Tyler's POV

"Where are we going!?" She giggled as I gripped her hand and ran down the sidewalk and away from the banquet. "Somewhere."

"Wait, Hold on. My heels, I can't run in heels!" She exclaimed. I stopped abruptly which caused her to crash into my back. I turned around and gave her a sheepish smile as she glared at me.

"Come on, I'll carry you." I smiled as I knelt down and flicked her heels off her feet. She gasped as I grasped her hands and draped it over my shoulders.
"Wrap your legs around my waist."

"Tyler. I'm not gonna let you carry me around New York. Don't you know these streets are busy!?" She exclaimed loudly. I huffed and rolled my eyes in annoyance.

"Trust me, Bella. Just wrap your legs around my waist, come on."

She groaned deeply and wrapped her long slender legs around my waist. I stood up and chuckled at the squeal that left her lips. I ran my hands down her smooth skin and began walking down the quiet streets.

Arabella's father made sure to close down this part of the streets specifically for the party so there wasn't anyone around. I didn't plan on going exactly to Times Square but I still needed to walk through it.

"Have you been here before?" She asked after moments of complete silence. "Yeah, I have because my cousin lives around here but I don't know it all that well."

"Where are we going?" She asked. I sighed and pinched her leg but not too hard so it would hurt all that much. "Ouch!"

"You'll see!"

I could feel the daggers penetrating through the back of my head which made me rumble in laughter. She tightened her grip around my neck until it felt like all the air was knocked out of me.

I began coughing frantically and stopped when her laughter echoed through my ears. "What was that for!?" I asked as I placed her onto her feet and spun around angrily yet amusedly.

She flashed me her million-dollar smile and I couldn't help but break into a smile as well. She was utterly beautiful tonight with her red dress that hugged her figure so extravagantly and her partly tanned skin that sparkled in the dim lights.

"Just showing you who's boss, and where are we going!?" She drawled out as her hands flailed in the air dramatically. I rolled my eyes and grabbed her hand before pulling beside me.

"Hey at least let me put on my heels." She huffed out. I spun around and smirked as she stared at me confusedly. I walked towards her and swooped her off her feet–literally and into my arms in a bridal style position.

"Tyler put me down!" She warned threateningly. I shook my head and spun around as her hands wrapped around my neck. "Nope."

"Ugh kill me now!"

"I'm afraid I can't do that princess. At least not yet." I mumbled the last part purposely. "What!?" I laughed deeply and shook my head amusedly as the lights from Times Square began to come into view.

This is going to be fun.

"Where is this place?" She asked softly as we began descending the dimly lit stairs that led to the underground bar. "Is this another one of those fighting arena thingies?"

I spun around and placed both my hands on her shoulders. I quirked my brows annoyingly and sighed when she gave me a sheepish smile. "You just don't know when to shut up do you?" I asked. Her mouth fell open as she parted them to retort but I shushed her by placing my finger on her lips.

"Just follow me," I reassured her as I grabbed a hold of her hand and strutted down the hallway. We made our way to the door and I pushed it open.

Immediately the smell of alcohol and nicotine washed over my face. The loud shouting and hooting echoed around us and I could feel the excited buzz reverberating off the walls in the room.

Now, this was my scene.

"An underground bar?" She asked as she stepped beside me. Her eyes scanned the entire bar and a small smirk made its way onto her lips. "I don't suppose there's bull riding right?" She asked as she glanced up at me.

I smirked and motioned towards the hooting crowd who were surrounding the bull riding machine. Her face immediately lit up as she grasped my hands and pulled me down the stairs.

"Oh my god. This is on my bucket list!" She squealed excitedly. I scrunched up my face in amusement and let out a chuckle. "You have a bucket list. That's so middle schoolish." I teased.

She pivoted on her heels and snatched her hands out of mine as if it stung. She gasped and draped her hand over her chest dramatically. "You disgust me!"

"I'm gonna go get us some drinks. You can watch the bull riding but do not go on it!" I sternly exclaimed. She rolled her eyes and waved her hands in the air dismissively.

"Yeah, whatever."

I chuckled and spun around, I strutted towards the bar, dodging the desperate stares from the middle-aged biker women. I ignored them and slumped down onto the stool before the bar. "Two Beers please," I smirked at the woman behind the bar.

She looked to be in her mid-twenties but I wasn't all that impressed. She had nothing on Bella. She handed me the beers and I thanked her by placing the money on the counter.

I spun around to head back towards and the sight before me was well–extraordinary. I was angry yet flabbergasted at the same time when I saw a familiar girl dressed in a red dress riding a bull.

It didn't start yet but she was grinning widely as she grasped her hands on the bars. I rushed towards her and pushed through the cheering crowd, "Arabella, get down!" I hissed.

She stuck her tongue out for me and whooped loudly as the bull began to move.. "Oh god help me." I cried out dramatically as I leaned against the fence and stared up at her wide-eyed face.

The bull began to move faster and more viscously and so did her body. It thrashed from left to right and I winced each time she would tip over but calmed down when I realized she was enjoying it.

The crowd made it even better because they were cheering her on as she swung one hand in the air which held her red stiletto. "She's not even drunk," I mumbled to myself in disbelief.

After moments of the bull thrashing her body around and her screaming and waving at me countless times. She was finally flung off the bull and landed on the bouncing platform beneath her with a very loud thump.

"You okay?" I winced in pain as I peered down at her still figure. She groaned deeply and lifted her hands till her thumb stuck out. I chuckled and helped her onto her feet.

Her hair was dishevelled like she just rolled out of bed. Her pink lips were stretched into a wide grin as she swayed on her feet and she vigorously nodded her head. "Karaoke!" She mouthed as she stumbled into my arms.

"Did you drink before we came here?" I asked as I dragged her to a free table. She shook her head vigorously and bit her lip seductively. "No. . .yes, maybe!" She exclaimed cheerfully.

I handed her the can of beer and she quickly popped it open and took a swig from it before staring at me warily. "What?" I asked with arched brows as I cocked my head to the side to stare at her–like I've said many times–her beautiful face.

"Why'd you bring me here?" She asked after moments of silence.

"My cousin always brought me here whenever I visited. It's special to me because it's the place where I could be free and let go of all my stress. So I'm doing the same for you."

"I love it." She mumbled as her brown eyes flickered to me. A grin suddenly emerged from her lips and I suppressed a groan when I knew just what she wanted to do.

"Come on Ty, for me?" She pouted cutely. I groaned deeply and shook my head vigorously. She pouted more deeply and batted her eyes cutely. God, how can I refuse her when she's so goddamn adorable?

"Fine!"

She beamed brightly and grasped my hand before pulling me off the chair and dragging me towards the stage. She practically shoved the singer who just finished their song off the stage and sauntered towards the laptop.

I awkwardly glanced around the bar and smiled nervously at the prying eyes that were trained intently on us. I love attention but this kind was not my forte. "Got a song!" She squealed.

The familiar beat of a song began to play and I groaned inwardly when I realized what song it was. She began moving her hips to the beat and I had to suppress my laugh at how ridiculous and cute she looked.

She glanced at me and parted her lips before giving me a mischievous smile. "Oh don't you dare look back just keep your eyes on me I said you're holding back she said shut up and dance with me!"

~~~
"Come on!" She giggled as her hands encircled mine. Even in the busy and buzzing streets, I could still hear the pitter-patter of her feet hitting the pavement as we weaved through the crowd.
No one seemed to pay attention to the two young adults running around Times Square dressed as if we jumped out of a magazine. But this was New York, no one cared what you did because it's nothing new.
Arabella wasted no time as she gripped my arm tightly and dashed across the busy streets zooming with vehicles. The loud blaring horn enveloped my ears, along with the profanities from said driver.
I looked ahead of me and laughed as Arabella tried hard to keep her dress up high with one hand along with the pair of stilettos in her hand whilst the other grasped mine.
I didn't understand why we were running but it added to the thrill. And I'm pretty sure she's drunk out of her mind so that explains as well. We rushed past the Father Duffy statue and stumbled up the stairs all the while mumbling sorry to the people that were shoved out of our way by drunk young adults.
When we finally reached the top of the stairs. She stopped and dropped her stilettos onto the stairs. She beamed brightly and I was glad that neither one of us was tired from all that running.
"Why did we come here anyway?" I asked as I stared at her intensively. Her eyes twinkled as she spun away from my view, her back now facing me.
"Look."
I followed her gaze and chuckled in amazement as I stared at the wonderful view before me. The streets were bright, filled with the life of the pedestrians that idled their way down the streets. The large screens that illuminated its multicoloured lights onto the streets gave the atmosphere a movie-like feeling as if you were the star viewing the extraordinary scenery before you.
Arabella let out a satisfied huff, her arms wrapped around her body tightly as she smiled into the dark chilly night air.
I stared at her, just admiring her utter beauty and I frowned deeply. I didn't deserve such a beautiful and intelligent girl like her. She did things to me that I've never felt before.
Just here mere touch made me shiver from the contact. Every time I listened to her laugh and watched that mesmerizing smile etched on her face I would get this warm feeling inside and feel like I'm slowly slipping from my facade.
I think that I was slowly starting to love her at some point in time. It happened, I don't know when maybe it was right after she came to my house that day but it happened.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" She mumbled.
"It's breathtaking," I mumbled back. She snapped her head towards me and smiled softly. Her smile soon fell and was replaced by a humorous chuckle, "this is so cliche that I think I'm gonna puke." She gagged.
I shrugged my shoulders lightly and slid closer to her side. I cupped her cheeks in my palms and caressed her smooth skin under my fingertips. Her lips parted as she searched my eyes frantically like she was searching for something. Maybe she found it, and maybe I hope that she did.
"Sometimes it's not that bad to be cliche. To my knowledge of cliche moments, I'm supposed to kiss you any moment now," I grinned. She rolled her eyes and wrapped her hands around my waist, she laid her chin down onto my chest and smiled.
"You're supposed to brush a strand of my hair behind my ear whilst I stare up at you like you're the only man in the world for me." She giggled. I smirked and brushed a strand of her brown tendril behind her ear.
With one hand I wrapped it around her chin softly, "and I think now I'm supposed to kiss you."
She nodded her head softly as I leaned in and pressed my forehead against hers, our noses brushed against each other in an Eskimo kiss. I flickered my eyes shut for a moment and let her sweet scent envelope my nostrils. Pulling my head away from hers I pulled her into a hug and decided that I'd just embrace her in my arms.
Embrace this moment before something or someone ruins it. And by someone I mean me.
Before I could enjoy the essence of being in the arms of the woman I was starting to love, the sound of a loud gasp snapped me out of my thoughts. I pulled away from the hug and watched wide-eyed as a guy tumbled down the stairs until he landed on a flat surface.
He remained that way for a few moments before he sprung onto his feet and yelled that he was okay, only for him to spin on his heels and tumble down the last step, he came crashing onto the streets and I let out a guffaw, followed by Arabella who did hide the fact that this mans misery was amusing.
She glanced up at me, her head shaking slightly in disbelief, "this is a mad world isn't it?"
"Definitely."
