My mind revolves around things.

Things I can't believe that can dominate all of my imagination.

Things I fancy an escape from. The gyrations of things reiterates too many times and create anonymous feelings that rattles the cage of my urge to escape.

But beside this scepticism, beyond all these confusions—all these limits , there was something else that often dominates all these feelings and emotions.

Limerence fills my mind and why wouldn't it when you have this 19 year old boy , standing in front of you and bestowing on you the perfect smile with the spellbinding eyes that twinkle with merriment  in the the  hues of dawn , it's impossible to think about something else.

Often I want to kick him or throw him out of my mind but his dominance has lengthened the borders and with such a strong grip, things get difficult to throw out.

I stared at him, giving him my best deathly  stares but he decided to look at me with lissome smile thinking that I'll melt right away.

Yes, he would be right If rage wouldn't even boiling in my veins.

But now that it is,  his gambits drowned in the depth of my fury.

'What?' I finally broke the inviting silence and howled at him attaining a raise of eyebrows.

'What?' He repeated.

'Why on Earth did you do that?' I asked. My voice elevated than I wanted. 'Do you even know how close I was of getting the right information but you fucking destroyed it!'

'It was for the better.' He told me. 'She— she was not fine alright. She confessed just now. Maybe she wanted to trap you in something.'

'If she wanted to then did she confessed?' I queried. 'Huh? She already gave up Leo. And I know there's something about the prophecy you're hiding and I fucking need to know! Tell me!'

'Jewel there's nothing Ok. You really think a thing like prophecy would exist?' He tried to explain but his eyes didn't copy his words. An uncertainty ravelled in his voice and I knew once that he was not speaking the truth.

'Yes. If a thing like Infinite Gemstone could exist then there's nothing wrong with a prophecy. Tell me what's with it?' I insisted and tried to plead with my eyes but he snapped his eyes away.

'I can't. And you should not know too.' He said in a low voice. I moved forth and grabbed a handful of his leather jacket and pulled him in .

I begged in a whisper 'Leo tell me.'

'You should not know.' He said in a monotone. I stomped my foot on the ground out of tantrum and frustration.

'Why do you all have to keep secrets from me?!' I yelled throwing my hands in air. 'Don't you guys trust me?'

He said ,'We are protecting you.' He finally glanced at me and a mixture of concern and care floated  in. 'Why don't you just get it?!'

'I'm not a baby!' I yelled. 'I'm a fucking agent and can hold secrets alright? I can bear shits and will do this one too!'

'Well not this one.' He said composedly and I clenched my jaw. My hands balled into fists. Frustratingly I slapped my hands on his chest and pushed him away.

He stumbled but balanced briskly. 'I HATE YOU!' I shouted at him in an outburst of anger.

He raised one of his brow as if not expecting this. 'Well thank you.' He said and out of frustration, I turned around and without waiting for any other revelation of my stupidness from his mouth, I began walking away from him. But he still considered to give me the answer he should,  as he shouted from behind . 'I HATE YOU TOO!'

I didn't give him any reply but rather taking long strikes, began increasing the distance from me and him. Clouds thundered above me and people around ran to take cover and umbrellas opened  but I didn't even pay a bit of attention to it.

My rage overcame my anger just as it always does and for some reason , Leo's words kept gyrated in my mind.

Just control your nerves...

But I shook my head cause I didn't want to think about him anymore. I was tired of thinking about him , day and night and night and day. Every single minute , every single second , I always have him in my mind. He was driving me crazy and that craziness was transforming in rage.

A cold breeze hit me in the face and the clouds thundered vigorously. A grey hue drifted across the sky with the threat of rain. Thunder clapped and and a flash of forked lightening hovered over the building earning sudden screams from around.

I hugged myself as another bolt of lightening flashed upon the sky. I rubbed my hands because the cold breezes continued to send shivers down my body. Pulling up my hood, I zipped my hoodie to earn some warmth but in vain. My strides became longer and I began to search for a cover.

A car horned behind me. From the corner of my eyes, I saw tyres steadying to copy my steps. I heard a window sliding down and a familiar voice shouted from within . 'Jewel. Get the hell in.'

I continued my walk and didn't even look at him.

No Elsa. Control your feelings.

'Oi! Jewel! Hop in!' Leo shouted again.

' I won't!'I yelled back and looked at him through the rolled down window. He had his goggles on and rested one of his arm onto the shoulder of passenger seat.

'Why not? It's gonna rain heavily.'Leo explained and sped up a bit as I picked up my speed but began to pant too.

'Cause you won't tell me what I should know!' I shouted back hugging myself more tightly with hoodie.

'For goodness sake Els!' He exclaimed. 'Why don't you just get it? I can't—

'—then I'm not getting in.' I cut him off and said stubbornly. Petter - pattering started. Heavy drops hit my head despite my hood.

'Fuck Els. It's drizzling!'

'I know!'

'Then get the hell in! You'll catch a cold.' Leo told me.

'I don't care.' I spat.

'But I do ,alright? Get your ass in or I won't bother picking you up and throwing you in.' His words sent sparks of warmth in me. He threatened and frustration lingered in his voice. And somewhere within, I was happy to make him frustrated just like he made me a while ago.

Drizzling grew dangerously into a curtain of rain from ominous clouds. My teeth chattered and my legs began to weaken.

'ELS! GET IN!' Leo bellowed and just as another cold breeze howled on my face , I yelled back. 'Fine!' Leo instantly opened the door and I sat in as briskly as I could. Leo stopped the car and rolled the window up.

My teeth continued to chatter and my legs shook. I rubbed my hands against each other desperate for the warmth. Leo turned on the heater and took his jacket off. He draped it around my shoulder. The cologne from his jacket greeted me with mellowness and despite the fact that I'll look stupid, I inhaled in.

He chuckled and shook his head. 'I love your perfume.' I commented and he smiled while taking out some tissues. He cupped my cheek and moved my face slightly to face him. I looked in his eyes and for a minute , I was prepared to lose myself in them until he looked down and his thick eyelashes hooded them.

He then dabbed the tissue over my face gently and when he reached my neck, he said ,'Don't do this again.Look how cold you are.' He held my hand and rubbed the back of it while he threw the tissues on  the dash.

I took my hoodie off ,threw it on the back seat and pulled on his jacket. I zipped it up , slipped my hands through the sleeves and then in it's pockets and once again breathed in my favourite scent. 'If you would've told me before then it wouldn't've happened.' I murmured.

'Only If you would've trusted me.' He whispered to himself  but I caught his words.

'I still do.' I said and he surprisingly looked at me as he adjusted the grilles of the heater. A decent as well as genuine smile embellished his features. The green in his eyes lighten and shone  with merriness. I never knew it could make him this happy and part of me was dancing for making him smile.

He shook his head again. Chuckling, he leaned his head against the head rest. He ran a hand through his hair and continued to look out of the window. A small smile played on his lips.

I snuggled in his jacket as my body temperature began to grow normal. I looked out of the window too considering how much drama that just happened.

The drops fell violently against the windows and fog blurred the view. 'So when did you rent the car?' I made an attempt to break the fierce silence that inundated the car.

'It's mine.' He answered.

'What?' I diverted my attention from window to him. 'You have two cars?'

'Yeah. I was an agent here before so they gave me one.' Leo replied.

'You worked here too?'

'I did. But I was moved to L.A after my...' he trailed off and bit his bottom lip as he said something he shouldn't have said. 'Before you.' He forced a smile but I caught the muscle that twitched in his jaw.

'Listen I'm sorry for what happened—' I began to apologise but he cut me off.

'Nah. It's alright.' He ran his hand thought his hair. 'I should be the one to apologise. I shouldn't've yelled. I was so freaking out of my mind. I saw you with the photograph and ...'

I placed my hand on his arm. 'It's OK.' I gave him an assuring smile and he delinquently returned. 'I shouldn't've invaded into your privacy.' I murmured.

'It was not that private. I want to tell you but it's not easy you know.'

'I understand.' I said simply.

He hit his head against the head rest gain  and closed his eyes as if thinking hard. He exhaled a long breath before questioning, 'Where'd you wanna go?'

I thought for a moment and then realised where would I go in this heavy  and intermittent rain. 'Er... I don't know...'. I glanced at my phone.. 'Can you take me to McDonald's?' My tone suddenly turned into a childish and I cringed.

'McDonald's?' He leaned off the headrest and jerked his head to a side. 'Are you sure...?'

'Yeah but no problem if you can't take me.' Part of me admitted that Leo won't be taking me.

'Oh no Jewel. If you're giving me a treat then I'm on it.' He said with a fruity voice and my lips curved into a smile knowing that the awkwardness had finally lifted off. The tension dissolved and sun came out.

'Why would I give you a treat?' I asked as Leo turned on the ignition and put his seat belt on. I copied his actions.

Leo replied. 'First, you asked for it and second because I said so.'

'First I gave you an advice and second I don't give a damn about what you say or you do.' I snapped. 'I don't care.'

'Oh baby you do care.'

'No I don't.'

'Uh huh,Then what about the message?' he mimicked my voice. '"I'm sorry"'. I hid my face behind the jacket as embarrassment took over me.

'And what about The jerkiness you just showed without replying me?' I asked him.

'Let's just say that I was testing you that long can you live without me?'Leo said.

'Only If I could live for million years.' I threw back and he smirked.

'Jewel you texted me just seven minutes later . Who on earth text so early?'

' It was a mistake.' I said dryly.

'Such mistakes don't occur on methodological circumstances.' He sated.

'Those were chaotic circumstances.' I corrected.

'Jewel you stood there for at least five minutes.' Leo said and my eyes widened. 'So technically those were methodological.' He shrugged as if he has won the argument.

'How the hell do you know I stood there?'I asked , jerking my body to his side to get a better view. He shrugged again and said casually,

'I guess I can feel your presence.' My heart ponded in my chest with a threat to come out sending all the blood up to my cheeks.

How the hell can he say such things so easily.

I gulped down and decided to not press this matter more. I turned my attention towards the window which was covered in mist and the view of outside was blurred. So I began fidgeting with the sleeves of his jacket. 'Jerk.' I murmured.

'I can hear ya.' He said with an amusement in his voice. 'Did I mention how adorable you look when you turned into a tomato?'

I nibbled  on my bottom lip. 'Yes. You did.' I told him and he nodded.

The rest of the journey passed in little arguments with pauses of comfortable silences. The rain had steadied and but the dark clouds remained where they were. It was already fifteen minutes to eight so I thought we'll be there on time.

The only problem was Jake. I know Leo and Jake had never been on good terms and I didn't want to destroy Leo's mood by telling him that we were going to McDonald's to meet Jake. But the time came where I had to do what I was afraid of. 'Why McDonald's though? I thought you didn't like it.' Leo asked casually.

'No it's cool.' I said and he pulled on in front of McDonald's. I unbuckled my seat belt and just as I was about to open the door, my eyes instantly landed on a figure that just entered in.

'Jake?' Leo said more than asked and glanced at me.

'Yeah. I know.' I replied giving him an assuring look but he didn't get it. 'Listen we—Er—actually here to meet Jake.' I explained awkwardly and he raise his brow suspiciously.

'Why didn't you tell me before?' He said in unruly voice.

'I thought you won't come then. Look I'm sorry but I have to go.' He rolled his eyes and ran hand through his hair.

'Go on then.' He said. 'I'm not coming.'

I threw him a confused look. I know why he refused to come but still I pretended.

He explained, ' He did not invite me did he? So go. I'll be waiting for you.' He gestured me to go and giving him an assured look, I opened the door and walked in.

My eyes lingered from person to person as I searched for Jake. A hand shot up in the air and waved from the booth against the window.

I walked up to it and smiled. Jake smiled back and gestured me to sit. We greeted each other until Jake suggested us to order first. When the order arrived, I shoved a fried potato chip into my mouth.

'Nice jacket.' Jake commented and I almost lost my breath when I remembered that I didn't even took off Leo's jacket.

'Thanks.' I murmured when my phone vibrated. I took it out of my pocket and glanced at the screen to find Leo's message:

Leo: I forgive you ;)

Me: I texted it years ago idiot.

I replied and shut my phone. 'So Jake is there something you want to talk about?' I asked Jake.

'Er ... Yeah...' he scratched his neck. 'Let's just eat and we'll talk later. What do you say?'

'No worries. I'm cool.' I remarked and ate my burger. During the dinner we didn't talk mush and an atmosphere of formality created. When our dinner was completed Jake asked me to go outside for a walk.

The streets were lonely and petrichor lifted the mood more. The rain had stopped and cool , light breezes began to blow. It was a nice night to be walked at. The moon peeked through the clouds and we walked for a while under its brightness.

Jake halted after a few minutes and turned around to face me. He breathed in and glanced around to make sure no one was there. 'I'm going Elsa.' Jake stated.

'Going where?' I asked him and shoved my hands into my pockets. His eyes studied the ground for a while before rising up to meet mine. It seemed as if he was struggling with what he was about to say.

'Leaving this agency. And I want you to come with me.' I netted my brows in confusion as I took in the words and the offer he just gave. He threw his look on the ground again and shifted his weight from one foot to the other.

'What are you talking about?' I asked him after I registered what he meant.

' I can't live like this anymore.' He stated. His tome changed from a pleading to a demanding one. 'I'm done. I can't just go around and catch people anymore. I want something else. Something more. I leaving!'

'You can't just leave.'

'Yes. Yes I can!' He said. 'I'm leaving this piece of shit!'

'But Jake you were the one who told me that what we're doing is good.' I tried to reason with him but he shook his head dismissively.

'The situation was different then. Now it's just shit.'

'What different?'

'No-nothing.' He hesitated. 'I just can't live here anymore. Will you come with me?' He asked the same question again.

'No. Are you dumb? I can't leave. And you should not too.' My voice came fiercer than I wanted.

'Why?'He yelled and I took a step back. I had never seen him yelling. He was always composed and calm and somehow seeing him losing his mind scared me.

'Jake listen...' I threw my hands in surrender but he caught them and pulled me in.

'Come with me princess, I assure you you'll be happy than this.' I struggled an escape from his grip but he tightened it. 'I promise you. Just come with me.'

I tried to snap my hands away but he pushed my back against the wall. 'Fuck off.' I sweared. He tightened his jaw and slapped my hands against the wall.

'I will keep you happy Els. Come with me.' He insisted.

'What the fuck Jake. Let me go.' I raised my knee to kick him in that area but he blocked it with his leg. 'You should not do that.' He warned and lowered his face to level him lips with mine. He closed his eyes but before he could continue his activity, before I could do anything, Jake fell on the floor with the punch that he received from Leo.

'You Ok?' Leo asked me and I nodded. My mind functioned the recent moment that was just about to happen. Jake was going to kiss me? I cringed at the thought and looked down at Jake who wiped the blood from his mouth with the back of his hand.

The rain peter-patterned and again the clouds roared. But before I could ask Leo to go, he was already charging towards Jake. His hands were balled in fists and a vein in his neck popped out. 'Leo no wait!' I yelled but he picked Jake from the collar and gave him another punch on the face.

Jake stumbled but gave Leo a temple kick. Leo crouched and Jake took charge o fetch moment. He punched Leo in the stomach and Leo fell. 'Fuck.' I murmured and rushed towards the boys. Leo gave me a warning look before sliding his leg beneath Jake's to stumble him. Leo saw the hole and kicked Jake in the stomach.

And after that, Leo had his position set and didn't spare Jake a single chance. 'You know you can't afford this.' Leo whispered to  Jake who receded to dodge  another of Leo's punch.

Leo kicked Jake in the stomach  again but Jake fended off  . Leo gave him another one , too quick for Jake to block , right in the stomach  and Jake spat blood from his mouth. 'Leo stop it!' I yelled and tried to indulged in to stop the fight but Jake pushed me away. Leo did not stop. He closed  Jake on the face so hard that Jake's face walloped against the wall and he fell.

I ran towards Leo who sat on Jake to give him more punches on face. Leo's eyes were darkened and a fierce look adorned his look.  'Leo Stop!' I yelled but he didn't even budge and rather continued giving Jake hard punches.

Jake was half conscious and soon if Leo won't stop he'll kill him. I grabbed Leo's arm and with all my mighty, pulled him off Jake. He crashed against the floor and looked at me in disbelief. 'Enough!' I shouted at him. 'Are you an idiot? You'll kill him!'

'I'm fine.' Came a weak voice as Jake wiped the blood off his mouth again and gave Leo a death glare. 'I'm fucking fine.' I kneeled down beside Jake to
