"Ok so I've asked everyone I know about the night of your accident, but no one knows anything or they just didn't care." Camren said pacing back and forth in front of us.

"These people at this school are so heartless." Ella said while standing on the edge of the school rooftop.

"Oh yeah that reminds me. We can't forget about what Steven said to you when you got here. That was pretty fishy?" Camren said holding her chin thinking.

"Why are you two making this your problem again?" I asked looking at them both. They both stopped what they were doing and looked at me.

"Because I love you and care about you." Camren spoke up which caused Ella to glare at her

"Ok, whatever just continue your babbling." They smiled and continued thinking.

"La la la lalala." I turned around and saw Ella dancing along the edge singing.

"You're going to fall to your death." I said watching her.

She grinned, "Does Ava care about me?"

"No, for all I care you can fall." Then on point Ella misplaced her footing and slipped, but I caught her and pulled her towards me making us fall to the ground hard. This is familiar too also ouch.

We both sat up looking at each other. "Are you ok." Ella asked me while she was rubbing her head.

"I guess, but why would you purposely trip?" I spat out.

"I didn't and besides I thought you said you didn't care if I fell." She smirked. I ignored her comment and looked away.

"Ava are you ok?" Camren asked worriedly. She bent down and slowly helped me to my feet and sat me down on the ledge. "Ella I bet this is your fault. What happened?"

Ella looked away and nervously smiled, "I was walking on the edge and kinda tripped, but Ava caught me and now we're fine." She said cheerfully.

Camren just glared at her and looked at me. "I'm glad you're ok." Then to my surprise she kissed me on the lips. She pulled away and smiled. Why do I keep allowing her to continue to kiss me again? Oh yeah, because she's my girlfriend.

I looked at her then back at Ella who was walking away. "I got to go." She hollered. What's up with her?

"We better go too." Camren said looking at the time on her phone. She got up and grabbed mine and her things and helped me up to my feet then began walking with me to our next class. "You know I still can't quit thinking about what Steven said to you?"

"Why?" I asked.

"I feel like he has something to do with what happened to you, but I can't be 100% positive unless I find more evidence."

We got to the door of our class room. As she began opening the door she smiled, "You know what, that's exactly what I'm gonna do."

********************

Riiiiiiiinnnnngggg

I closed my locker and headed outside to sit under the tree before anyone else does. I opened the school doors and walked down the steps to the tree. "Hey Ava!" I felt an arm around my shoulders.

"Where's Camren?" She asked looking behind me.

"She's home sick."

"Thats too bad." She smiled.

We continued walking to the tree and sat down and began talking, even if I didn't want to. Because I don't.

I got out my drawing things and set my food down, not really in the mood to eat. "Can I have your Apple?" Ella begged.

"Whatever." I said not caring and handed her my apple. She smiled and took the apple and began eating it. I watched her curious, "has this happened before?" Ella looked at me wide eyed.

She swallowed the food in her mouth and cleared her throat. "in a way it has. Maybe if you draw me, things will start coming back to you." I looked at her then my sketch book. Why not.

"Ok." Ella smiled and sat criss crossed, head resting on her hands, looking at me.

I began drawing loosing track of time. This does feel familiar, but I can't remember anything. I finished and sat there looking at the drawing I did. "You're not that bad looking." I said putting my book away, "but I still don't remember anything."

She frowned then smirked, "Maybe if you kiss me on the cheek, then your memories will for sure come back to you."

I looked at her cheek then in her eyes, "I don't feel like puking today."

I got up and grabbed my things and headed back inside for gym class. "You're such a meany head Ava, but it was worth a try." She said jogging by my side.

I've heard those words before, but I feel like I always said something back.... I got it.

I looked at her still walking, "And you're still a dumbass Ella."

She quickly looked at me gasping. "That's the first time you've said that. That's rude."

"I'm sure that's right because you are." I said feeling annoyed I didn't remember right.

"No you usually say, and you're still annoying Ella." She said trying to sound like me.

"Same difference." I said walking into the locker room.

"No it's not." She answered back.

Fixing to take off my clothes and change into my practice outfit, I remembered that I could do anything physical for a couple weeks, not a problem for me. I grabbed my things again and headed outside and walked to the coach.

"I can't practice."

"Why not?" She asked. I handed her the note and turned around to walk away. "Hold it! It says you can't practice, but you still have to do physical therapy." She said smiling.

She grabbed her whistle and blew it, "Teddy get over here!" She yelled. I watched as a tall skinny middle aged guy walked by the coaches side, "This is Teddy, he's going to be your physical therapist for a while." Teddy extended his arm for a handshake, but I just looked at it then him. He slowly pulled back and smiled.

"You girls get up! There's no sleeping during practice!" The coach yelled. "I have to go. Teddy make sure she does her training." She looked at me glaring then back at him, "Don't go easy on her too just because she's hurt." The coach looked at us one last time and walked away.

"Some coach huh?" He asked trying to break the silence left between us.

"So what are you planning on doing?" I asked getting to the point.

He smiled faintly then clapped his hands together, "Right, so I was thinking maybe working on your arm and leg muscles, since they're probably weak from laying in bed."

He led me to an open space on the field and told me to get on my hands and knees. "We'll start with push ups."

"This is stupid." I said.

"It is, but it'll build your muscles back up. Now do 20 without stopping and you can take a break."

I got in position and began.

"1.........2..........3................4.....................5."

I pushed myself back up and felt my arms wobbling, this is such a pain, my arms are giving out.

"Just 15 more you can do it." He said cheering me on. I went back down and began lifting myself back up, I could feel the pain in my stomach starting to irritate me, but I continued.

"13 more." He said. I went back down and slowly pushed myself up again, but my arms started wobbling again. I can't do this, I thought when my arms started giving out. I'm still too weak. This is stupid.

I continued pushing myself up, but gave in and dropped to the ground hurting my stomach. I winced in pain, but remembered something I couldn't clearly see.

One after another I felt something hard, like a fist hit my stomach, causing me to want to fall in pain, but couldn't since I was being forced to stay held up. I felt a hand lift my head up, the voice was talking to me, but I couldn't hear or see the figure.

"Ava... Ava are you ok." Teddy asked.

I slowly sat up and looked at him, "I'm done doing this." I harshly said.

He looked at me furrowing his brows and sighed, "Ok, we can call it a day even though you did 7 push ups." He said trying to be funny but it wasn't. What a loser.

I got up and walked over to the bench and got a drink of water. What was that memory? Was it from the incident? Whatever it was, I don't want to remember that again.

"Ava are you ok?" Ella asked while wrapping her arms around me, "I saw you collapse and you didn't get up for a good 3 minutes. I got so worried." She smells like sweat and perfume at the same time.

"I'm fine, you can let go." I said. She looked at me and on impulse she kissed me numerous times on the cheek. I don't know why, but it didn't bother me for some reason. It kinda made me happy. I'm actually happy for once. I've been told by my parents I was happy before the incident, but I don't remember much of that.

"Ok it's getting annoying now." I said pushing her off me.

She looked down pouting. "Fine."

"You're such a baby." I said bluntly.

She looked at me and smiled. "My kisses are magical." She cheered. What is she talking about?

"You're smiling for once and this time I caused it." This is weird. How is it I barely know this annoying girl, but yet she made me smile and feel happy? Not even Camren did that well.

I stopped smiling or I think I did and looked at her, "You're a pest." I said in a annoyed tone.

"Only to you." She smiled. I got up and walked to the locker room to change. "Wait for me, my wifey to be."

I turned and looked at her, "I'm with Camren. Not you. Camren." I snapped.

She tilted her head to the side and smiled, "I know and I respect that, but I can't keep bottling my feelings up any longer. So I don't care what you or Camren or anyone has to say about it. I'm going to keep calling you that and loving you until the day you reciprocate my feelings." She said passing me to the locker room.

What a strange girl.
