Arrows whipped past her head as she stepped out of her house. She saw two people running away with Dream running after them.

"What's going on? Dream?" She yelled.

"I'll explain later." He yelled back. She sighed, grabbed her shield and followed them at a safe distance.

The two kept running until they were out of L'Manburg, and then they frantically pulled on armor and turned to fight. Jay had almost forgotten about the law against armor, as Dream was almost always wearing it. They had a fight, albeit quick. Dream was good at what he did, and he blocked himself from all sides but one; his left side, where the mask blocked part of his field of view. He made up for it by constantly moving and spinning, changing the location of his blind spot. Jay filed that bit of information away for another day.

"What was this all about?" Jay asked, walking up to him once the fight was over.

"Oh, you know, they tried to steal something pretty valuable from me." He said, pulling something out of the guys bag. "This is George, and that's Quackity. They're leaders of Mexican L'Manburg, and they're trying to get independence from the Dream SMP. But they can't just go around stealing my things."

"You're bleeding." She noted, seeing a large gash in Dreams side through his armor. He looked down like he hadn't noticed.

"I'm fine." He shook his head.

"No, you're hurt." She marched right up into his space, "take off your armor."

"What?"

"Take. Off. Your. Armor." She demanded, slowly. He glanced around, almost confused. Then, he took off the chestpiece.

She grabbed a roll of bandages from her bag, cleaning up the blood.

"What are you-"

"Dream, for a smart guy, you're really stupid sometimes. You're not going to leave this thing to bleed and then get infected." Soon, she had him all bandaged up and good as new. "There."

"Thank you?"

"You're welcome." She nodded and then walked over to Quackity, pulling out the few supplies she had to help stave bleeding. As she was bandaging his head, he began to wake up.

"Wha- who are you?" He asked as she tied off the bandage.

"I'm Jay. Dreams a friend." She glanced back at him. Dream got a dark smile on his face. "Just relax. I'm here to help, and green boy over there isn't gonna touch you."

"You think you could stop him if he tried?" He asked.

"I know I could." She said, softly, so he couldn't hear. She winked and then stood. "Well I'm gonna get back to decorating my home." She smiled, "see ya later Dream." He waved as she walked away.

Finally, finally, she was getting to see her little brother again. Phil was sneaking her all the way to Logstedshire, with the hope that Dream wouldn't be there when they arrived. She was never one to be nervous, but if she got caught then that would mean the end of everything she had built there, and it could mean doom for Tommy.

As they neared the campsite, Jay held her breath. She heard talking, but it didn't sound like Dream. Phil walked ahead of her, and then motioned for her to follow. Tommy was sitting on the ground in a tent with Wilbur kneeling next to him. He looked all scratched up and dirty. She took a breath and stepped into the tent.

Tommy didn't even look up, just sighed. "What do you want?" He asked.

It was like she couldn't speak, she couldn't say a word. All the oxygen felt like it had been drained from her lungs.

"I said, what do you-" he looked up and they locked eyes. The words died in his mouth.

"Hi Tommy." She said softly, smiling at him. He stood, and he was so much talker now. Taller than her and almost as tall as Wil.

"Jay?" He asked. Tommy had never been able to say her full name, that's where the nickname originated.

"Hi little brother." She held her breath, this was it. This was the moment she had waited for and was terrified of for 11 years. He looked mad, and then sad, and then happy, and then mad again.

"You left me." He said. Phil grabbed Wils arm and pulled him out of the tent. "You left me alone. You were all I had and you just left."

"I know, Tommy, I know." She said quietly. "I thought you hated me."

"I can't- how could I have hated you." He sat down on the bed, burying his head in his hands. "Why did you... why did you really leave?" He asked. She sat next to him.

"You have to realize, it was a lot more that you. It was like, all my life I was surrounded by these super boys and I was just the invisible girl. You guys were hero's, lovers, princes, and it was like I wasn't even there. Dad prioritized you guys. Mom was there for me, but once she was gone..." she sighed. "I blamed you and I shouldn't have. For being everything I couldn't be. I was young. I didn't know what to think. And then as I realized I was wrong, well, it had been so long..."

"You were scared." He finished, looking up at her.

"Yeah. I was scared." She nodded. He sighed and then hugged her tightly.

"I missed you." He whispered.

"Tommy!" She heard from outside- Dreams voice. Tommy's eyes went wide and he looked at her in a panic. They both stood up and Tommy helped her climb under the bed, hiding her with a blanket. Then Dream walked into the tent.

"Come on, Tommy, armor off." Dream said. Jay lifted a hand to her mouth, trying so hard not to make a noise. She heard rustling, assumed he was taking off the armor. She heard a loud thump and then the crackling of fire, followed by a loud boom.

"What do you want, Dream?" Tommy asked, standing in front of the bed.

"Oh, you know, just checking up." Dream responded.

"How is everyone back home?"

"Happier now. And there's a new girl in town. Her name is Jay. Very nice. Smart too. She kind of looks like you actually." He took a step closer. "Blonde hair and blue eyes. I've seen her and Tubbo together, it seems he's found a replacement TommyInnit." Dream laughed. "He doesn't need you anymore. I'm your only friend now. And don't you forget it." And then Dream turned to leave. Once she was sure he had gone, she crawled out from under the bed.

"Tommy, are you okay?"

Whew that was a long one. Anywho, thank you all so so much for doubling my read on that last chapter! We went from 300 to 700 in like 2 days, so thank you! I really appreciate it. I'm trying to find a proper schedule for releasing chapters, so I'll keep you updated on that.
Also, I'm gonna do a fun chapter for 1000 reads, so leave suggestions for that! Probably in flashback format, but I want to do something to thank you all.
Finally, I recently started a one shot book! So, if you enjoy my writing, please head over there and give it some love. It's mostly SBI stuff, but I'm throwing in some new characters soon.
Thank you all again for enjoying ❤️
