Suddenly Katy walks back into the living room and sits down beside me. "Hey, there's some people outside." She informs me with boredom as she shoves her hand in a chip bag.

Dad and I immediately look at each other. "How many people Katy?"

"Umm, I don't know... like a lot."

Dad and I immediately shot out of our seats, and panic rushed through my bones. My glare switched between Katy and my father multiple times as I thought of the possibilities... the possibility that those people outside, aren't here for directions to the nearest restaurant.

"Where's Alpha Parker?" Dad quickly ordered.

I stumbled over my words. "I don't k-know."
Where was my mate? What do we do? Should we go see what they want? Does Tyler already know what they're here for? Is it even them?

"I'll go check his office." I rushed out of the living room and turned towards the long hallway. I hurried in the direction of the big white doors, but Tyler came bursting through them. He ran up to me and gripped my shoulders. His eyes were becoming darker as I stared into them, suddenly Jackson followed after him out of the office.

"Anna stay in the house, do not go outside," Tyler begged as his hands still gripped me tightly. "Get Katy and go up to our room okay."

I swiftly nodded my head multiple times before going back to the living room with Tyler and Jackson.

"Anna, Katy get upstairs." I grabbed Katy's arm and dragged her up the steps and into the bedroom. I locked the door and rushed to the window to see if I could catch a glimpse of anything.

"Anna what's happening?!" Katy freaked.

"I don't know Tyler just told me to get upstairs and not to go outside." I didn't see much through the window, just the tree line that leads to the forest.

I turned back to Katy, who was now laying spread out on the bed. "What do you think it is?" I asked her.

She lifted up her head. "It could be anything." She answered simply.

I peered back out the window, but this time I saw groups of wolves charging from behind the trees. "Katy look!"

Before I knew it Katy was standing beside me and pulling back the velvety curtain. "This can't be good." She muttered.

"What do we do!"

"Stay up here and don't go outside."

"What! We have to help!" I protested.

"Believe me, they won't need our help," Katy said simply and let go of the curtain, covering the window.

"What, why?"

"Have you seen Tyler fight? He could take them all, there are only about sixty maybe seventy wolves." She sat back down on the bed and picked at her nails.

Tyler can kill seventy wolves. Dang.
Even though he could take them, part of me was still worried about him. What if something happens? I started to hear sounds of fighting, screams, yelling...
How was Tyler prepared for this? He didn't seem worried at all, just angry.

"Come on, it will be over soon," Katy called to me and patted the seat beside her on the bed.

"How did they get into our territory?!" Jackson yelled at everyone in the living room.

"I had extra protection set up on the borders..." Tyler muttered.

"Who were they?!" Katy panicked.

"Look we need to just calm down," I suggested and stood up to get everyone's attention. The attack was small, more like a warning. My dad said that he didn't see Richard or any important leaders of their group. I didn't see anything, I was locked up with Katy in the bedroom until Tyler came to get us. When he knocked on the door and said that it was him, relief came over me. I swung the door open and practically jumped into his strong arms. He didn't even have one scratch or one bruise.

"Anna is right, panic will not help." My dad agreed. Tyler, Jackson, and my father took care of the hole attack, they didn't have to call for help. I guess when they all work together they're like a dream team.

"Jackson informs the pack, they must be very confused," Tyler ordered. I could tell he was stressed, I wanted to help him relax, I wanted to get his mind off things.

"Why don't we all get some rest, and deal with everything in the morning, Alpha Evens your welcome to stay here for the night." My father nodded and accepted Tyler's offer, Jackson left and Katy headed upstairs.

"I'll take you to your room dad." I lead him upstairs and opened one of the guest bedroom doors. "I hope this will do, there are a new toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom. I can get you a change of clothes?" I offered kindly.

"Thank you, Anna, for everything."

I smiled and quickly grabbed a change of clothes for dad. He thanked me again and he headed to bed. I sighed and turned to our bedroom door and skipped in to see Tyler coming out of the bathroom. He had taken a shower, I could tell by his wet hair and the towel around his waist. His bare chest was exposed showing off his toned muscles. Water droplets beaded down his skin causing me to grow restless.

He strutted his way up towards me and brushed a stray hair behind my ear.

"I didn't forget what you said earlier."
