It was move-out day at Hogwarts, and you were not ready. Hogwarts was not a happy place at the time, but the Dursleys would surely be worse. You were in George's dorm as you had been cuddling since early that morning. Fred had left the room recently to get some breakfast, but you and George stayed put.

George was kissing you, his lips moving frantically since he knew your time with him was running out, and you wouldn't be able to see each other for a while. The two of you were trying to soak up your last moments together before summer reared its ugly head and forced you apart.

George's lips began to trail down your cheek and to your jaw, making you shiver. George ran his hands over your arms as he left warm kisses along your jawline. His touch made you sigh in delight at his love being poured out on you.

Just then, the door swung open and smacked the wall, and you jumped apart in shock and looked to the doorway with wide eyes. Harry stared at you in horror for a few seconds until he shook his head and approached you. He tossed a fairly large bag at George, who caught it, rapidly blinking as its contents clinked inside. George wondered, "What is this, Harry?"

Harry shrugged and admitted, "I don't really want to keep the prize money, and I know that you and Fred are always talking about your dream of opening that joke shop, so I thought I could help fund it with the money from the tournament."

George hopped up first before crushing the boy in a hug and repeating, "Oh, thank you, thank you!"

Once you processed the enormity of your brother's gift to the twins, you stumbled to your feet and squashed him in a hug as well. You pulled away after a moment, but George playfully shook the boy around. He grinned, "Ah, Fred is going to be ecstatic at this news. I don't know how we'll be able to repay you for this."

Harry chuckled, "You don't need to repay me. Just use the money wisely... and stop snogging my sister so much."

You smacked Harry's arm while George laughed, "Not a chance, Potter." George yanked you close and planted playful kisses all over your face. You giggled while Harry groaned and shuffled out of the room.

After the door closed behind him again, George wrapped his arms around you and spun you around. You grinned when you saw how happy George was. This was a dream come true for the boy, and you were so happy that your brother had given Fred and George a chance to do what they've always dreamed of.

Just as George set you back on the ground again, Fred walked in and gave you and George a curious look. George raced over to his twin and talked rapidly while shoving the bag full of galleons into Fred's hands. It took Fred a second to understand George's excited ramblings, but once he did, his smile consumed his entire face.

You stood off to the side and happily watched their interaction as their voices blended together in a symphony of excited planning.

Before long, it was time for you all to leave unfortunately. Fred had already grabbed his things and left the room, but George had been holding your hands and frowning at you. He begged, "Why can't you come stay with us? Why do you have to go stay with those monsters again?"

You tucked a long strand of hair behind his ear and admitted, "If I could, I would, but they are my legal guardians until Sirius can clear his name and take over as our godfather. When that happens, I will stay with him, and I'll be able to see you as much as we want in the summers, but until then, we'll just have to write one another letters every week."

George buried his face in your neck and whined, "But I can't kiss you in a letter."

He lifted his head and began to kiss you again, and you kissed him back for a too-short moment. When you drew away from him, you miserably sighed, "Georgie, really, I wish I could, but they truly wouldn't allow it... Come on, we don't want to miss the train."

You said goodbye to George before you boarded the train since you would sit with Harry, Ron, and Hermione on the way back. You tried to hold onto your joy from your moments with George for as long as you could, but you noticed the way Harry frowned deeply as the train rode farther away from Hogwarts. With the brightest smile you could muster, you put a hand on his knee and promised, "We have each other, Harry. It will be ok."

Harry barely looked at you as he stiffly nodded, not voicing the concerns that were ravaging his mind. In addition to all of their normal Dursley-related troubles, Harry was worried for their safety with Voldemort's return, and these thoughts made it hard for the bespectacled boy to appreciate your optimism. You tried not to feel hurt by his lack of acknowledgement, and instead, you tried to focus on enjoying your last moments with Ron and Hermione.

As your friends left you and Harry in your compartment upon your arrival, your stomach twisted into knots, not knowing what to expect once you returned to the Dursley's but not all that thrilled to find out.
