"Don't worry about mine, they learned a long time ago to let me live the way I choose.  They've never pressured me into doing things their way.  Eli, on the other hand, is protective, but he'll come around." I said.

My eyes are growing heavier and I yawned.  "Get some sleep, your flight takes off early." He kissed the top of my head, and I fell asleep in his arms.

I woke to the sound of a heartbeat and realized I didn't move an inch all night.  As I listened, I wondered if my baby's heartbeat could be heard.  I think my heart must be beating in sync with Blaine's and a smile rose up on my face. There are three heartbeats in this bed.

I know I need to do something about Gray.  Just because I have a deep hatred for him right now, doesn't mean I can keep him from being in this baby's life.  He is nowhere close to the man I thought he was. Sure, he had some big flaws, but I thought he was a good man in other ways.  Any respect or thread of friendship I still had for him, is now gone.

I'm marrying Blaine, we will have this baby together, and I will not base my decisions on what's easiest for Gray.  I took the job in Cincinnati to be close to my family again, but now Gray is following me.

It's still dark outside as I listened to Blaine's heartbeat and thought long and hard about our future.  I've made a decision that may upset everyone, especially Gray, but its what is best for the three of us.

When Blaine and I marry, I'm moving to New York.  Some might think I'm running away from Gray, and that's true, but at the same time, I'm actually running to the man I love.  I've found my person, my other half, and the father to my children.  We will be married, and I will give this baby the Lowell name.

Gray will get visits, of course, but he won't be in my life on a daily basis.  He can fight me in court, that's fine.

I've denied what happened that night all along.  Gray did it on purpose, he took a chance that it would be the right time to get me pregnant. When I tried to pull away so he wouldn't come inside me, he held me in place. He knew I was pregnant the moment I called him, and he was counting on this baby to bring us back together.

It's still his baby, and its not my right to deny him a relationship with his child, but that doesn't mean we have to live in the same city.  I need to contact an attorney and find out about giving Blaine's name to this baby and explore my parental rights.

I sighed to myself and popped back to reality.  What he did was horrible, but can I really live with myself if I only let him be a father for the least amount of time possible?

I felt movement and looked up at Blaine.  His eyes are closed, but a smile formed on his face.

"What are you smiling about?"

"That wasn't a dream, it really happened." He said, and I laughed.

"You thought you had a wet dream?" I could barely control my laughter.

"Well, your are the stuff dreams are made of, Cora." He opened his eyes and looked down at me.  "Good morning." He said.

"Good morning to you, too," I said.

"What time is it?" He asked.

"It's a little after six," I answered.

"You're up early." He said in a groggy voice.

"I had a lot of thinking to do," I said.

"Oh yeah, what were you thinking?" He asked.

"I was thinking how great raising this baby with you will be, and what it will be like to be your wife," I answered.

"What was it like when you imagined it?" He asked.

"Well, we would live in New York for one," I said with a smile on my face, and he looked surprised.

"I thought you would have hoped for Liberty." He said.

"No, I know you need to be in New York.  You're my family now, Blaine. I did think about living in Liberty, but the thought suffocates me because Gray will always be at our doorstep.  I want a fresh start with you and our baby." I said.

"Our baby?" He smiled even bigger.

"Of course, we are in this together, and you will be a father to this baby.  We may have to share it with Gray, but that doesn't mean you'll be any less important.  It's you I want holding my hand when this baby comes, and when it takes its first steps, it'll be walking toward you."

He looked down at me, and I could see the love in his eyes.

"I want to give you more children and dedicate my life to our family," I said.

"What about your career?" He asked.

I scrunched my nose.  "It really wasn't that great," I said, and he chuckled.

"You didn't enjoy ruining a man's golf game?" He asked.

I laughed.  "I told you before, I don't create the weather."

"Are you sure this is what you want?" He asked.

"Yes, as long as you aren't working sixty hours a week with your ex-wife," I said.

He groaned. "That's another thing I have to deal with, dammit." He said

"Deal with?" I asked.

"I'm still the majority stockholder, I'm her boss, and that will not work after what she has done." He said.

"What will you do?" I asked.

"Who knows. I need to consult my father and the rest of the board." He said.

"How long will you stay in Seattle?" I asked.

"Until tomorrow, then I'll head to New York to tell my parents everything.  During that time, Savannah will take Will to Scipio, and Corey will settle their affairs here.  I should be back to you in a few days." He said.

"Your mother may need you longer than that, Blaine." I said.

"My mother and father will probably go to Scipio to face her family and meet Will." He said.

"My furniture should be delivered on Friday, so you can all stay at my house." I said.

He flipped me around and started kissing down my neck.  "My parents will stay in a hotel so I can be free to devour this body of yours as much as I want."
