ANGELOS POV.

I couldn't just have one night without getting pissed off at something.

I'm going to have a heart attack before forty.

The closer I got to the pool house, the louder the yelling became.

"This isn't fair!" I heard Violet yell.

I noticed a broken window.

Not bothering to knock, I opened the door.

Violet and Nicholas were in the middle of an argument.

That wouldn't usually keep me questioning anything.

However, Nicholas was holding a teenage boy by his jacket.

One, two- there were three of them right?

"Where's the other one of you?" I asked, interrupting their fight after counting who was there. "And who is that?"

"He's my boyfriend." Violet answered quickly.

I literally said no one is allowed here.

"Adaline said-,"

Not her again.

"Adaline!" I yelled, rolling my eyes as I walked around the small house, opening various doors before reaching the bedroom area.

"Hey! She's in the shower! Leave her alone!"

Narrows it down.

I slammed open the bathroom door.

"What the hell?"

"Why the hell did you let her bring someone here?"

"Angelo?"

"I specifically said you cannot bring anyone here!"

"Look pal, that's my fiancée in there." Nick made his presence known.

Who the fuck is pal?

"I know you don't do the whole boundaries thing, but you don't need to see her in the shower."

I stared at him like I was the stupid one.

"How the fuck do you think my daughter was made?"

"Can we not do this right now?" Adaline asked.

He's got one, he should understand how that works, right?

"Living room. Five minutes." I ordered.

Turning around, I made my way back to the other two dumb asses.

"This is what's going to happen," I grabbed the boy by his ear.

"Let go of me!" He struggled.

"I can either kill you, or you can forget everything that has happened. Do you know what the address of this house is?" I was trying to get this done with quickly.

     "Yeah it's-,"

Wrong answer.

"This might kill you. I'm not sure." I turned him around to face me.

   And then I punched him.

Really hard.

There was a crack and then a sound of a body falling.

"Oh my god!" Violet ran to him.

"Get him to a hospital. Just leave him outside." I nodded to one of the men who had been in the first group here.

    "What is wrong with you?!"

I turned back around to see Adaline, now in a simple shirt and sweat pants.

"We don't have time for that. From now on, no one is allowed here. Violet, I expect you to listen this time. Adaline, Nick, if I find out you have anything else to do with this, your restaurant is going to cease to exist. Am I clear?"

    "What are you talking-,"

"Good." I walked out of the pool house without another word.

I let out a deep sigh as I knocked on Mercurys door.

I practically kicked my mother out after she insisted on trying to talk to The Conners.

Though I looked like my father, I definitely had her attitude.

    God help us.

"Is someone dead?" She asked as soon as she opened the door.

    Should I lie or not?

"I actually don't know." I answered truthfully, hoping murder isn't the only example I'm setting. "Your crazy ass family just left."

"They were yours first."

"Don't remind me." I sprawled out on her bed.

   Jesus I'm tired.

"Nope. I know that look. You are not sleeping in my bed." She groaned before trying to push me off of it.

   Of course, she failed.

"How much do you weigh?" She panted.

"It's pure muscle baby." I grumbled as my eyes began to close.

"How many times have you used that as a pickup line?"

"Never because I'm not from New Jersey."

Does she have any faith in me?

"Ugh. Angelo you smell like a dude. Now my beds going to smell like testosterone." She complained.

"Girls actually like that smell you know."

Believe it or not, this occurs probably once a week.

"Gross. I'm not a girl, I'm Mercury."

"Yeah yeah. I'm up." I hesitantly decided to get out of her bed.

"I'm going to take a shower. Come say good night before you go to bed so I know you weren't stolen."

"Great. My pillow smells like an Angelo."

"You're welcome."

THIRD PERSONS POV.

"So Violets boyfriend broke the window trying to sneak in?" Mercury asked as she situated herself on Angelos bed.

   "Man this thing is comfortable."

"I thought you were going to bed."

"I was but this became an interesting story."

She was about to ask another question, but something caught her off guard.

    "What are you doing?"

Angelo have her an odd look as he stood in the bathroom.

"Taking out my contacts. What do you think I'm doing?"

   "You wear contacts?"

Mercury had just assumed that Angelo really didn't have any normality about him.

It was safe to say she was pretty shocked.

"I've worn them since high school Mer. Why do you look like you just accidentally killed someone?"

"Woah woah woah. You mean to tell me you don't have perfect vision? Ok, scale of one to ten, how blind are you?"

Angelo didn't really need to think about his answer.

"Seven and a half." He answered.

"What?" Mercury was having too much fun realizing that her father wasn't perfect. "I don't believe you."

"Jesus kid." He sighed before walking over to his dresser.

Opening a drawer, he pulled out a black case.

"Believe it or not," he opened it, "Your father hasn't been able to see clearly since he was eleven." He put on a pair of black framed glasses.

"Wow." Mercury smiled. "You look a lot less scary with those on. Why don't you ever wear them?"

"I never liked them." He shrugged before taking them off.

"Were you worried girls wouldn't find you attractive anymore?"

"That's definitely not the reason. Look at me. If anything the glasses would help. I just never wanted them to get in the way if I wanted to fight someone."

   "Oh boy."

"You weren't a bully were you?"

"No, and you are not going to find out what I was like in high school because you, are going to bed."

   "But-,"

"Not until you're thirty. Let's go." He began to usher her out of his room.

"I was technically there for some of your high school experience, that should count for something." She protested.

"You weren't there for long, so-," he heard a floor board creek nearby, causing him to stop right where he stood.

Mercury didn't hear anything out of the ordinary, so she was taken aback when he gently pulled her arm back.

Soon enough, the one who had been the cause of the noise was revealed as she frantically turned the corner.

She wasn't supposed to be inside.

"Get out." Angelo subconsciously pushed Mercury slightly behind him.

   "Please-,"

"Get. Out." He seethed again.

"Please. We need your help. Violets missing."
