Dyan Powers licked his hand and smoothed his slicked back hair.

"What are you doing?" A woman with a neck long trimmed Bob of black hair and green edges armed with a holographic device, stood beside his Ryder.

"Couldn't be better." Dyan struck an overly bright smile, not answering her question. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance!"

"You said that last time we were here." Her monotone voice matched how excited she was about this.

"You see, it's that dull attitude why your behind camera, Gram." The girl shot him a dead-eyed look, her face devoid of any expression.

"It's that happy, chippy attitude why everyone at HQ hates you, Dyan." She retorted. "Can we go in now? It's hot out here."

"Now, That's one thing we can agree on. This planet is as hot as the sun!" Dyan and Gram both headed into the chaotic scene. Reporters, police, and investigators had swarmed the gorgeous courtyard of the Gauntlet training facility of Brax-Delta.

"Halt! Show Identification." A silver drone stopped the duo.

"Oh. Right." Dyan scrambled for his I.D. but Gram had already slipped hers out. The officer scanned it then gave an 'all-clear'. "Thanks for the save, Grammy."

"Never call me that, and I was hoping he would hold you back." She replied.

"Geez, you might want to be careful with that no emotion stuff or Aero Void could confuse you for a Drone!" Dyan teased.

"You might want to want to watch that mouth of yours or I will kick you where the sun doesn't shine." He looked to Gram to see if she was serious, but her face was as plain and bland as a blank canvas. They continued through the crowd until they reached the double glass doors of the main building. They were met with a blast of cold air as they entered. A pure white floor stretched before the duo, black square pillars holding up the glass dome of a roof, in a symmetrical manner. A monochrome style.

"Remarkable!" Dyan enjoyed the scene. Gram shrugged in response. Her bright green eyes found nothing interesting. They continued through the grand hall that was littered with other news outlets and reporters questioning Brax-Delta members, but one man stood out compared to the others. He had a smile, just as big as Dyan's yet more friendly. He sat in a small lounge with 2 males and one female. His kind eyes focused on the camera filming him.

"Now, one thing I'd like to say is: I know this uh... episode got us a lot of attention, but this is not how I want Brax-Delta's image to be seen. We are all dedicated good people, even Aero Void." Major Novak announced.

"But Mr.Novak, are you aware that Miss Void has a record of publicly causing harm to police drones?" The reporter questioned.

"Yes." He was straight forward with his answer. "Before you make any comment; hear me out." A vibe grew over the man. "The first time I had met Aero, I was walking through the old slum in section Z-0921, she walked up to me and asked for some credits. Now, of course, I had more than enough, but I selfishly said 'no, sorry', but I was dazed by her hair, which is as pure white as the Brax-Delta combat suits, and boy did she know it. She gave me a cheap smile and said 'thanks anyway, sir', she raised her hand and I shook it, but as I walked away I noticed my holo-watch was gone, my wallet was gone and my ring was nowhere to be found."

"So, she had robbed you blind? How is this relevant?" The female reporter was interested but confused.

"Hold on, I'm trying to make a point here," Novak explained. "So yes, she had robbed me, but then had caught up to me, and said 'your wife wouldn't be pleased' as she held up my ring. She then bargains 'for a mere 500 credits I could save your marriage and I get to walk away, no questions' and instead of throwing a fit and calling the drones, I played her game. I said 'deal' and gave her 500 credits and she gave me my ring then walked away, I said 'hey what about my watch and wallet'" Major started laughing. "She said 'i said I'd save your marriage, and we had a deal, I never said anything about your other possessions' I felt like such an idiot, I have to tell you." The reporters laughed along, realizing what Aero had done. ''In the end, she got what she wanted and more, but she took none of it for herself. The next day, I was walking the same route -- because I am an idiot, who doesn't learn from his lessons -- I saw her laying out brand new clothes for a few other kids younger than her, while she was still wearing the same clothes as the day before." The reporters looked to each other, they pieced together that Aero hand spent the stolen money on clothes for poor kids younger than her, and didn't spend a credit for herself, their perspective on the girl had changed.

"Wow, that is quite selfless." The male reporter noted.

"It was, it was. It's also the reason why I asked her to join Brax-Delta. Yes sure she does some bad stuff but it's almost always for a good reason, all her life it was about what she was willing to do to survive and keep to keep the people she cared about safe. That's the Aero Void I met and grew to know these past 6 months." Major declared. Dyan clapped, announcing his presence to people in the interview.

"Amazing!" He stood in the doorway of the lounge. Gram elbowed him in the shoulder, and he realized what he had done. "Oh -- Am I interrupting?" The female reporter's eyes narrowed.

"Actually, ye-" she began.

"No, not at all," Major cut her off, and look to them. "We're done here." He firmly shook the hands of each of his interviewers. "It's been a pleasure." He smiled his kind smile. Major then joined Dyan and Gram. "How can I help you?"

"I am Dyan Powers and this is Gram, my camera. We're reporter's for the Solar Rail, remember us?"

"Right, you interviewed Aero a few months ago," Major recalled. "I'll take you to her." As they left Dyan stuck his tongue out to the other reporters. The man led them up the perfect, clean-cut stairs, and through a corridor. He showed them the room. Small yet cozy, with a glass coffee table in-between 2 couches. On one of them: the white-haired girl that had drawn the reporters there, accompanied by a boy with a small resemblance to Major.

"And who is this young man?" Dyan had his cheap smile plastered on.

"You will find out soon enough." Major winked to Trevor, who was incredibly nervous, then left the room. "You four have fun!"

Trevor sat uncomfortably in his new Brax-Delta suit. He acquired it after being brought back to the academy, Aero told his father what had happened, and before he knew it he was being prepared for an interview. He was told what to say and how to say it.

"Hello! It's great to see you again, Ms.Void!" Dyan's plastic smile was off-putting to Trevor. "You remember Gram? My camera?"

"Of course," Aero responded, she had a straight face and it freaked Trevor out, They were supposed to be smiling.

"And who is this handsome young man?" Dyan questioned. Trevor wasn't paying attention: he watched as Gram sat, her dark hair cut in a neck-long Bob, dyed with green edges that complimented her bright green, yellowish eyes. Her skin as ash-white as Aero's hair. She was exotic looking to Trevor. There was an awkward silence as he noticed everyone was looking at him.

"What?" The word escaped his lips. Aero's dark eyes narrowed. Trevor could almost telepathically hear the curse words she was saying in her head. He already knew she hated these people and getting bombarded with annoying questions on camera was not going to put her in a good mood.

"I am Minor Novak." He remembered what he was told to say. "I'm new here an-"

"Wait!" Dyan interrupted him. " The interview hasn't started yet, we were just introducing ourselves."

"Then let's get going, I have things to do." Aero snapped rudely. Gram unveiled a small piece of tech, that she then put to her temple. It powered up and a holographic panel opened up over her right eye.

"Ready, Mr.Powers." Her monotonic voice rang through Trevor's ears. Dyan cleared his throat.

"Ready kids?" He asked. Trevor nervously gulped in response, Aero slouched and rolled her eyes. Gram nodded, it was time for action. "Hello ladies and gentlemen, It's Dyan Powers of the Solar Rail and I am here in Brax-Delta, it's good to be back. Currently, I am with: whom you already know Aero Void! How's it been Ms.Void?" Trevor looked to Aero and she was slouched one leg crossed over the other, and mischievous sense in her features. Her beauty made him shutter.

"Hi Dyan, things haven't been the best, as you've probably heard." Aero didn't have a smile, just a look of finesse in her eye that said everything. Trevor was falling for it.

"Ah yes, but you also seem to have a surprise for me!" Dyan Segwayed. "And you who are you, young man?"

"I'm tre -- I mean -- I uhh..." Trevor stumbled. "Can I start over?" Dyan's cheap laughter filled the room.

"This is live, kid, but you can try again if you'd like." The man said. A knot formed in Trevor's stomach. Aero realized she forgot to tell Trevor the interviews were live.

"I am Minor Novak, and I am new to Bra-" Dyan's laugh cut him off.

"You mean your father is Major Novak, the head instructor of Brax-Delta?"

"Y-Yeah and I'm-"

"That's hilarious, not only is the man gratefully charismatic, but his humor knows no bounds! Get It? Major...Minor!" He burst into another laugh. Trevor could see why Aero hated this reporter. "Now, tell us about yourself Mr.Novak."

"Well um." Trevor had forgotten what to say. "Despite my father being a very athletic man, skilled in many sports and combat, with a primed body build, I am not." He told the truth. "I have programmed and coded A.I., I've built robots and I excel in every class." Aero rolled her eyes, she could feel his snobbiness growing and his ego starting to take place. "And I'm a great tactical coordinator since I think on a great scale." Trevor stopped, his rising comfort now gone. "But none of that mattered to my father, we were very different and it was hard to bond."

"Ah, I understand your pain, Minor Novak, my father and I never saw eye to eye, either." Dyan sympathized. "But what made you come here?"

"I figured, that the only way to make him like me was to do what he liked," Trevor answered. "I understand that I am the least likely to make it to The Gauntlet but I just want to try. If I get to see my father proud of me, it's worth going through all this."

"Wow! Do you hear that folks? This is a tear-jerking story, a boy with no chance of winning just trying to make his father proud!" Dyan clarified. "As much as I would love to talk to you about this, Minor, we have to focus on the real reason why we're here." He changed the subject. "Now we have cryptic details as to what happened at The Argon Stadium, after the tackle ball game. All we know is, Aero had assaulted a Drone during a mass brawl. Can you clear the clouds on all this commotion?"

"Honestly, it's true," Aero admitted. "But It's not about what I did, but why I did it."

"Care to elaborate?"

"The game was a close one, a lot of Reds fans were angry and they broke out into a massive fight with boars fans. Before we knew it, Robots crashed through the roof, Drone had scanned a woman and her child as part of the brawl and tried to arrest them when the woman tried to explain The Drone began to attack. It was unfair, there was no way I was going to let a kid watch his mother get pounded by that monstrosity because she didn't do anything."

"How were you so sure that the Drone was intending to cause harm?" Powers Questioned. "They have certain protocols for certain crimes, and even then a certain amount of force to use."

"These Drones were new, and I have noticed each update they get, the more brutal they are. The drone I faced was going to use electrical force, around its fist." Aero described.

"Afterwards?" Powers leaned in.

"I kicked the Droid's head off and that was that."

"Well, now your being charged with, brutality against a public defender.."

"Actually, these drones weren't exactly clarified or whatever. No human police officer knew about them. They aren't police officers. That's why I haven't been arrested." The girl clarified. "So my opponents can suck it if they think I'm out of the game already."

"That is...quite the choice of words..." Dyan chuckled awkwardly. Trevor was amazed, his father had told them what to say and to be nice, Aero had followed none of it, and with a bold manner. She didn't care and she made sure Powers knew it. "Well, we hope for the best and please be more careful! Not even Codi James was this reckless." Aero's face froze. Trevor could feel the sudden shift from nonchalant attitude, to a breaking point. Something was going to happen, and it was going to be messy."

"Well I learned what a Boar was, I mean, it's not as exciting as Aero's experience but I never knew until today so yeah...it was cool...and I'm rambling now... I'm going to shut up, now." Trevor blurted without thinking. Dyan exploded into laughter, he went on until it became too awkward then continued.

"I love this kid!" He announced with a bright smile. It was enough to clear the tension in the room, and stop Aero from tearing Dyan apart, but now the attention was on Trevor. "I think that's all we have time for today, viewers. Replays will be available at 8:00 pm Kantha time, but for now good evening, Ms.Void and Mr.Novak."

"Have a good evening, Mr.Powers." Trevor was relieved.

"See you," Aero said informally. The woman named gram tapped the machine piece on the side of her head, the little holographic frame disappeared.

"We are officially offline." Her monotonous voice announced.

"What planet are you from?" Trevor asked without thinking. She locked eyes with him and said the name.

"Venus." She responded in a dead tone. Gram looked to Dyan. "We should go."

"Right!" The thin man stood he shook Trevor's hand then reach out to Aero. "It was great seeing you guys! That was fun!" Aero gripped the man's hand tightly, she had a murderous intent in her eye. "Whoa, that's...a tight grip, there." Dyan chuckled nervously. Aero let go and said nothing.

"Goodbye, Gram." Trevor broke the tension again.

"Goodbye, Mr.Novak."

"Call me Minor." He said. Gram and a sore handed Dyan left the small room.

"That was fun," Aero commented sarcastically.

"What was that all about?" Trevor asked her.

"He crossed the line and I made sure he knew it." She responded. "You don't like him almost as much as I do, so why care?."

"Because we were told to act a certain way, and respond a certain way. What are people going to think of us?"

"People already think one thing of me, there's no point in pretending," Aero said. There was a loud knock on the door. "Come in, Jae." The boy with a built frame peered in.

"How did you-?" Trevor Began.

"Only he knocks obnoxiously loud," Aero responded.

"It's courtesy and manner." Jae's accent struck. "But besides that, Nora Novak is here." Trevor's heart stopped.

"What!" He stood up. "What is she doing here?"

"She's calling for you and she seems worried. She's also very beautiful." Trevor took a deep breath, ignoring Jae's comment.

"Ok, let's go, I want to see for myself," Aero said. As she propped herself up.

Before Trevor knew it he was downstairs. He suddenly became consciously aware of what he looked like. Standing smack in the middle of the giant monochrome hall, sporting a brand new Brax-Delta combat suit. He was snapped back into reality by a raspy voice.

A womanly figure force itself passed an officer. Trevor knew what was coming. The figure marched to him. Presenting themselves with a black trench coat, round glasses with pitch black lenses, and equally midnight gloss painted on her lips.

"Trevor Janus Novak!" The woman yelled. All attention was on them. He could hear Aero and Jae snickering like scoundrels in the background. As embarrassing as this was he had to answer or lose his life to the very person who gave it to him. So he put on a brave face and said it.

"Hi, mom." His voice calm.

"For months I've been telling you not to go to your father's job and in the two days you go: you get your leg broken and your suddenly in this huge scandal about fighting Police drones!" The boy watched as his mother worried about him. "That's it! I'm taking you home!" She grasped his hand firmly and tugged but the boy didn't budge.

"Listen, mom. I have done everything to please you, I have become the way I am because I was always trying to be your dashing boy. But now it's different. I am different. It's time I do something out of my comfort zone, and doing that means I can't always be your dashing boy. I've gone through so much in two days, I am different, now, I am Minor." He said.

"Wow." A voice struck before his mother responded. Major Novak stood tall, a small grin on his face. He had witnessed everything. "Quite the speech, but let me handle her, you kids get some rest." The now Minor Novak hugged his shocked mother.

"I'll see you." He said. He walked to Aero and Jae. He looked at them, trying to gauge their reactions to what they had just seen.

"Janus?" Aero cocked an eyebrow.

"Really? That's what you ask about, of all things?" Minor questioned. He saw that she was serious, he let out a sigh. "It's my Grandfathers name." Jae chuckled.

"It's all good, my dashing boy!" He teased.

"You guys are never letting me live this down, are you?"

"When the sun goes cold, sure!" Aero couldn't contain her laughter. During the teasing, a short boy with raven dark and piercing blue eyes approached them. Minor noticed an upset look on the boy's face.

"Hey, you guys should come see this." He said.

"What is it, Eren?" Aero raised her brow again.

"It Aired during your interviews so you probably didn't see." He said.

"See what?" Minor questioned.

"Come see for yourself." Eren gestured for them to follow. He led the trio to one of the Holo-Visions in a lounge. It was crowded with other members of Brax-Delta, their eyes all glued to the projection.

As it played Aero recognized a familiar face; dark hair slicked back sporting a plastic smile. Dyan Powers. He sat across from another familiar man. He was huge: giant muscles. with a razor-sharp square jaw, a cocky smile on his pale lips. Ian Guerda captain of Black Boars.

"So Mr.Guerda, first I'd like to say congratulations!" Dyan began.

"Appreciate it, mate!" He voice was intense, he couldn't whisper if he tried. Aero shook her head as she watched. She had no words but only a feeling of absolute disgust for the man. She justified to herself that what she did was merely small time and got a laughs out of people even if they were pissed, but this man had cheated on a great scale and got away with it. There was a small bit of respect in her disgust but she denied it was there.
After the interview finished, a commercial popped up.

"Is that it?" Aero grew bored.

"No, Aero, it's after a few more interviews." Eren assured them.

"Oh come on, mate. Just tell us!" Jae said. But someone in the blurb of Brax-Delta members shushed him. Another interview started, it was Maazar Steel.

The mans red hair was styled beautifully, he was fully groomed. A woman with white hair in a scale patterned suit interviewed him.

"Hey, Void! Is that your mommy?" A boy in
