Third POV

The bell finally rung, indicating that last period was finally over. Alex immediately got up from her seat and turned to Billie who was shoving her text book into her bag, quite aggressively.

Alex glanced at Andrea, who was reapplying her lipstick with a little circle mirror.

She took that as her chance to confide in Billie, while Andrea was distracted.

She quickly walked over to her and said "Hey, you good?"

"Oh, I'm just dandy." Billie scowled.

Alex let out a laugh as she grabbed Billie's hand and started rubbing it with her thumb, in attempt to make her feel at least a little less bitter.

And it did. A small smile soon appeared on Billie's face as she glanced down at Alex's soft lips.

They continued talking, not realizing someone was watching them. Andrea stared at them though her little mirror. She couldn't make out what they were saying, but when she saw Alex holding onto Billie's hand, she didn't like it.

A couple minutes later Billie swung her arm around Alex's shoulder and they walked over to Andrea. Andrea quickly shut her mirror and shoved it into her makeup bag.

"Hey, so a couple of us are going to Dairy Queen after school, wanna come?" Alex said with a friendly smile.

"Sure." Andrea grinned as she picked up her purse from the floor.

"You really think my Honda civic can fit all of yalls fat asses? Someone's gonna have to lap up." Ethan shrugged, not giving a fuck as he got onto the drivers seat. Diego called, well practically screamed shotgun, so that left Billie, Ruby, Andrea, and Alex to squeeze in the back.

Billie sat down into the car and plopped Alex onto her lap. Ruby walked over to the other side of the car to get in, but Andrea just stood there.

She crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at Billie.

Billie realized Andrea was there and said "Amy, right?"

"It's Andrea." she replied coldly.

"You don't mind, do you? I'm just tryna be with my bestie." Billie sent her a fake smile. She snaked her arms around Alex's waist and pulled her body closer to herself.

Andrea didn't say anything, she just slammed their door shut and jogged over to the other side.

"Be nice, okay?" Alex turned and looked up at Billie, who had a sly smirk on her lips.

"Bitch, I am nice. Some people might even say I'm the nicest."

"That is not correct." Ethan said.

"Literally no one says that." Ruby added as she texted someone on her phone.

"Fax, no printer." Alex added.

"Fuck y'all." Billie groaned.
