"Not Now" Shreya said, biting her lips, disappointment filled through her and added, "I wish he came late!"

Avantika threw her phone on the bed in frustration and gritted out, "Why Advik? I wish I slept with Someone who have little ass attitude"

Shreya ignored her anger and poured out her words, "I asked Avyan to pick me up once he is done with his meeting, He came before I could see your unfold life drama!"

Avantika eyebrows narrowed and scoffed at her friend before saying, "Drama, You and your husband enjoy the drama while eating popcorn and--God, I should go downstairs"

Shreya nodded her head and said, "I will bring Avyan too--I hope he accepts without making a fuss!"

"I hope you guys enjoy the show!" Avantika said through clenched teeth.

Pregnancy Mood swings

Avantika descended down the stairs nervously as the echo of slap wouldn't stop ringing in her ears. Shreya followed her curtly and gazed at Avantika parents who were busy glaring at Avantika. Her gaze then shifted to Advik who had a bored expression on his face.

"My husband is waiting outside" Shreya's soft voice rang, making Advik snap his head to hers.

Avantika mom tore her gaze from her daughter, and smile crawled at her face hearing Shreya voice and offered, "Invite him in"

Advik clenched his jaw, hearing Avyan's name and that was not unnoticed by Shreya. She knew things wouldn't go pretty well if they breathe in the same atmosphere.

"No. Actually, He said —"Shreya voice cut off when Avantika father interrupted,

"At least Tea"

"Shreya" Avantika gritted out her friend name and said," Please, Bring him in"

Shreya sighed and took a long stride to the door before twisting the knob and pushed the door open, closing it behind her. Her heart fluttered looking at his tired yet beautiful visage. He was leaning against the car, waiting for his wife to come.

He quickly removed his shade as he saw Shreya coming towards him with a smile and he returned it back. He approached her as she neared him and asked, "You are early"

He pulled her for a hug and still the damn never ending crackers wouldn't stop bursting even after they literally couldn't keep their hands off when they were together.

"I don't want Avantika to snatch You!" Avyan said with a grin, his dimple snatching the attention of hers.

Shreya shifted her feet before walking closer to him, fiddling with his shirt button she murmured, "They asked you to come inside"

Avyan frowned and said softly, "Well, I wouldn't mind coming in, princess. You shouldn't be nervous to ask those silly things"

Shreya breathed out and said, "Well—Advik came to talk to her family"

Avyan smirked and said, "Well, I Should definitely come inside!"

Shreya shook her head in disbelief before voicing out her thoughts, "You actually wouldn't accept this easily. You—"

"You talk a lot" Avyan commented and pecked her lips before saying, "Lets go inside"

"But–"

Sighing, They both walked together inside while tightly clutching their hands. They could hear the talking sound inside and when the door opened, they heard,

"How can I trust you?" Avantika's father questioned.

"Trusting is your problem and I'm not here to create an impression" Advik snapped. His own parents wouldn't trust him then how can he expect someone else to trust him?

Avantika's parents gasped while Avantika didn't interrupt. In Fact she would be glad if she just received equal responsibility from him instead of this forced marriage.

"That's now how we talk to elders, Mr. Rathore" Avyan said sternly.

Advik chuckled before saying, "Then I should talk the way you talk to your step mother?"

Avyan scratched his eye brows and with a wicked smile, he said, "You should talk before thinking twice. I always presume one should talk with politeness if things has to happen according to their will"

Advik frowned before understanding and sighed before turning to her parents, "I apologize, I guess I'm not good at talking like Avyan and Now I'm trying hard to repair my old lifestyle. I knew, You wouldn't be able to trust me not after seeing me in headlines as rapists"

Avantika felt a tug in her heart strangely before defending him, "Mom, He didn't rape me. In fact he pushed me twice. My drunken state was the reason behind this mess. I don't think a real rapists wouldn't mind taking advantage in that situation"

Advik clenched his jaw and for the first time in his life, Someone trusts him. He looked at her parents and said, "It's up to you"

Saying that He looked at Avantika and said, "Thanks for supporting me and I have things to clear up, if you have time , come and meet me tomorrow in the same ice cream parlor,"

All the while Avyan and Shreya didn't speak anything. In fact Avyan knew about Advik. They both might claw each other's throat but they knew about each other. Once they were used to being friends and their drunken state would spill out everything. As they grew up, Advik's father started trusting Avyan more and ignored him in everything. There started the insecurities and jealousy, vandalizing their friendship from root.

Advik dusted his jean before standing up and walked out before saying, "Avyan, I want to have a word with you, Alone"

Avyan cold gaze penetrate into Advik and he kissed Shreya forehead before saying, "I will come back"

Shreya nodded her head in understanding.

Once Avyan and Advik, came out there were uncomfortable silence until Advik broke it, " Well, I didn't like to talk with you but still, I have to"

Avyan rolled his eyes before saying, "What?"

"You said no secrets between us" Shreya elbowed Avyan who tried to pull her to his lap.

Avyan nuzzled his face into her neck and said, " Do you remember one day you asked me whether I believe in vampires?"

Shreya nodded her head and said, "Are you trying to distract me, Mr. Malhotra? Seems like you got miserable failure"

Avyan ignored her and continued his topic," That day I wasn't ready to tell that horrible incident. It was one of my secrets which I trying to tell you for days but promise me you wouldn't leave me after knowing this"

No longer the previous topic was remembered in Shreya's mind, She blinked at him before saying, "You are a vampire?"

Avyan stifled his laugh and said, "What? No. I trusts in vampire and I have seen it"

Shreya gasped and said, " You are lying--,"

Avyan shrugged his shoulder and said, " Alright, I thought to share you but seems like you don't want to know"

Shreya chastised, " No, No, Tell me!"

Avyan nodded his head and said, " Before I was doing my internship in one company--

" You were useless, how can you work in company?" Shreya frowned.

Avyan glared at her and continued, " I was doing internship in company. One day I forgotten important file which I have to carry for next day meeting in another state. Due to pressure, I went to take that file in night and when I was returning in car, one man out of nowhere fell front of my car. I was scared too the core when I witness blood Oozing out from his mouth"  He supressed the smile as Shreya gulped in fear before pushing herself more into him.

"May be I should tell more story like this" Avyan thought.

" And?"

" And I unlocked the car door before striding to him with fear. He said he need help and he was hungry. I felt pity for him and was about to take money for him but he bit my neck and I was parnoid for some minutes when I saw his canine. Look at the mark here on my neck, there you can see!" Avyan said pointing his neck.

Shreya heart wrenches painfully in fear as she looked at the mark and asked, " Did he look like Vampire damon?"

Avyan glared at her before saying, "I'm so blessed to have such a caring wife!"

She ignored his remarks and said, " You should have changed into vampire as well, right?"

Avyan nodded his head and said, " Can I have your blood?"

" Wha--?"" Shreya gasped before wiggling out of his lap, sweat bends formed on her forehead when he pushed her flatly on the long couch and nuzzled himself in her neck.

" Avyan, stop. I'm scared!" Shreya murmured.

Avyan supressed his laugh and tickled her stomach making her to heave a relief in realisation.

" I'm more than vampire, I want to ravish you whole not only your blood" Avyan said huskily and Shreya blushed hard.

" But I prefer Vampire" Shreya said playfully and added, " Like Damon!"

Avyan growled at her and Shreya bit her lips before her fingers trailed his chest and she said, " He was damn really a good kisser"

Just as she completed the sentence to take a breath, her breath was stolen by her jealous husband, wandering around her mouth, tasting every corner like a starving man.

She smiled in their kiss before closing her eyes in pure bliss.
