2 weeks later...

Finally Tommy is letting me go back to school for the last week of school for my senior year.

Yes. School is almost over... and I'm going out with a 'wow'.

Caleb waited 3 days to wrap his head around the fact I was gang leader before he ran back to me saying that he was bored and was overreacting. I didn't protest that he was back by my side all day.

After 4 days of bed rest in the warehouse eventually doc let me go with an almighty cast on my arm that could wipe someone from existence if I lightly hit them. This shit was heavy. My stomach was still healing and it hurt to laugh at Caleb's ridiculousness however that started to stop after the first 10 days of being back.

Sam gave Caleb a tour of the Warehouse and he was surprised, shocked and excited at seeing all the weapons and transport we had.

Today I am going back to school and I'm going as A.

I have been waiting so long to let everyone of those bastard students know the real me, and what better time to express yourself than on the first day of your last week of High School ever.

It's not like I'm going to College.

I change into my black jeans and maroon shirt. I also chuck on my leather jacket. My brown hair cascades down my back and I throw my wig into the trash with an excited grin on my face.

Caleb is picking me up to take me to school in my car. I said we should go in his truck but he wanted to drive my mustang. However I'm the only one who drives that car, therefore we had an argument in which Caleb agreed to ride shotgun and was allowed to say he picked me up for school. It is pointless for him to drive here in his truck, saying he is picking me up for school, and then me drive us to school. But whatever I won't complain.

I hear the honk of Caleb's car outside and I race out the door.

Caleb is standing next to my mustang admiring it.

"Oi dork face. You ready to take me to school?" I ask, surprising him.

He turns to me and chuckles. His eyes look over my clothes before he smirks at me.

"Heck yeah. I call shotgun" Caleb says excitedly running to the passenger door.

"I know Caleb." I mutter under my breath chuckling at him.

We get into my car, and Caleb leans over the glove box and kisses my cheek.

"On wards!" He shouts pointing towards the gate.

I laugh and start my car. Let me tell you. It is very hard to drive with one arm in a cast. But I will manage. I am not letting Caleb drive my car.

When we are about half way to school, Caleb turns to me and grins. "What are you doing after school?"

My face goes blank.

"Ahh something you won't like" I mutter.

Caleb's grin turns into one of confusion.

So I tell him what I am doing and his frown deepens.

"It has to be done" I say, indicating into the school parking lot.

"Ava. I don't know how to feel about it. You shouldn't have told me" He says looking away from me.

"Yes well then you would be extra mad. It's going to be okay, I have to do this. I can understand if you will be mad at me, but I just have to do it" I reply pulling into a parking space.

Caleb sighs and rubs his head, as I turn the car off and I turn to face him.

"Let's forget about that for now" He says, his eyes melting into excitement as he looks around at the students stopping to look at my car again.

"Agreed" I say grinning and stepping out of the car.

Caleb gets out as well and we meet at the front of my car.

"Everyone is looking at you" I say to him.

Caleb smiles. "I think they are looking at you, cripple" He says.

"Come on. Let's go" I grab Caleb's hand and together we ignore the curious and confused glances as we walk into North Shore High School.

"Shit sake, I have math first" I mutter, remembering that it is Monday.

"Gutted" Caleb replies, walking with me to my locker.

I haven't seen Ashley of Adam yet.

"Do you have the photos?" I ask Caleb.

He barks out a laugh and reaches into his back pack and pulls out a stack of paper with one particular photo on it.

"Good. I'll see you in PE" I smirk at him and he grins watching me walk to my locker alone.

Yes he was going to walk me to my locker, but we were walking past his locker as we went, so might as well drop him off.

I reach my locker and place the photos inside my math book which I collect from the locker.

"Who are you?"

I turn to left and see a random boy. I think he is one of Adam's friends.

He looks at me up and down and smirks. Ew. I have high standards.

"A" I reply in which he raises his eyebrow like he can remember the name, but isn't sure.

"Are you new here? Kinda late to be starting school in the last week" He keeps talking and I want to punch him.

"No actually I have always been a student dick head" I reply and smile kindly at the end, just to make me seem extra bitchy.

"Whoa feisty. Anyway, I would seriously remember you" He keeps talking. My jaw tightens.

I liked it better when I was invisible instead of being googly eyed at by every guy I walk past.

I walk away from him and start walking to math, knowing that the bell should go off any second and if that kid was smart he wouldn't follow me.

Apparently he is smart, because the bell rings and the kid doesn't follow.

I reach my math class and make my way to my seat. A few people are already here, neither Adam or Ashley. They are probably off hooking up with people. Or each other. I wouldn't be surprised ether way. They don't come to class often, unless it's PE.

Ashley comes to PE to wear shorter clothes than usual for the boys, and Adam comes simply to beat up little nerds like me with dodge balls without getting in trouble for it.

Most students look my way and when the teacher arrives it gets worse.

"New student?" He asks surprised.

I look at the desk and clench my jaw.

"No" I say blankly.

Mr oriental looks even more surprised, but reforms and turns to his computer.

"Ahh lets move with the lesson"

I hear the students behind me whispering, but I ignore them. Just looking forward to PE which is next period. It isn't usually but it was moved because of some last minute exams some students have to do.

I walk into PE and immediately spot Caleb sitting with his mate mark.

He looks over at me and smirks. I smirk back and begin walking to find a seat. Adam and Ashley walk into class just as the bell rings and Mrs Hail follows after them.

"Oh a new student? I wasn't expecting anyone certainly not in the last week of school. Whats your name?" Mrs Hail asks, looking directly at me sincerely.

"Ava" I reply blankly. Was I seriously this invisible?

"Oh we have another Ava at this school, she doesn't seem to be here today though" She literally looks around the classroom. Am I that different as A?

"Nerdy Ava hasn't been here for weeks. I heard she moved schools because Ashley told everyone about her dead parents" Some jock at the back of the gym informs.

I turn to look at him and he literally winks at me.

"Yeah she took off running. It's not my fault she murdered them" Ashley states, filing her nail. Really?

"That's enough Ashley. New Ava would you like to tell us about yourself?" Mrs Hail asks.

"Does no one recognize me?" I ask and Caleb's hand shoots up.

"I do. I remember you" He says grinning at me.

I chuckle. However no one else says anything. They all remain silent.

"Have you been a student at North Shore High school before?" Mrs Hail asks kindly, trying to step over the awkwardness I put everyone in.

"I have been a student all year, and last year" I answer, making her eyes widen.

"I'm pretty sure I would have remembered you!" A jock from the back says laughing with his friends.

"I'm sure you would, if I was on the ground being kicked" I reply back coldly, glaring at the jock who then shuts up.

"What happened to your arm?" Adam asks, looking up from his phone. His eyes widen when he remembers me from when I refused him to join my gang.

He stands up and backs away from me. I play the part and look at him in confusion.

"Okay. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to join your enemy. It was Caleb's idea!"

Adam starts making excuses, thinking that I am here to kill him for joining Woodhound. Not that he even joined. Oh how the tables have turned.

"Adam, are you alright?" Mrs Hail asks with concern, walking over to Adam and trying to calm him down.

His eyes stay glued to mine.

"You have a lot more to apologize for than just that" I reply.

He looks at me confused and I roll my eyes.

"How about the 2 years worth of bullying" Caleb speaks up for me.

Everyone glances at him confused before they all gasp at the same time.

Eyes widened, jaws slack and the whispering between pairs as they recognize and realize I am nerdy Ava.

"A-ava Grey?" Mrs Hail asks, even her jaw is hanging open at my 'transformation'.

"I prefer A" I say and Caleb chuckles.

Adam drops to his knees.

"I'm so sorry. Please don't kill me" He repeats, begging.

"Seriously? Get up that's really pathetic" I comment, and Adam gets up immediately. What a twat.

"What happened to you?" Ashley speaks. Her eyes looking me up in down, but not in judgement, but instead envy.

"I took my wig off, and changed into my comfortable clothes. No big deal" I shrug at the end.

"Wait a second. That was you, with Caleb in town stumbling?" A jock at the back asks, and I turn to face him. My eyebrow raised. "I was driving past and I seen Caleb holding you up weeks ago. Were you drunk or something?"

I chuckle coldly. "Thanks for stopping to help asshole. No I wasn't drunk. I was bleeding to death"

Ashley scoffs. "We don't care that your monthly turns you into Godzilla, but you don't need to be that dramatic"

I almost laughed. Is she this stupid.

I lift up my shirt, to show my bandaged and cut to pieces stomach.

I ignore the gasps and whispers, and focus on Ashley who has gone pale.

"Ava. Maybe we should talk to the principal?" Mrs Hail says, stepping towards me. I imagine she doesn't know what to do in this position. It wouldn't have been in the teacher manual.

I groan. "Whatever."

"Just play a game of dodge ball or something, until I get back" Mrs Hail instructs the class.

I look over at Caleb and he shrugs. Why do I need to go to the principal? I mean yeah I have changed a bit, and I may have gotten rather dramatic answering Ashley. But the principal? really?

The class all slowly get up and watch Mrs Hail and I leave the gym.

When the gym door closes, I hear the commotion of the students inside.

Mrs Hail walks with me silently before she stops and looks at me. "Why did you do it? Why did you let them walk over you?"

I look at her and she shakes her head in apology. "Oh Ava I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that"

"It's fine Miss. I did it because my home life is very different to my school life, and therefore I wanted to be someone different here. Someone who wasn't relied on" I remark.

Mrs Hail nods. "I understand"

We walk silently the rest of the way to the principals office.

I sit down outside his office, while Mrs Hail goes inside to inform the principal about me. Or something like that.

"Ava Grey. You can speak with the principal now" The desk assistant informs.

I nod and walk straight inside the principals office.

"Take a seat Ava, we just want to make sure you are okay" The principal says.

I sit down awkwardly, due to my cast and the arm rest.

"What happened to your stomach?" He asks, placing his chubby hands on the desk in front of him.

"I've got to get back to my class" Mrs Hail excuses herself from the room and I stay silent.

"Ava?" The principal asks, checking to make sure I'm not ignoring him.

"I fell down some stairs. Landed on my cat, so he scratched me" I reply, standing up and walking out.

I don't need this school to be deemed as unsafe, because they had a gang leader registered as a student for 2 years.

This is a good school, and I don't want to ruin their reputation.

So as I walked out with the principal calling after me, I remained silent. My head high and I walked away lying straight to his face, and feeling no regret about it.

These people, students and teachers don't need to know about me.

***

"Ava, I don't want you to do this" Caleb mentions, as I get into my car after getting my equipment.

"Caleb. You can't stop me. I will find a way to do this, whether it be today or tomorrow. Think about what he did" I reply back expressionless.

Starting my car, I drive away before Caleb can yell at me more through the window.

When I arrive at the destination of a shopping mall, I climb the flight of stairs to the ceiling.

I walk to the top ledge and look down below at the buildings surrounding it.

Satisfied. I grab out my M40 rifle and set up a comfortable position for the shot to be taken.

I lay down on the rooftop, and look through my scope. When I find the brown haired man with his back turned to me, I breathe deeply.

I close my eyes, and imagine everything he put me through. The images flash in my head and I feel the strong urge to pull the trigger.

However as my finger rests on the trigger, Caleb's face flashes into my mind.

Do I do this?

He turns around and I zone in on the scope. Do I kill him for everything he has done to me?

Do it?

Don't do it?

Do it?

I watch through the scope as Jackson moves around the room, my gun follows him.

My finger twitches. My mind goes blank.

'bang'

Everything from there felt like time had stopped. My eyes moved slowly as they traveled along with the flying silver bullet. My breath, caught in my throat. Minutes later I see the bullet make contact.
