A month. A month Jace has waited longer and this time it was just way harder. He just wanted to date her again already. He saw her practically everyday and he just moved into his first apartment on his own. He wanted Blake to move in with him.

They laid by the hotel pool, Blake had her eyes closed, the sunscreen shining off her already tan body as she began getting more of a tan.

"Bubba?" Jace asked softly.

She hummed, tapping her fingers to the music playing off her small speaker.

"Move in with me."

She squinted her eyes at him before sitting up, "what?"

"I already moved all my stuff into my new apartment, you should move in with me."

"I don't think that is a good idea" she murmured.

"Blake, we've been cuddling, almost kissing and spending practically everyday together. Just move in with me."

Blake was still skeptical, they both had feelings for each other. They knew that, but she just didn't want to be hurt again. But that was a risk Blake was willing to take, even if it meant she could possibly get hurt in the end. She just didn't want to think about it. If she went through another heartbreak she definitely would do something she would regret.

He saw her eyes wonder around rapidly as she played with her string anklet she had made herself.

"Okay" she mumbled.

"We can move in together?"

She nodded and he jumped up happily, planting a kiss on her lips.

He pulled away eyes wide, "I didn't mean to do that, oh my god I'm so sorry Blake."

She shook her head and slipped her clothes on quickly before darting to her hotel room.

Jace followed after her quickly and made it in the room just before the door closed.

"Blake I'm sorry I-"

Jace was cut off, Blake kissing him passionately and him doing it right back.

They both missed each other and the next hour they showed each other just how much.

Blake laid panting, her legs slightly shaking as Jace laid next to her panting as well. His body had a thing layer of sweat on it and Blake made herself calm down before going to the bathroom.

She came back with just a t shirt on and Jace opening up the slider door to let some air in. She climbed back in bed and buried herself in the blankets.

"Do you regret what we just did?" Jace asked softly as he climbed back into bed.

She shook her head slightly and he pulled her to him. "I'm just scared."

"I know baby, I promise I won't do anything like that again. You just have to trust me."

She played with her rings before letting out a soft sigh. "Okay."

"So you'll be my girlfriend again?"

She nodded her head slightly and he gave her a soft kiss.

"You're perfect" he said softly.

She only smiled and burried herself into his neck. She didn't want to think about the hurt that could possibly come out of her getting back together with Jace. That would just make her leave and never see him again.

"Honestly, I'm glad you said yes" he stated quietly.

"Why?" she asked in a whisper.

He leaned back and reached over to the small side table. He opened the only small drawer it had, grabbing a small ring box from it.

"Because I got you this."

She stared at the box, "if you're proposing right now I'm going to say no."

He let out a loud laugh, placing a kiss on her forehead with a goofy smile on his face.

"It's a promise ring, it's to promise that I'll never leave you or hurt you how I did before."

She bit her lip and he opened the box to show off the promise ring that wasn't too extra. She still loved it though.

"Why is there two?" she questioned him.

He took them both out, showing how they combine when put together. He put the thicker one on his ring finger and the smaller one on Blake's ring finger.

"One for me, one for you" he murmured against her lips. "On this finger until I replace it with an engagement and wedding ring."

She looked at him through her eye lashes before giving him another kiss.

"Words can't express how badly I missed you" he said in the smallest whisper.

"Me too."
