She went to the bathroom and looked at her eyebrows before opening up the razor she had bought.

Blake wanted to add to her look a bit. She made a slit in her eyebrow and nodded in approval. She always wanted an eyebrow piercing too but she felt like she would end up hating it.

Grabbing her keys she went to a piercing shop and signed her name on the list. Instead of getting an eyebrow piercing she will get a belly button piercing.

After it was pierced she went back home and checked her laptop for the work she missed in school so far. She printed it out and began doing it herself as her music played loudly in the background.

Since her mom and London were at work she had the house to herself which she was happy about.

A loud knock was heard on the front door hours later. She stopped punching the punching bag in the corner and took off her boxing gloves leaving her hands wrapped.

She wiped the sweat off her forehead before walking to the front door in a sports bra and spandex.

"What a huge surprise! It's Jace probably asking me why I wasn't in school today. I did not feel like going" Blake said the second she opened the door.

Jace stood there staring at Blake who was barley clothed and gulped.

"Wanna hang out?" he asked in a strained voice.

She laughed at his reaction and he couldn't help but love the way her laugh sounded.

"Why not."

She opened the door wider for the teen who was very dazed by what she was wearing. She rolled her eyes at him and shut the door behind him.

"I'm going to go shower, you can help yourself to anything in the kitchen."

Blake showered and wore a cropped dark red hoodie and dark grey sweats. She left her wet hair down and walked downstairs to see Jace eating some fruit.

"You got a piercing" he said as he pointed towards her belly button.

"Thanks for letting me know captain obvious."

He gave her a look and she yawned loudly.

"What was on your hands before you took a shower?"

"Tape."

He pushed his eyebrows together and she scoffed.

"You put it on your knuckles before wearing boxing gloves. I was training."

He nodded and he noticed her roots were now purple again. He thought she was the most gorgeous girl in the world, besides his mom and sisters of course.

"You wanted to hangout, what are we gonna do?" Blake asked the teen boy as she gulped down her iced water.

"Watch a movie? Go somewhere I don't know."

She looked through her cupboards and grabbed her keys off the island.

"We are going grocery shopping since my mom hasn't."

He nodded and put his shoes back on. Blake walked upstairs to get her shoes and wallet before walking back down to her kitchen.

"Let's go."

The car ride was silent besides post malone softly playing on her radio. Blake hummed along to the song and turned into the parking lot.

"Coming in or staying here?"

"I'll go in."

She turned her car off and locked it once they both shut the doors. She wrapped her arms around herself and walked quickly into the building with Jace following after her.

Blake began getting the things she needed and was obvious to a few jocks and some cheerleaders in the alcohol section with Ethan's older brother.

Jace spotted them and gulped not wanting them to come over to them and start something. He saw Taylor there and he knew she would cause a scene.

"Hey uh Blake?"

She hummed in response as she looked for the salsa she likes.

"I have to go to the bathroom."

"I don't care, go."

He went to walk down the isle but saw them walking towards them.

"I'll go the other way."

Jace walked away quickly and Blake looked up with furrowed eyebrows just to see the jocks and cheerleaders from her school.

She couldn't help but let disappointment spread throughout her because her only friend that she enjoyed hanging around now was embarrassed to be seen with her.

So she wrapped up her grocery trip short and walked away before the group spotted her. She checked herself out fast and loaded up her car before sitting in the drivers seat waiting for Jace.

It wasn't until ten minutes later that the passenger door opened to reveal Jace.

"I didn't know you were in the car, sorry."

She didn't say anything and started up the car.

"Can I see your car keys?" she asked Jace.

He handed them over to her and she put them in her lap.

"Why do you need them?" he asked her.

She didn't respond and drove out of the store parking lot. What Jace didn't expect though was for them to end up outside his house.

"Why are we here?"

"I'll drop your car off later. Bye."

"Did I do something wrong?" he asked her.

"You know John, if you keep bugging someone to be your friend and they finally accept to be friends with you then do not run when you see your other friends. I will not be friends with someone who is ashamed to be seen in public with me."

"Wait what? I'm not ashamed to be seen with you I swear. I just-"

"If you keep talking I swear to god I will punch you. I don't care, I really don't. So please get out of my car."

He sighed but left anyways.

She sped away and later that day she dropped his car off and skated back to her house. She laid in bed on Instagram and decided to post yet another picture.
