Tyler's POV

"I always knew you had the hots for me," Ace snorted, wiggling his brows towards me as he stumbled out of the room. Placing both hands against his back I shoved him forward which resulted in him tripping over his own feet and tumbling to the ground with a loud thud. He groaned in pain and peered up at me, his eyes glistening with amusement.

"First you sexually harass me and now you abuse me. Typical–stereotypical man." He scoffed. I outstretched my hand towards him but he brushed it away and pushed himself off the ground.

"Lights!" Max exclaimed loudly. I moved towards the wall and flicked the switch on, watching as the bright white light flooded the room. Arabella gasped loudly as she gripped onto Erika's hand tightly, her eyes flickering over the colourful control panels.

Aaron smirked as he lowered himself onto one of the chairs and reached towards the panel, he flickered on a few switches then pressed a red button and leaned backwards in relaxation.

"What did you just do?" Erika asked as she leaned over the chair to take a closer look at the controls. "I just set on every game baby and now we scavenge for tokens to play them, so come on."

Erika squealed in excitement, grabbed onto Ace's hands and anxiously tugged him out of the room. "I wanna play just dance."

"Just dance?" Max asked Aaron, his brows wiggling. Aaron nodded his head and high fived Max before they both stumbled out of the room, leaving Arabella and me alone. "You coming Mr I-make-my-friends-break-into-arcades?" Bella asked smugly as she leaned onto the frame of the door. I flashed her a smirk and shook my head as I sauntered towards her and grasped her hands in mine.

She pursed her lips in a thin line and nodded her head as I flickered the lights off and pulled her out of the room and down the hallway towards the stairs that led to the actual fun of the arcade.

"This is probably one of the most thrilling things I've done in a while." She mumbled.

"See I'm fun!" I gasped sheepishly, she smiled in what seemed to be astonishment before composing her facial structure to stoic as she muttered 'whatever' under her breath. "What do you wanna play first, I mean that is if you wanna play."

"I wanna play the pink panther game, every arcade that I go to I always play it because it gives you hella tickets." She squealed as we tumbled towards so said game. "All these games give lots of tickets. They're just rigged by the staff to take your money." I mumbled as she hopped towards it, her eyes scanning the coin slot.

"I don't have coins." She pouted cutely, the dim lights above her head illuminated across her face, giving me a clearer view of the small details that you wouldn't have seen if you hadn't shown a flashlight against it.

I smirked, slowly rounded her body as her eyes trailed towards me in sync. I placed one hand against her waist and felt the stiffness of her body as I laid my head on her shoulder. "I thought we were supposed to be playing games?" She mumbled softly to the point where I almost didn't hear her.

For once I didn't feel the slightest tense before Arabella, there was limited tension, no screaming, no visible uneasiness and that's maybe due to the sexual tension between us but I liked that at this moment things were calm, we were calm. But it couldn't last forever. "Fine, I'll get you those coins."

I hightailed towards the counter, swiftly pulled myself onto it and hopped into the back. Not only did my friend allow us to come here after hours, but he also showed us the stash of coins that allowed us to play the games. So with my knowledge of its location, I found just enough coins to satisfy us for the night and made my way out.

"Aaron you're making me lose." Arabella giggled loudly as she shoved Aaron away from the game, he stumbled over his feet and clutched onto her hand to support himself which caused her body to jerk forward, falling into his. Both their laughter erupted around me and I shifted my eyes towards the coins before balling it into my fist.

Raising his head, his eyes came into contact with mine and slowly he nodded. I nodded in response and watched as he gripped onto Bella's hand, tugging her along with him. I hopped over the counter, following them to the source of noise which came from my last three brain cells at 2 in the morning dancing.

"Shit!" Max groaned loudly as he slammed his hand against the handle behind him, no doubt fracturing it in the process. At his lack of good judgement, he hissed in pain, his eyes flickering down to his hand as his face grimaced and he squealed. "Ha! I guess you don't take losing lightly." Erika stuck her tongue out to which she received a slap across the hand by Arabella who was currently rubbing Max's hand.

"C'mon, Max. Let's put some ice on that." Aaron exclaimed as he helped Max down from the game and lead him away from us.

"So let's forget that just happened. Bella do you wanna play with me, I am the current reigning champion." Ace smirked as he nudged Arabella's shoulder, "not for long." She smiled, hopping onto the game and outstretching her hands towards me, her lips still pulled into that small smile, "coins?"

~~~
"Tyler. . ."
I grunted in response, focusing my eye on the target before me before I released my finger on the trigger and watched as the bullet pierced through the zombie's head. "Have you spoken to Bells yet?" He asked as he slipped a coin into the slot and took the other gun beside me from its stand.
"No, why should I talk to her?"
"Well, I don't know Tyler. Maybe its the fact that last night you revealed one of our biggest secrets to her and she has yet to say anything on the matter. I call that shell shocked, she's not processing everything yet in that tiny head of hers, she may think she knows what goes on down there but she has no idea and you know that."
"The bar should have broken your hand." I spat as I slipped down from the chair, leaving a gaping Max behind me, his mouth hung low as he searched for a good comeback which he failed to do.
I made my way towards the girls who were playing Mario Cart, off-topic but this has to be the first arcade I've ever seen has a Mario Cart game. But as I stood there, taking in her presence, her long tanned legs that moved with precise, her long brown hair that cascaded down her back or the way her lips pulled into a smile, giving me a view of her pearly white teeth, for a moment I forgot that I wanted to talk to her.
So I cleared my throat, leaned against the game and leaned down to her height to catch her attention. "Arabella, can we talk?" She arched her brows questionably and turned to face Erika who shrugged in response. "Well, I'm done. I'll go raid the food with the guys!"
As Erika disappeared behind the counter I climbed into her vacant seat beside Arabella then slowly turned towards her stiffened body. She might not want to show it but it was evident in her eyes how nervous she was to have me sitting this close to her, but we've been in more intimate positions, this was nothing. I still loved how I made her so nervous but I hated how she made me feel because everything she does has me cracking under pressure and I cannot crack.
"Can I ask you a question?" I mumbled, quite nervous to ask her something this sensitive but I needed to know where her head was at. I needed to not be confused and constantly ask myself questions after self-sabotaging. I needed to hear the words straight out from her own mouth.
"What?"
"Do you hate me?" I asked softly, my chin falling into my hand as I leaned into her. Her eyes widened at first and her cheeks suddenly turned a light shade of red, the wrinkles under her eyes and the pursing of her lips made it obvious that Arabella Smith found this either extremely amusing or she felt ashamed.
"Tyler. . .I don't–I can't, I won't ever hate you." She stuttered, her head shaking softly. I smiled in response, the giddy feeling that was poking me tonight sudden reappeared and I found myself dipping my head slowly so that she wouldn't see my smile before I cleared my throat and once again held her gaze.
"Let's start over. The way that things went down the first day you guys came here shouldn't have happened. I was an asshole and I took advantage of you in the elevator and I can't say much for yourself."
"Tell me about it." She snorted, her hands fumbling with the hem of her jeans. "Arabella, look at me." She peered up slowly, her eyes coming into contact with mine, they were soft and timid and under the luminescent lights, she appeared like a lost puppy trying to find its way back to its owner.
She hesitantly looked up and I smiled as I reached forward and brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear and then slowly let my hands linger on her soft skin before smirking. "You go first, tell me your name and your age."
"What, Tyler, are you serious?" She giggled softly.. I kept my face stoic and passive although I was dying to break into another smile or laughter. But for my sake, I kept sane and shrugged. "Who told you my name was Tyler. I know I never did."
"Come on Bella. This can't possibly hurt. Do it, for me. For us. . ." I trailed off, making sure that she didn't look away from my penetrating gaze even if she tried the hardest. And the longer she gazed the harder it was for her to deny me. "Fine! my name is Arabella Smith and I'm nineteen years old. Happy?" She asked sarcastically.
"My name is Tyler Hart and I'm the only guy that'll ever be in your bed," I replied nonchalantly to which her body stiffened before she let out a long snort, her hands falling over her eyes as she shook her head slowly.
"Tyler c'mon be serious." She breathed out. I rolled my eyes and leaned towards her once again. Grabbing a hold of her cheek, I closed the space between us, not caring that at the moment I was breathless and so was she.
Cocking my head sideways, I brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear, leaned into it and smirked, "my name is Tyler Hart and I'm the guy you're gonna fall madly in love with."
